Sada had most passively aggressively awoken and suggested that Ame say farewell to her siblings. Left with no other choice, Ame relented. Early the next day, the sky was still dark as the cold winter morning air blew.
HuiFeng and Hong wait together as Ame politely stands in the background, waiting for the sect to escort the two back to their respective sects, the Immortal Sword Sect and Blazing Fist Sect. She hadn’t had much of a choice as Sada was too concerned about this. Besides, she couldn’t help but be curious of the members of said sects.
Two Eagles’ proud cries pierce the morning sky as beautiful silver and copper Heaven Eagles glide gently to a stop in the courtyard without even disrupting the fallen snow on the ground. The figure on the silver eagle looks prim and proper and untouched by the world, whereas the figure on the copper eagle yawns loudly and stretches his barely covered muscular body.
The man on the silver eagle smiles charmingly at HuiFeng and says, “Hello, Lady Min. It will be my honor to escort you back to the Immortal Sword Sect.”
HuiFeng does not return the smile as she turns her back on the figure. Ame hides her smirk at seeing the man’s face fall at being ignored. HuiFeng smiles gently at Hong and softly says, “Take care, I will see you next year.”
Hong nods proudly before heading towards his sempai. HuiFeng takes her cue and heads towards her sect senior. Hong barely jumps onto the copper eagle before without warning, the copper eagle takes off and soars rapidly out of sight.
Ame turns her gaze towards HuiFeng as the sect senior offers her a hand, but she coldly ignores the hand and easily clambers onto the silver eagle herself. With a soft whistle, the silver eagle gently lifts into the sky. Soon, the silver eagle also vanishes into the horizon.
