《Diary of Erica Kron》Day 117

My time was spent refining Skeletal Rose today, and I think I have an idea for how to speed things up. There are bits and pieces spread throughout the plant that at first glance didn't appear to do anything, but looking at them from a bigger picture they all interact in an interesting way. To put it plainly whoever made this plant took a modified version of Whitefoot and integrated the entire thing into this plant. So definitely not the work of Origin, I'm guessing a dungeon created this, possibly even the dungeon who gave it to me.
Removing this is a good place to start, and if I'm right then it will dramatically reduce the amount of stuff I need to sift through to refine this plant. If I'm wrong then no harm done, I will still have made progress, just less than I thought I had.
I can confirm that removing Whitefoot from the plant makes it a lot more dangerous, speeding up time dramatically for everything inside instead of just things made of flesh. Which tells me that if I were to integrate a different plant there then I might achieve a similar result with something else. Could I subject a mountain to the mercy of time by using Digger Root? I'm pretty sure I can.
This is made even worse by the lack of mana inside the area, it isn't that there is no mana to begin with but rather no more is able to move into it, at least relative to the speed the thing being effected is going at.
That's a little disappointing. It means that I won't be able to make good use of the plant on my own without covering my entire forest in the stuff, I don't have much mana storage relative to my generation. And I definitely can't get enough mana being generated in my forest to pull that off without also murdering nearly every mana based creature in my forest. So ultimately it will not be for me to use, or at least not in a significant way. Still, I am certain that I can get great use out of it.

Other than that I went on a date with Azrezel, only for the two of us too get ambushed by a group of particularly zealous worshippers. I will admit that having people literally throw themselves at your feet is a pleasant experience, though I would have rather had alone time with Azrezel.
Anyway, Good Night Diary.

The Order of Sekhmet
Meet Rowan who may or may not be really enthusiastic about telling you how his life is with the goddess of war. It is naturally far from being peaceful, but the blade-wielding, fourth-wall-breaking protagonist certainly wouldn't have it any other way. Egyptian deities? Check. Sword fights? Check. Demonic arts? Check. Burning passion? Check. After all, blood is a good moisturizer. Please note that I have flagged my content. There is and will be content that may trigger you, particularly if you've been through toxic relationships. While I do my best not to paint these moments in the best light, they exist and are crucial parts of my story. Things are kicked up a notch beginning with chapters named 'The Old World'. Everything before is (nearly) vanilla. Update schedule is every Thursday/Friday, varying times!

Despondent Divinity
There exists a Great Seal which split the world in two, one half ravaged by the Darkness, the other a safe haven of Light. Since the collapse of the old world, 20,000 years have passed, and the world watches on as their only protection from the Plague of Plagues slowly dissipates. Only the strong may survive the oncoming Demon horde, and the forgotten prince, Jack Calmira, fears he may not have what it takes. In a world where weakness is punished by death, what are weak men to do? Author's Note: Expect a chapter or two every month, but I'll get faster eventually. This story isn't a Wuxia, but it has a lot of eastern influence. The MC isn't OP and is flawed. Less action, more character driven. Constructive criticism would be appreciated as it's my first story. Chinese culture has inspired a lot of the novel, but much of it is an amalgamation of different cultures, some made up and some not. Think Xianxia + Shounen with a mix of western and eastern fantasy elements.
