《Diary of Erica Kron》Day 193

Today Tiddol and I presented our creations to the people that are in charge of that stuff. They approved of most of them, but there were a couple that would just be useless outside of extreme edge cases and so would be a waste of time. The most noteworthy of these is the one that causes the user to be wrapped up in vines.
Tiddol got to work refining the alchemical solutions. I was constantly providing her the freshest and highest quality stuff I possibly could, to the point of using excess mana to make it even higher quality than it normally is. Using the best possible quality ingredients to refine the potions means she is making rapid progress. She started learning alchemy a little over a year ago, but thanks to her natural talent and me supplying her basically whatever ingredient she could need she has made rapid progress, even without a teacher.
I spent the day refining the plants I didn’t expect to need for this project, and I perfected the few that I hadn't already, with the exception of Spellwood. Spellwood is much more complicated than any of the others that I hadn’t yet perfected and would take at least three days to perfect, and it isn’t really necessary.
Tomorrow I will work on refining the gear that won’t take much to perfect, which is most of them. After I have something perfected it doesn’t take much mental effort to mass produce it, but it does take quite a bit of mana, so the opposite of what it takes to refine it. It makes it easy for me because it allows me to mass produce the ones I finish while refining others.
After I am done with the ones that won’t require much effort I have to work on the ones that will require quite a bit of effort, mostly the ones that use Portweed. Teleportation is seriously complicated, I know how to use plants well, I don’t know how to use teleportation well. I never would have been able to make Portweed on my own, or at least not without an amount of work I wouldn’t have been willing to put into it, or maybe some outside help.

Speaking of, I do have enough credits with the terminal to maybe buy a new plant, the question is which one? I know I could definitely make new plant using what I already have, but that is pretty boring compared to other things I could be doing instead, so I would rather just buy it. There was one plant that supposedly manipulates time, and I really wanted it, but it would take about a hundred years for me to actually afford it with how much I make from selling the method of creating Ents, plus that is something dungeons are able to do anyway after it gets old enough.
Maybe I should get something relating to water? Probably not fire as it wouldn’t take much effort to turn Blastbark into something related to fire, but maybe cold or ice? Maybe I could get one that is less general, not so much a concept it control but rather a specific thing it does. There are many of those, but which one to pick? I want all of them, but I only have the money for one, maybe two. I’ll think about it, maybe I will come to a decision by tomorrow?
Azrezel figured out a way to effectively double the mental power of his undead today, of course, the undead quickly dies for no currently known reason. Seriously, it’s like its soul just spontaneously decides to leave the body, I can’t find a good reason for it to die and nothing either of us has done has slowed it down. The good news is that the body is still suitable for necromancy after it dies from that, but the problem doesn’t go away.
Other than that not a lot of note happened today.
Anyway, Good Night Diary.

Across the Realms [Dropped]
Disclaimer: I'll leave this on here for anyone to read. The last time I uploaded a chapter was nearly a year ago, and to all the readers who still kept their trust in me after I came back from my umpteenth hiatus, I am sorry. I will not carry on writing this; I started off without the correct foundations of a novel, nor commitment to fully finish it and I do not want to lie to you all once again. Maybe one day, I may decide to re-write the novel, with a new basis or at least a comprehensive starting point with many of the narrative errors cleared up; but, till then, this is goodbye. And, once again, thank you for the motivation you gave me. Even now, I see many emails come through with people commenting. Goodbye. A child blessed by the Astral. An unprecedented destiny. Watch his path, as he marches up the stairway of Heaven. A March of a Sovereign. [Adventure, Wuxia, Martial Arts, Fantasy] This is a Qihuan novel; it has eastern and western fantasy elements. More often than not in Xianxia or Xuanhuan there is a severe lack of character development, being a western writer I'm changing that. My characters, from my totally unbiased view, feel fleshed out and actually have emotions. This is my first attempt at a novel, I'm writing as a means to better convey my thoughts. I will, hopefully, steadily improve chapter-by-chapter. I'm very open to feedback and constructive criticism. As one can see this is a cultivation novel, so you know how this goes. I've decided to jump-start the whole rags-to-riches scenario. He is strong from the start and is given the utility to do so. *The cover art is not my own, all rights reserved to the owner. I will take it down if necessary. *The style of the recent chapters is comparatively different than Chapter 1.

Cole wasn’t expecting to be threatened with decapitation the morning before his high school graduation, but alas, The Tower was practically meant to train humans to slay demons like him. Even if his new reality was bleak, Cole didn’t intend to idly adhere to it. There were four tiers to clear The Tower, but could Cole trust his new companion to guide him through them? Could he really make it to the top with essentially everyone trying to kill him? Even if he could, would he be able to survive the world that awaited him beyond The Tower’s walls? Cover by Jack0fheart Certain tags won't fully manifest until later in the series, so that's something to keep in mind. This is my first novel, so go a little easy on me. Unknown Fate's End
The ancient's believed that a man's fate or destiny is written already, and that only God or maybe the Gods could change it. If they did change it, it was believed it was for a purpose unknown to that man or for maybe for the ammusement of those higher beings. However, whether that is true or not, one thing is for certain. Changing a man's fate will create a ripple of changes. Join our hero, who whether by luck, by some divine intervention, or by his own choice, separated from the fate that he shared with his fellow earthlings. Watch him struggle in his new world. Watch him grow. Watch him learn. Watch him walk a path oustside what destiny has for him. FYI: The magic concept in this story is high fantasy with involvement of polytheistic religions and demons. There will be a mix of GameLit style writing mixed with traditional magic novel style writing. The plot developement will be slow in the first volume, as I will focus on world building and character building. The main character will not be OP immediately and will develop into one in his own way over time. This series is built less like modern Japanese, Korean, and Chinese webnovels and more like the old school fanstasy novels like DND and Forgotten Realms.
