《The Soul of MorningStar》Chapter 39 What I want

I might have gone too far. Pff...Ha ha ha ha. Joking. I stood with a silly smile on my face as Jennifer's body disappeared. It had been weeks since I felt that good. I was still screwed as I didn't know how to get out this game but the peace I felt as I finally vent out my frustration and anger was welcome.
To top it off, there was no one to tell me what I should do. It was paradise.
After Jennifer died, only Felix and that NPC guy were left with me. Earlier, when I flew away from the forest, I activated the map function of the game. The map was just that, a map of the town with the name of the owners of every building. It wasn't interactive like I hoped nor did it showed where the other options where. It was just an all boring map and guess who had a house in town?
Yep, Jennifer. When I went to check it out, you wouldn't imagine how surprised I got when I heard a conversation between her dear colleagues. What happened after that was rather typical for me. I got angry, I threatened, I got answers, the answers pissed me off, I made them pay and I went overboard. Pfft. It happened so many times that it wasn't even funny.
“So guys, what should I do with you?” My voice was calm as the anger I felt disappeared with Jennifer.
Next to me, Abudabi growled wanting to get some actions. Earlier, I didn't let her fight as I spammed God rules and temptation devourer all over town. God rules created illusions. It was the avanced form of Twisted temptation which had received my godly powers. Temptation devourer helped me gained stats. I wanted to make sure that no one would be able to stand in my way.
I did a mix of horror movies with the townspeople's face. Some became zombies, others were seen killing their family and friends with a chainsaw, I even got a policeman going all Dexter on people who broke the law. All were illusions but the people's reactions weren't. They started killing each other left and right. I didn't plan for that as I just wanted to frighten them but as the saying went: beggars can't be choosers.
“So...” As I focused my attention on him, Felix fell down on the ground begging. “Don't worry, I won't hurt you...much.”
They ran screaming. Should I pursue? No, it was better to let them drown in fear expecting me to rush behind them. The wait was going to be torture enough.
Abudabi threw me a begging look. She wanted to pursue but I shook my head, refusing her demand. Now that my head was clearer, I noticed that the symptoms from the zombie disease hadn't flared up again.

I stroked my imaginary beard in thought. When I tried Supreme healing on the zombies in Zombie Apocalypse, nothing happened. The skill didn't work. There wasn't even a second of improvement but now, Abudabi had been fine for hours? Was she healed?
I stared at her trying to find an answer to the question plaguing my mind. She fidgeted under my silent gaze. A smile crept on my face, there was only one solution that I could think of: Abudabi was healed. I did it! I jumped in joy, Abudabi yapping around me.
“Hakubi, Madarao, Amidamaru, Hashimaru come!”
Little ball of lights appeared and flew together to create a bigger light that blinded me. When it disappeared, 4 wolves stood in front of me.
They growled at me. They didn't seem to recognize that I was their master. I remembered how Abudabi had been the same when she first appeared in TownCity.
“Supreme Healing! Supreme Healing! Supreme healing!” I spammed Supreme healing on the wolves before they launched an attack against me.
The effects didn't wait to show themselves. The 4 wolves came to their senses. The foam that dripped from their mouth disappeared. Their crazed expressions calmed down.
As I checked their health, there was really no traces of the disease left. For the second time that day, I jumped in happiness. All my pets were healed!
I hugged them and cried in their fur. A heavy weight that had been on my chest got off. I didn't know why it worked here when it didn't work in Zombie Apocalypse but I was ecstatic!
“Master, can we go play in the forest?” Amidamaru asked me. This damn wolf had no sensivity. It was a great moment in his life but he only thought of playing.
“Yeah, yeah.” I shook my head, giving up on saying what was on my mind. Scolding him for his lack of sensitivity was useless. My pets weren't the sharpest tool in the box.
Left alone, I got to think of the biggest problem I had now: How do I get out of this game?
My mood was excellent and the brilliant idea that I thought of made it even better. It wasn't the most decent and it wouldn't be well-received when I came out of here but I had no choice, after all I was crazy and I wasn't responsible for my actions. Please, note the sarcasm.
I wandered around town waiting to see if Jennifer and the 2 idiots she worked with showed up again. At best I could commit suicide and at worst, I would put my idea into action. Either way, I would get out of here, the sooner the better.
A while later, I spotted Jennifer bent over the rubble of the diner.

“So it was actually true.” I half hoped that the fact that dying wouldn't log you out was false.
“Akira, you have to stop.”
“Stop? Are you really telling me to stop? Ah... Fuck it.” I didn't want to get angry again.
I levitated her body from the ground. I smiled as she struggled uselessly
“Akira, stop! Please.” she begged.
Her pleads got on my nerves and I slammed her body down on the ground.
“I'm curious. Why me? I've never done anything to you nor did I met you before today.” That was one of the questions that plagued me. Did I have 'doormat and idiot' written on my face?
She didn't answer, she just cried some more and begged.
“I-I'm s-sorry.”
I slammed her body over and over on the ground.
“I'm sorry.” She repeated as blood came out of her mouth.
“Supreme healing.” I didn't want her to die, that was the plan I came up with. I kept on slamming her body on the the ground and healing her.
When that didn't work. I cut her body using my Katana, then I threw fireballs at her; then just plain water. I was already sick and tired of this when the window I hoped for appeared in front of me.
Emergency log-out. StaViCon laws have been broken. Authorities have been informed.
“Finally.”
The scenery disappeared around me and I woke up back in Lu Huang Fu's house. A lot of people surrounded me.
I swatted their hands away.
“You're in deep shit!” I screamed at Stephan who stood behind the two people that were clearly a doctor and a nurse. I even saw the lawyer in the room.
“Aki-”
“I got stuck in that fucking game. I couldn't leave and don't forget that it was a fucking experiment to see how NPCs evolved with insane people around. I. AM. NOT. INSANE. They fucking put me in a cage like a dog! Do you know how scared I was when my fucking psychiatrist lied every time she opened her mouth?” If they didn't understand that I was pissed, they would never get it.
“Akira what are you saying?” The lawyer asked.
“What part didn't you understand? The trap? The cage or the lies?” My tone was harsh but I didn't care. I was fed up with people taking me for a doormat.
“Akir-”
“Don't fucking Akira me!” I shouted. “the first psychiatrist you found me was a psycho and the second a pathological liar who trapped me inside a game, do you have any idea what I had to do to get out?” Tears fell on my cheek.
In my heart, I gave myself a high five. First step in the manipulation process accomplished. You could say a lot of things about me: I was rash, easy to anger, I was a brat, I complained a lot, I didn't think often but when I DID think, I was great at it.
And what I needed more than anything right now was dodging the torture accusation pending on my head. First step, threw the blame to someone else. Second, dig that someone else's grave. Third grieve that someone else and send flowers to wish her a great stay in hell. Hey! No one ever said that I couldn't hold grudges.
I cried loudly and kept repeating over and over how scared I had been. Everyone in the room didn't know if they should console me or go out to kill Jennifer. I didn't let them think too much about it.
I jumped from my bed and latched on grandfather. If someone would fall for what I was saying, it would be him. He was crazy about Meifeng and luckily for me, I looked just like her.
“Gra-Grandfather...” my voice trembled like I was weak.
“Don't worry, Akira. I'll protect you, I swear.”
“No more psychiatrist?”
“No more psychiatrist.”
“Can I play my games?” I swore silently. I went too far too fast. Moreover, it was kind of obvious that it was what I was angling for. Lu Huang Fu waited some before answering.
“You... can play your game.”
“Grandfather?!” Stephan was outraged. He might have understood what was happening.
I sniffled loudly in Grandfather's chest.
“You will play your game, I'll make sure of it.”
“Thank you grandfather.” My smile was wobbly. After a while in his arms, I asked softly. “Grandpa, can I play with Jennifer?”
“What?”
“I was mean to her and I want to redeem myself. She made mistakes but I did too.”
“Akira, you don't understand what she did was against the law.” The lawyer piped up. I swore again silently.
“Is it bad that I want to redeem myself?”
After some more tears, puppy dog eyes and complains from the lawyer and Stephan, grandpa let me have my way. They agreed to leave me alone in my room after I let the doctor check me up. With them gone, I did what I wanted to do since I thought of taking advantage of Grandfather's obsession with Meifeng: I face-palmed.
It was too easy to take advantage of him. None of the recent events would have happened if I thought of it before. It would have saved me a lot of pain and tears.
