" We've finally arrived." Suddenly, Shad stopped moving and raised his head to look at the majestic Great Tower into the distance and the huge flattened area in front of him that was filled with people, and his voice revealed a trace of excitement and happiness.

The spirits of the others were refreshed when they heard this, and then they raised their heads to look into the distance as well.

Their group had traveled in the Dark Forest days and nights, and they've experienced countless dangers before arriving in this resting place which was not too far away from the mysterious Great Tower.

Even though they've made it that far and was pretty close to the Great Tower, they knew that it was just the beginning. Things will get more complicated and dangerous from now on. The Dangers that they've faced while coming here were nothing compared to the dangers they'll face in that Tower.

Nonetheless, there wasn't a trace of fear in their eyes. Instead, their eyes were filled with curiosity, wonder, and excitement.

" Let's go look for a place around this area to set up camp before we leave for the Tower," Shad spoke to the Lightning Corps behind him as they moved forward where the group of people has gathered.

At this moment, the sun was already dipping behind the horizon, but the daylight still lingered in the air as though it was accidentally left behind.

The appearance of Shad and the Lightning Corps had drawn the attention of the experts of the various empires, kingdoms and noble families that were present here. However, not a single person came to accost them.

And it wasn't because they could detect that this group had four 6th rank experts among them, there were many 6th ranks and 7th ranks experts in the area as well and they were way more powerful than the four of them, however, they were afraid because of the young man that was leading the group and the crest that was in their robes which were the crest of the imperial family of the Djage Empire.

" I've never thought I would actually encounter his highness the 4th Imperial prince of the Djage Empire in such a dangerous and desolate place such as the Dark Forest with only a hundred guards by his side. You are truly brave indeed" Right at this moment, while Shad was strolling within the area with the lightning Corps, a voice came about.

The entire crowd was in a commotion when they heard this, and they seemed to recognize the owner of this voice as well, causing them to move aside successively and open up a path.

After that, the figure of a young man accompanied by more than a hundred men appeared within Shad's field of vision. Even though the young man in the lead had a nice smile on his face while he was approaching Shad and his group, there's a deep hatred and killing intent in his eyes that he couldn't hide.

Seeing this young man that was walking towards him, the corners of Shad's mouth couldn't help but curl into a spurious smile as he said." Oh My! If it isn't the runaway prince of the Mulan Kingdom, Hegel."

Yep, this young man was none other than Hegel, the 2nd prince of the Mulan Kingdom and the mastermind behind the assination attempt on Shad's life in the Royal Capital of the Mulan Kingdom. After he'd escape that night, Shad had never heard anything about him and didn't him bother to look for him. But who would have thought that he was in this place as well and even took the initiative to look for Shad on his own accord.

Listening to Shad's blatant comments, Hegel could only smile as a killing intent was unconsciously aroused in his heart. He really hated that man with every fiber of his being. If it wasn't for him , he would have been the one to succeed the throne of the Mulan Kingdom. And all of his efforts and his mother's family long schemes wouldn't have gone down to the drain. However, now it's not the time to act. He has a mission to accomplish. Not to mention the 4th imperial prince has gotten more powerful since the last time he saw him.

" It seemed like his highness the 4th imperial prince has a sense of humor as well," He answered with a forcing smile on his face.

" I know that we have had our differences in the past. However today I didn't come here for myself, but on behalf of my cousin, the 3rd imperial prince of the Nicholas Empire, to invite you to attend the meeting of the 7th Novas to discuss a temporary alliance in order to cross the endless mist that surrounded the Great Tower." He continued.

In the information given by his great-grandfather, the great Tower was indeed surrounded by endless mist. The endless mist was so thick that it was very difficult to see not even twenty meters ahead even if it was daytime. Aside from that, there were plenty of high-level magical beasts that were hiding within the endless mist, waiting to ambush and devour anyone that tries to enter the Tower.

Most people that traveled to the Great Tower didn't even make it there as they've died within that endless without even knowing how they've died or the attackers. It was the perfect place to ambush somebody or to commit a perfect murder.

In all, the endless mist that surrounded the Great Tower was the most dangerous place within the Dark Forest as it was the dwelling and the holy land of many high-level magical beasts.

" I see. When is that meeting.?" Asked Shad with a curious smile on his face. He really wanted to meet the so-call 7 Novas to see how powerful they were.

Furthermore, it was really dangerous to cross the endless mist by himself along with the hundred Lightning Corps. The more people they have, the safer it would be.

As for Hegel, he hasn't forgotten about him. He's just waiting for the perfect time and place to kill him, such as the endless mist or the Great Tower. Right now, he didn't want to attract some unnecessary troubles to himself before he got the grip of the situation in this resting place and what kind of people were in there or going to the Tower, and how powerful they were. He has to check out his competitions.

" It'll start an hour," Hegel answered.

"Ok. I'll look for a place to settle than I'll take a look at that meeting." Shad answered before he left with his troops without paying any more attention to Hegel as though he was no different from a random person walking on the streets.

Hegel had an ugly expression on his face as he was looking at Shad's back. Shad gave him the expression as though his existence meant no threat to him as though he could kill him whenever he wishes. When Shad was talking to him, there was no hint of hatred in his eyes despite the fact that he tried to kill him back when he was still the 2nd prince of the Mulan Kingdom, instead, there was a trace of disdain that arose on the corners of his mouth. His expression seemed like that of a ravenous wolf that was looking at its next meal, and it caused a dread to creep over him like an icy chill.
