《Reincarnated as a Troll in a Dark Fantasy World》Troll and The Three Realms: About Time

We leave the garrison and I teleport with Marcy and Helen to the Hill House. Or how Azelius' old house is called these days. We enter the house and Helen collapses. Right now, of the people that abused her in jail, there is nobody alive. I swear that if those guards or anyone had raped her they would be crawling the land as zombies right now. Conscious zombies. For all eternity.
"I'll be right back. {Teleport}!" I go to Barnsley. From here I can use remote senses on Azelius' house. I can't believe this timing. The pendant on Bredda's neck is glowing. And from the number of women around her and the faces on Azelius' and Bertramus' faces...
Teleport back ASAP. I burst back into the Hill House and out of storage come two Lady dresses the Lord's tunic, trousers and overcoat set.
"Put these on and charge it with half your MP pool. Then focus on the color you want." I also dress up.
Marcy goes to check herself on the 'mirror of heaven' and changes color a few times until she settles on a dark leaf green. Helen doesn't understand but makes her a sky blue. Mine is a deep crimson. I'm a redcoat, lolz.
I teleport back to Barnsley and then to the warehouse. I still need two jumps to reach Colchester.
"Is this Colchester?" Helen timidly asks. There is a shine in her eyes, like a child going to a theme park for the first time.
"Yes, ma'am. Something very important is happening right now. Let's go outside, we have little time."
We move across the busy streets of Colchester to Azelius' house. It is very hard not to draw attention to the clothes we are wearing. People point at us and talk. We can't also skulk or run. Let them.
"Will you tell me what is happening?" Helen presses for an answer. We are getting tons of eyes on us from the people on the streets. Some peddlers are tailing us and promoting their wares.
"Can you guess?"
We reach the house and knock. A surprised and worried male faction answers the door.
Helen rushes in to hug her father and brother. "Oh, so good to see you!"
"Why these clothes?" asks Bertramus.
I prop myself a bit and brag.
"We are the lords of Mirfield now. It is only natural for us to dress like this."
"Even though you made these clothes five minutes ago..." snarks Marcy between her teeth.
"Well, don't sweat the small stuff. Here, Marcy, use this alcohol to wash everyone's hands in there. And everyone must use a handkerchief to cover their noses. And your dresses can't get dirty even if you bathe in gore, so you don't need to change." There is little concern about hygiene in this world.
Marcy gives me a deadpan look. "Really?"
"I think we should hurry. Come, Marcy. Let the stupid men alone."
They hurry upstairs but I give more advice.
"And don't forget to spam your cleaning spell! Don't worry about your MP, I designated you as a proxy for my sacrifice aura."
"Stop giggling and shut up, hero!" They yell from upstairs.

The women go do what women do on these occasions, and we men are left behind. I'm giggling?
There is a long awkward silence, and Azelius comes to chat.
"Did you really mean you are now the Baron of Mirfield?"
I laugh, "No."
And father-in-law is relieved, "Oh, it was a joke then."
"I am the Viscount of Mirfield."
Spit takes and a shortened official version of the mad viscount Julius demise sans possession, jail, or monster country duels, I bring Azelius and Bertramus up to date on our adventures and on my rise to power. Better warn the folks back home.
Beowulf: Helen, Marcy and I are in Colchester. It seems Bredda's baby is coming any time. The women are gathered in the room.
Zahariel: You traitor! I don't believe you left me behind!
Mercy: Please don't go. We are short on receptionists, keep filing these papers!
Cloude: Send my regards to old man Azelius, Beowulf!
Alvus: Buy a few hays of barley. We are low on fodder.
Time goes on and they keep pressing for information. I skip some sensitive details or the gory ones.
"You healed a cursed malady, overthrew the mad Viscount and took Mirfield for yourself. Amazing!"
"Yes, but the town is falling apart. Three-fourths of the population left, the guards are with low morale, there is a food shortage. I am supplying monster meat for the people. We are far from getting into a famine, but things are grim."
"Yes, the lands around that town were never too fertile. To think that guild master tried over and over to buy off my daughter to sacrifice her to the land's enrichment..."
"I already ran a poisoned dagger through that bastard, so that is yesterday's news. What we need to worry about is the money shortage. I already spent over fifty gold coins out of my own pocket to keep that town afloat. Too many officials were embezzling funds, but these were already put on the run. Now we need to rebuild."
"Yes, it is hard. Mirfield is a frontier town, one without a specialty product. It is there just to ease the crossing between Whiteridge and Strawford."
"How are business around these parts?"
"Things are slow. There was a heavy influx of treasure hunters because of the dungeon rumors, but the guild hasn't yet opened it for exploration. It is said that some parties that ventured into it never came back. We sold all the honey you left us before the winter festival."
"That dungeon is hard. We faced two blood mantis in the entrance hall right on."
Azelius looks at the red scythe-swords resting on a rack on a side of the living room, "These, right?"
Oh. Great opportunity. Let's introduce some secrets little by little. We have so many that they might blow up anytime if we don't take care.
"That is actually one of the blood mantis. We never killed the other. Helen tamed it. She named him Mittens."
"But Helen is a magician. And the monster tamer is a fictional thing from faerie tale books."
"Not really. I have access to several jobs unavailable at the guild. And Helen has overgrown a simple 'magician'. Regarding the honey, we have lots of it, that is not a problem. By summer Helen will be making her own honey too."

"How is she making honey? Isn't it a product of the dungeon?"
"Yes and no. That magic-rich honey is indeed a product of the dungeon. But when we left the dungeon that time, Helen had tamed nine harmonic bees in addition to Mittens. I had a queen larva, and she hatched it and tamed the queen bee too. We are making a harmonic beehive now. I don't know what quality her honey will be, but I'm looking forward to it. Right now the bees are using all their own honey to expand their hive. We have to wait and see."
"This is bad taste even as a joke. Are you telling me there is a monster beehive in Mirfield?"
"Of course not. The hive is in the second settlement I rule, one east of Mirfield. It is not the time to present the bees to the humans."
Bertramus that was silent until now gives me a glare, "There is nothing east of Mirfield. Just the valley between the dragonspine and dragonclaws. It is a monster country out there! What are you saying, Beowulf?"
I rise a hand and stopped him. "Are you hearing it?" A baby is crying.
"No. What is wrong?"
"Congratulations, Bertamus. You are a father!"
Bertramus hurries up the stairs. Azelius goes for a bottle that was on a corner of the kitchen counter, "I think it is time to open this fancy brandy! My first grandson."
Beowulf: Is it a boy or a girl? I can hear the baby cry.
Helen: It is a girl! It is the most beautiful baby girl I've seen!
Mercy: Congratulations! I'm so happy!
Petal: Beowulf you meanie! You left me behind too!
Alvus: Awesome! My regards to the people that made a safe delivery!
Cloude: I would pay two gold to see Bertramus' face right now!
Shraaizar: Celebrate life! Cherish the living while they live!
Kochurearc: May the new member of Lady Helen's tribe be strong and fertile!
Caramel: A new human larva! How fortuitous!
Zahariel: Beowulf, come pick me up RIGHT NOW! It is a matter of life and death!
Beowulf: Ok. Cloude, Zahariel, Petal, Mercy, gather together now. I'm going to pick you up.
Azelius returns with the bottle
"Granddaughter. It is a girl."
He turns to me, "How do you know?"
"I just asked Helen. I can talk to my party members over a private channel. And by the way, I am going to bring more people to the baby welcome party."
"What? Where are them?"
I begin my chant. "{Dimension Anchor}! They are in Mirfield. Azelius, please leave this area empty." I chant again, "Teleport!"
I go out of the Lord's estate via the window. Using force platforms to jump in the air, I get out and find Cloude, Zahariel, Mercy, Petal and Alvus coming on the main street. I just jump down using air mastery to cushion my fall.
"You all know the drill, hold hands!"
A jump in Barnsley's alley and another straight into father-in-law's living room. I need to move this Barnsley anchor. Someone will spot us one day.
"Whoa! I can't believe!" Azelius shouts when three people, a teen angel, a faerie and a disguised colossus troll pop into his room.
Everyone give their enthusiastic greetings to Azelius. It has been more than half a year since they last saw each other.
Ending with petal swirling around his head, "Hey, you are Helen's papa! Nice to meet you! I'm Petal! Tehe!"
"A fairy? Are my eyes deceiving me? Is this really a fairy?"
"Yes, silly grandpa. I'm the real deal, you know?"
"And is this man before me Zahariel? You were a little tyke just before winter! How can this be?"
I cut in, "His race has these really fast growth spurts. But also some long periods of... dormancy." Like seventy-five centuries of sleep.
Things got really noisy when the women that were assisting in the labor came down.
"Hilde! Congratulations on your girl!" And Mercy goes to hug her long-time friend.
Hilde's jaw hit the ground, "What are all of you doing here? Weren't you in Mirfield?"
I know from when I used remote senses that there is a midwife that was brought in to help with the labor. Since she is an outsider, we should curb these references to our special powers.
"It is a long story, but I brought them here. Just enjoy our party. I have lots of food and drink here."
The house was cramped. I slipped out and went upstairs right before Hilde pounced Zahariel. Helen and Marcy were by the door leading to the room where the baby was with her parents.
Marcy waves at me, "Hey, Beowulf, running away from the party?"
And Helen runs and buries her face in my chest, "I've decided what I want. There is no doubt now."
"What is it?"
"Later. I'll tell you later. Now it is not my turn. Let's enjoy our visit. I'm going downstairs." And she goes, leaving me and Marcy alone.
"She was smiling again. It must be something good. What do you think, Marcy?"
She completely skips the subject. "I think delivering a baby in these dresses was very strange. But I am grateful for the enchantment. Not getting tangled and self-cleaning was freaking awesome."
I sat there on the floor with Marcy for a while. The roaring sound of conversation was coming from below, but right now I needed to stay by her side.
"You are welcome. I know how much you wanted to come. You kept your promise."
She leans on my shoulder, and I feel some dampness on my neck, "Is there anything impossible for you?"
"Yes. A lot of things."
I can't fix my soul's corruption.
I can't return to Earth.
I can't remove the Curse.
I can't resurrect someone.
I can't turn time back.
I can't save and reload.
I can't even fully understand the hearts of the two I care most in this life.
