Clyde turned off the alarm as he stared into the eyes of the hungry demoness. Before he could speak, she launched an aggressive kiss, pulled back then smiled. Her hand was already in his boxers, as she kissed him again.
“You can’t let me play alone,” Alice said softly, unlocking the beast within Clyde. He pulled her onto his lap, launching his own assault of kisses. Alice’s breathing grew husky. She softly moaned from a kiss on her neck. Swiftly, Clyde took an eye full of every man’s glory, his craving for the demoness at the point of no return. While she had nothing on Harumi, he still cuffed a handful of soft, amazing, breasts. Boobs were love, boobs were life—this briefly rang through the young man’s head, perhaps heads, until a logical thought managed to pierce the lustful instincts.
He had no protection. He could still remember Mortem’s warning as if he spoke it to Clyde hours ago. Everyone and this world were real. Sure, in a parallel world or alternate dimension, but living, breathing, conscious beings. The last thing he needed was to take his chances at accidentally impregnating a fucking demoness.
Maybe he’d have to chance it at pulling out in time. He made the judgment call—Alice was way too into it. And so was he. He’d just have to be late for class, regardless of the consequences.
He laid Alice down, hungrily kissing her, moving lower. He slipped two fingers into what felt like an ocean. The demoness’s moan almost made Clyde release. She frantically accepted Clyde’s kisses as if they were her source of life. As his fingers swam in her, she pushed fingernails into his back, ecstasy pouring from her mouth.

Clyde was ready to enter the land of milk and honey when abruptly, a ring of the doorbell, followed by a few knocks sounded from his front door. He wanted to ignore it but realized that someone else also went to the same college as he. A neighbor whom he’d have to explain things too—not that his sex life was her business.
Harumi had done nothing to get his cold shoulder. He also didn’t want to explain why he was about to have wild sex with a demoness.
“Ignore it,” Alice said softly. “You’re an incredible lover—take me. Dominate me now.”
Clyde’s erection felt like it tripled. He seriously considered her offer, but Mortem and his douche-shit masters expected him to attend this school. He couldn’t risk it.
“After classes, if you come over,” he said, almost disbelieving the words that flowed from his mouth. The demoness frowned.
“I suppose I cannot be angry with you for attending your human schooling,” Alice said then laid back. “A smart man is an attractive one—but we were in the middle of something you know. It’s rude to leave a girl unsatisfied, so I will be back, twice over. If your human friend is jealous, she could just join in. I can do things—”
“Let’s not get ahead of ourselves,” Clyde said, holding down his eagerness of getting to plow a beautiful woman twice. He couldn’t wait for this school day to end. He’d have to avoid any afterschool engagements, though something in the back of his mind warned him that it wasn’t going to be so easy. After cleaning up and ignoring Alice’s temptations for a quickie in the shower, while he brushed his teeth, and even while walking to answer the door. To his relief, the demoness vanished when he opened the door, though with a silent promise to return after his classes ended.

“You sure took your time,” Harumi said. “Are you okay?”
He noticed that she attempted to peek inside, as if searching for someone. Clyde closed the door. A prompt nearly made him freeze.
[Your relationship with Alice has changed from friendly, curious, teasing, and sexually interested to friend, teasing, and sexually intense craving. You will be subjected to constant sexual banter from Alice. However, as your friend, she will respect you. She will not interfere with your operations. Warning, verbal sexual banter may spark jealousy levels from any of your female friends with CLOSER standing, regardless of level. It is advised not to enter a relationship until you abolish the sexually intense craving rank. You can do this by simply telling your friend. You will not be penalized for doing so; however, regaining this rank becomes 150 times easier. Be warned, if you cheat in your relationship, be prepared for consequences if you’re caught.]
[You’ve earned 500 EXP for obtaining this rank.]
“Just overslept a bit,” Clyde lied. He decided to deal with the prompt later. If Alice wanted to make a play or two at him, he wouldn’t mind. He still asked himself why do this with a demoness.
When the duo reached the front gates, Chika anime-dove into his arms. As if a switch flipped inside his brain, he found himself engulfing comfort from her. Dammit, it’s just because she was cute. Clyde pushed away the sappy thoughts. The fact that he almost…. almost…. fucking, almost had sex with two beautiful women but some event got in the way of it. His anime trope senses rang. THE FUCKING HAREM. It all made sense now. And it had to be dealt with this day.
A cold, revolting chill sunk into his spine. Maybe the inability to ever have sex in this world was simply a sign to focus on getting home.
Only an idiot would believe that. He could end up in this world for years…. years of anime tropes. Shit. He needed to take control, guide his own fate. Fate or whatever the fuck it was called, Clyde thought.
During lunch, Clyde decided to eat lunch alone, in hopes to think to himself when caught sight of another anime trope. A really busty anime girl with long purple hair and matching eyes walked in a stuck-up, possibly dignified way. Young men all around her seemed to lose their minds—doing whatever they can to greet her. So, she showed up at last. The popular girl. Clyde would not say, “oh,” to her. He would not greet nor pay her any mind. He had better things to do anyway. Somehow, the girl seemed to notice his resolve because from afar, Clyde and she made eye contact. He didn’t bother holding it and just started for the door. He could already tell she was going to be a nuisance.

Tales from the Triverse
Tales from the Triverse is part detective drama, part fantasy adventure and part space opera. I’m influenced by the likes of Iain M Banks, Isaac Asimov and ND Stevenson and work including The Wire and Gotham Central. It begins with an incident two hundred years ago which crashed three parallel universes together. Portals open up in 18th century London, sending England down a very different path. We pick up events in the 1970s, with the Metropolitan Police having established a new department to handle portal-related criminal activity. The story is about intolerance, immigration, multiculturalism and power. It’s about what happens when incompatible viewpoints are weaponised to seed discontent, and the efforts of some to create a fairer world. In the tradition of the best science fiction, fantasy and crime fiction, I’m using the setting to examine themes that matter to me in the real world. Who is it for?If you like science fiction or fantasy, or a mix of both, this is for you. It’s my first foray into crime fiction, but I hope if you’re a fan that you’ll enjoy yourself - especially if you’re looking for something a bit different. I write fiction that is optimistic, progressive and empathetic. Bad things can happen to good people in the stories, but the overall arc tends to be hopeful. Note that if it were a movie, Tales from the Triverse would be a 15 certificate in the UK.

Homeland
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER -- In Cory Doctorow’s wildly successful Little Brother, young Marcus Yallow was arbitrarily detained and brutalized by the government in the wake of a terrorist attack on San Francisco—an experience that led him to become a leader of the whole movement of technologically clued-in teenagers, fighting back against the tyrannical security state.A few years later, California's economy collapses, but Marcus’s hacktivist past lands him a job as webmaster for a crusading politician who promises reform. Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.
