It was already late at night and the light of the full moon poured down from the sky, lighting up the whole Dark Forest from pitch black to charcoal grey.

It's been more than half an hour since Shad had left with the man known as Dragon Eye to the meeting of the Seven Novas, and they still haven't made it to the location yet.

Inside the forest, as Shad was following Dragon Eye, he only heard the chirping of the birds, he basically didn't find any trace of magical beasts throughout the way. Shad knew that this was because the other Six Novas had banded together and completely drove out all the nearby magical beasts.

At this moment, Shad was climbing a tall mountain peak along with Dragon Eye. According to him, the meeting's taking place on the summit of this mountain which was at least half an hour away from the resting place.

" The gathering of the Seven Novas. Heh, I am curious to find out just how powerful the elite younger generation members of the Egul Continent are."

Shad's eyes were feverish. Though he came from a powerful background, he had managed to obtain all of his abilities and strength through perseverance, hard work and a little bit of luck. Even though he might that be the strongest person in the Egul Continent, he was still pretty strong. Therefore, he was not afraid or feared any of the so-called Novas.

Nonetheless, inside his heart, he did not dare to underestimate any of them. They all could be considered as little overlords of the Egul Continent. Not only they were the strongest of the younger generations, but they also came from powerful backgrounds.

" We are almost there your highness." Said Dragon eye was as they were getting closer to the summit of the mountain.

" Hum," Shad said as he nodded his head.

Shad wasn't afraid if this meeting was just a pretext to ambush him or not. After he had found another way to use the lightning energy within his infinite space and increased his speed by almost twofold, Shad had become more confident in his ability to protect himself.

With his incredibly fast speed that was just like lightning strike or the shooting star, Shad was not afraid of anybody. Even though he might not be able to defeat or kill an 8th rank or 9th rank experts, they wouldn't be able to do anything to him either. If he wanted to run, there's no one that could stop him.

Because of that, Shad was so daring to follow Dragon Eye within the deepest part of the Dark Forest to the meeting of the Seven Novas. Furthermore, he was always on a high alert. His strong spiritual force was constantly scanning the area to check whether there was an ambush.

After a few more minutes, Shad finally made it the summit of the mountain.

Though this was the first time that all the Seven Novas ever got together, one might expect that it would be something grandiose and spectacular. However, it was not the case.

As soon as Shad ascended on the summit of the mountain, he only saw six people gathered on top of it. All of them were extremely young in appearances and they all looked extremely formidable and emitted auras that caused one's heart to palpitate.

Shad was marveled by this sightas well. The scene of the six strongest younger generations gathered together in one spot was rather magnificent indeed. Even though the meeting spot was very simple, it still gave one an extremely strong visual impact seeing these six young people together.

However, what caught Shad's attention the most was a young man that stood by himself, a little further away from the rest. This young man had a tall figure and was very muscular. His aura was so formidable that it towered above the rest of the people on the mountain.

He was dressed in a magnificent blue imperial robe, his long hair swayed in the wind, giving him an elegant and unconventional look. Both of his hands were behind his back, in addition to his stunning facial features, his energy was brutal, violent and monstrously strong which led one to understood that he was more than just a pretty face.

His brutal and violent magic power gave Shad the feeling that there was only room for him in this world, and everybody else didn't have the right to exist.

This young man looked extremely majestic and domineering as he stood alone in the summit of the mountain, away from the rest. Because of his strong spiritual force and keen senses, Shad could clearly feel how powerful this young man was. It was the first time that Shad felt a sense of crisis or danger when looking at someone in the younger generations. However, that same feeling disappeared as fast as it appeared.

As though he could feel someone was looking at him, the young man lifted his head and looked over the direction where Shad just appeared.

As soon as their gazes met, it was like two heavenly swords that cut through the dark sky and met.

The young man's gaze brought with it the type of pressure from one with the ultimate position of power. His gaze was very sharp, arrogant, and wild like the king of wolves in the dark forest. His eyes were filled with ruthlessness.

Under his gaze, the living things in the world were like ants to be killed without a care. His eyes gave off the feeling as though he was a supreme ruler overlooking the world.

However, Shad's gaze was rather peaceful and calm like the quiet surface of a pond. He looked as if the dreadful young man in front him was no different from a random person walking on the streets. There wasn't any trace of ruthlessness or hatred in his eyes. His body was not giving off any strong magic power either. He looked as though he was just a weak mortal or a harmless scholar.

However, the young man felt as though he was completely exposed under his gaze. Especially his right crimson eye, it was as though it had the ability to peer through his soul and all of his secrets and thoughts were laid bare in front of him. It was as if his right crimson eye was an all-seeing eye and nothing could escape it. And this kind of feeling shocked and terrified the young man to the core.

Though this eye contact was just a brief one, it had a lasting impression on both of them.

' This guy is scarier than I thought.' Thought the young man as he was looking at Shad with a strong unmasked killing intent in his eyes before he shifted his gaze to Dragon eye who suddenly left without saying a word.

" Shad my friend, I am glad that you can make it." A voice came about during this tense brief moment.

Soon, a young man quickly walked toward Shad with a bright smile on his face.

" Klaus," Shad quickly answered with a surprised expression on his face as he was looking at the young man coming his way. This young man was none other the 3rd imperial prince of the Nicholas Empire, Nicholas Klaus.

Klaus revealed a smile as bright as the sun, capable of illuminating everyone's hearts. The look on his eyes made him feel like he was a very trustworthy and upright individual.

" I am sorry for making you come all the way in this part of the forest without any guards, especially in the middle of the night. It's just like there are many people from the Eye among the people that are currently in the resting place spying on us. I didn't want them to be aware of our meeting, as such, I had to take some precautions." He continued.

Klaus spoke in such a friendly manner that it made them seem like friends that haven't met in a long time. No one could have thought that these two people had become irreconcilable enemies not too long ago. Even Shad was caught off guard by this sudden development or Klaus's attitude towards him.

" Shad my friend, come. Let me introduce you to the rest of the people here." He said with a friendly smile on his face.

The way that Klaus was talking him gave Shad goosebumps. This young man was trying so hard to kill him and even sent his own troops and bandits to turn the Southern region of the Mulan Kingdom into hell, a place that was under his jurisdiction and protection just to assault him or make him lose face. Yet, he was acting as though they were best friends.

He had to admit, Klaus was really a cunning old fox. He was talking to him with such sincerity that even Shad was a little bit confused whether this was the same young man that was trying to kill him and even sent people after him. Anyone would found it hard to suspect him due to his attitude.

Of course, Shad was not going to fall for his sweet friendly talk. He simply sneered in his mind while looking at him.

" Sure, thank you." Answered Shad with a friendly smile as well.

Even though he had the urge to just strangle this little bastard in front of him or turned him into ash with his red lightning bolt, he still kept his cool and pretended to be on good term with him as well.

" This is Bartolo Andre, the 2nd imperial prince of the Bartolo Empire." He said as he walked towards a muscular young man with a long heavy sword on his shoulder.

" Nice to meet you," Shad said as he stared at the black-clothed teenager who was standing in front of him. Awe flashed across his eyes because he could a feel a strange wild powerful aura from that youth.

" I've never expected that I would meet the legendary imperial freak so soon. I've heard so much about you, would you like to spar with me." Said the young man with his eye filled battle intents.

Upon hearing the young man silly tone, the corners of Shad's eyes could not help but twitch. As soon as he saw this young man, he knew that this was a person who was addicted to fighting. Yet, he did not expect that after they just met, the former would immediately ask for a fight.

" Calm down Berserker, we are here for an important meeting not to fight. Why don't you save your strength and your stamina for the magical beasts that are hiding in the endless mist." Klaus said as he took shad away to meet the others.

Klaus acted as if he was thinking for Shad. No one would think that these two were mortal enemies.

" This one is Anderson, the heir of the Regal family from the Bartolo Empire. And that's the 3rd imperial prince of the Draco Empire, Baal. "

" This beautiful young lady is Florence from the Bartolo Empire."

" Nice to meet you," Shad said as he was looking at the young lady in front of him. This girl before him was truly beautiful. She was on the same level as Monalisa and the other girls.

Her hair was like a waterfall, soft and elegant. Her eyes were bright as pearls. It was as though they could shine in the dark. Her figure could describe as perfect due to its slim size and gracefulness.

" It's a pleasure to meet you." She answered in a soft and melodious tone with a big coquettish smile on her face that was capable of enchanting any man.

From the first glance, Shad could tell that this girl was a femme fatale. Furthermore, she looked as though she was using some sort of bewitching skill as she was looking at him.

" Wow, it's the first time that I've seen such a bright simile on your face Florence." Teased Klaus as he was looking at the beauty in front of him with a surprised look on his face.

" Maybe because it's the first time I've ever met someone that could pick my interest to that extent ." She chuckled while staring at Shad in a bold and direct fashion with her big shiny eyes before she answered Klaus.

Shad was little surprise by this girl bold attitude. She was like a beautiful temptress capable of driving countless men insane.

" Hehehe, I guess the legendary Uncrowned Emperor will finally have a competitor from now on," Klaus said as he was looking at the other young man with a cunning smile on his face.

" Shad my friend, this is Drake, also known as the Uncrowned Emperor, the Crown prince of the Draco Empire." Klaus continued as he pointed at the young man, not too far away from them.

Both of them only looked at each for a brief moment without saying anything. Shad was calm as always, however, Drake had vicious look on his face as he was looking at him. His expression seemed like that of a ravenous wolf that had fixed its eyes on its prey.

" Well, now that we are all here. Let's get down to business." Klaus said with a serious expression on his face this time.
