The sun sank lower in the sky within the first floor of the Great Tower, and the light of day was being drained away, giving way to the velvety dark of night.

At this moment, Shad and his group were getting closer to the exit or the entrance of the second floor with each passing moment. On the way, they' ve encountered many magical beasts. However, as they were all rank one magical beasts and had come in a small number as well, they were easily killed by Shad and his group due to their superior number and their tactics.

" How long till we make it to the entrance of the second floor." Suddenly asked Vivi who was carrying Little blue with an impatient look on her face.

It's been a whole day since they've been venturing within the first floor of the Great Tower looking for the entrance of the second floor with Little Blue, and they still haven't made it there yet.

Not only Viviana, but even Shad and the others started to doubt Little blue's words. Some of them even began to think that Little blue was lying all along and might be leading them into a trap.

" Don't be so impatient after we've come this far, the entrance is only half an hour away." Answered Little blue annoying look on her face.

Little Blue really regretted messing with this little devil. She looked so quiet and cute, it thought that she was an easy target, but who have thought that she was a wolf in a sheep clothing.

After traveling with them for a whole day and talking to them, Little Blue realized how unlucky she was. From the five them, Mina was the only timid and shy one. Other than that, they were all devils in their own way.

" Little cat, if I found out that you were lying to me and had something else in mind, I don't even have to remind you of the consequences," Said Vivi as she was softly patting little blue's head with a devilish smile on her face.

Seeing that evil smile on Vivi's face, Little Blue gulped a mouthful of saliva as she shook her head. she was the descendant of the legendary Lightning Devour Wolf Clan and also a peak 8th rank magical beast that had the power to crush all of them, except for that little Freak known as Shad who seemed as though there was an ancient powerful beast sleeping within his body, yet she was being treated like a small pet and she was even called a little cat by a puny human girl.

If it wasn't for the fact that her power was being suppressed by the Tower, and also the fact that the lightning power within that human boy was very useful to her, she would have shown them whose the boss a long time ago.

" She looked so cute when she's afraid," Mina blinked her beautiful bright eyes as she was looking at Little Blue. Compared the huge beastly wolf form of Little Blue, She felt no fear when facing the small little blue who was in a tiny form and looked more like a small harmless cat.

Throughout the Journey, Nina was cold as always and barely talked to even her sister Mina. As for Monalisa, she looked very serious once she had entered the Tower because she knew how dangerous this place was and how important that mission was for her young master.

Looking at the distressed look on Little blue's face who was looking at him with a pleading look on her face, as though she was begging him to take her away from his big sister, Shad could only smile at her misfortune. This cunning Little Blue had finally met its match.

As they were getting closer to the entrance of the second floor, they suddenly heard a powerful loud roar that sounded out within the woods ahead of them.

" We've been discovered." Shouted Little blue.

Not even a second has passed after saying that, two grey wolves the size of a tiger were slowly advancing towards them. They each had one red horn embedded on their foreheads. Their bloodthirsty eyes were looking and scanning through Shad and his group as they were advancing.

When the two Greys Horned Wolves appeared, the faces of everyone became ashen, their eyes were showing their extreme fear and uneasiness. They were all in despair because they knew that Wolf never appeared alone and always comes in packs, which means there were probably more coming their way.

The Grey Horned Wolves loved to eat human flesh. Upon encountering humans, they would definitely not let them pass considering how much they especially relished fresh human flesh.

" We are completely surrounded," Shad said as his face suddenly changed color.

He had already discovered various grey wolves with red horns in the nearby area that were running extremely fast towards their location through his spiritual force.

As they quietly despaired, one grey wolf after another slowly emerged. As more grey wolves appeared, their morale fell lower and lower as they became increasingly more terrified and fearful.

Even though the grey wolves were Rank One Beasts, they were still able to contend against even a 2nd rank warrior due to their strong bodies. Within the first floor of the Tower, they had their cultivation base suppressed to the 1st rank mage or warrior by the Tower. If they had to fight one on one, perhaps none of them would be an opponent for a Grey Wolf.

And currently, a total of fifty Grey Wolves had appeared in front of them, and they were still coming.

How could they not despair in such a situation?

Out of everyone here, the only person to not feel despair after seeing the Grey Wolves was Shad! Unlike the others, his cultivation was the same as always.

The loud howl of a wolf sounded, and another twenty powerful Grey Horned Wolves suddenly rushed over. They were extremely fast and in less than a few seconds, they've already surrounded them.

Upon seeing the shockingly fast pace of the Grey Wolves, the people who had originally believed that there was still a sliver of hope to escape had it completely crushed to pieces.

" Was this your plan all along Little Blue, bringing us into your cat friends' nest," Vivi said with a hint of killing intent in her eyes.

" How dared you compare Lord little blue with this pack of lowly wolves, I am a descendant of a divine beast and these bastards over there ain't shit compared to me. The only reason those bastards are here is that they are guarding the entrance that leads to the second floor which is not too far from here, only by killing them or by bypassing them could you get to the entrance." Little Blue was so mad when she heard Viviana's accusation that her mouth slipped and revealed a secret about her origin that she shouldn't, especially to a human.

However, Shad and his group were so focused on more than a hundred wolves that suddenly appeared on each side of the forest and encircled them that they didn't hear little Blue's secret.

" Everyone gathers here, lean against one another and formed a circle." Shad quickly said as the Lightning Corps and Gomez's group tightly formed a circle in order to defend against the all-around encirclement of the wolves.

Amidst the eyes of despair, fear, doubt, and surprise, Shad slowly walked to the front of the formation. Facing the attacking pack of the Grey Horned Wolves,

Before, the Grey Horned Wolves were quite far away from the group, but now, after their savage charge, they were already close within reach!

One of the Grey Horned Wolves suddenly charged directly at Shad; the light in its eyes was incredibly fierce as it charged abruptly after a long howl. The sinister light shining in the eyes of the Wolf was terrifying to the point where it made a sudden chill to run down in everyone's spines.

However, before it could even get close to Shad, his body moved at an inconceivable speed as he suddenly disappeared from his initial position and appeared right in front of the grey horned wolf.

In a blink of an eye, Shad lifted his right leg and threw out a heavy kick which landed on the grey's wolf abdomen.

Bang!

Just this single kick had the weight of over four hundred pounds behind it.

Under this one kick, the grey horned wolf didn't even have the time to utter a single miserable wail as its body was sent flying like a sand sandbag into the woods. It then smashed into an old tree. With a clacking noise, the old tree was broken apart.

The Grey Horned Wolf just laid there lifelessly underneath the broken tree with its entire body looking intact. Blood was flowing out its mouth like a fountain. Even though it looked ok from the outside, everything inside of its body has been pulverized by the shock and force generated by Shad's powerful kick, whether it was its bones or organs.

" You guys only need to worry about the ones in the back, I will take care of the ones in the front," Shad said in cold tone as his body suddenly disappeared again from his initial position.
