As you might've seen in the bottom of the novel's description, The cover image is a painting by Swedish artist [John Bauer]

He died on 20 November 1918 and it is his death's Centenary. I find his troll paintings marvelous and will use several of them as inspiration for Grendel's evolutions.

Anyway, I am going to celebrate the painter and illustrator by releasing an entire story arc over the course of a week starting with the 20th. There will be two chapters every day until the arc ends (it is 12 chapters long). It will eat a page of my buffer, but there is little use sitting on that many drafts.

Some new contenders will step out of the shadows and throw the gauntlet straight at Grendel's face, hitting where it hurts more. How will he react?
