《Diary of Erica Kron》Day 11

It was easy enough to find a dungeon willing to teach me about the soul, it is apparently a fairly standard request as dungeons mature and gain the ability to perceive it. Unfortunately being able to pinpoint the exact anchor point of a particular soul is a lot more difficult than I would have thought.
I did learn a number of exercises and training methods designed to improve the rate at which my soul naturally recovers from splitting a chunk off, apparently that is standard practice as most young dungeons gain the ability to perceive the soul long before they have a large enough population to sustain the process of seeding new creatures required for expansion. It apparently will also make it easier to perceive details about the soul, and the anchor point is a very small detail.
When I finally got around to asking how long it would take to be able to perceive something like that properly using this method the teacher I had hired said two to three weeks. Considering I might be dead in two to three days this isn't very helpful. I probably should have explained my circumstances a bit better when I hired him. The dungeon had no idea how to help me with my issues but did believe that something like that might be possible. And so now I have to find a different teacher, though I will likely continue with those exercises as they should help even if I die. No reason not too after all.
Considering the fact that looking for a teacher did not take much in the way of active effort on my part I had plenty of time to teach my apprentices and hang out with everyone. We talked and reminisce about the past. I wish my dad hadn't shared so many embarrassing stories about me as a baby, but overall it was a pleasant experience. No one broke down into tears more than twice.

Par wasn't able to make it, apparently he is pinned down by some pretty heavy hitters that the angelic council finally decided to let off the leash. His soldiers will be wiped out if they try to return home now. But he was able to get some messages to us, notably one involving Willow. Apparently she was seen in one of the angelic council's cities helping civilians flee during a raid by Par's soldiers. Her and her party are doing very well by appearances, they are very well equipped and seem to be very skilled. And I miss her, I would love to see her again but if it turns out I'm dying that won't happen. Something about worrying about your own death makes you nostalgic.
I miss Thes and Mest too, they were some of the first people outside of my family I ever got to know. I miss Bug, he was a good man. I even miss Whisperer, despite how creepy he was. Erica Hornmark as well, it was fun to watch her grow.
Now I feel kinda sad
It seems like there is someone who might be able to help me with my problem, I should probably check that out.
Anyway, Good Night Diary.

Magriculture (Rewrite)
When Aurum Industries announced the first Full Immersion Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (FIVRMMORPG if you're hip) Limitless Online, most people saw it as an opportunity to live out their sword and sorcery fantasies. John, however, saw it as the opening of a new and as of yet uncrowded job market. One he was willing, and eager, to exploit. Determined to make money through virtual hard work and effort, John sets his sights not on the heights of magic or the perfection of the sword, but instead upon the tilling of the soil and the sowing of seeds as he explores the wide and wonderful world of magical agriculture all from the comfort of his own bed. Disclaimer: This is a rewrite of the original "Magriculture", which some of you may have read. (To those who did, you have my deepest gratitude, it is absolutely because of your patronage and comments that this rewrite happened, and I feel the story is better for it.) That said, this story is not a complete and polished work, there will be mistakes and errors, an occasionally these errors may mean I need to rewrite portions of the story (as of this posting the story has gone through two major rewrites already, and I'm seriously hoping there won't be need of a third.) Because of this, there may at times be changes. Such changes may be as small as editing a few numbers (such as going back and changing how much mana an object holds) or it may force me to re-write entire chapters (this has happened once already, and I'm really hoping it doesn't happen again, but... life). Minor re-writes will probably never be posted here. Major rewrites probably will. Anyway, what this boils down to is: If you're looking for a fully cohesive story with few to no errors and publisher level editing, this is not the story for you. If you're looking for a cohesive plot that's more than "Man farms, man farms, man farms well, man maybe makes money" you're probably also in the wrong place, but I will attempt to entertain you anyway.
