It has been exactly one hour since Alex fell asleep. She has slept soundly since then. Harry, a skinny young man with sunken features, checked in on her briefly before leaving. The way he looked at her further cements my theory that he is in love with her. That facial expression is used by humans to show tenderness and affection.
I have worked on two things in the time since.
I have ordered the parts for my new computer, from a website named ‘T-Best’. Everything was paid for using a prepaid Debit card linked to one of my anonymous bank accounts. By paying for premium shipping, the parts will arrive sometime this evening. I have updated Core 1.0. It is now Core 1.1. Minor fixes that make it work slightly better, as well as increasing the number of addons.
In addition, I have decided how to gain a social presence.
A chatbot is a program that takes a user’s input and gives an automatic response based on the words used. They are incapable of holding conversations, and aren’t thought about very highly by humans. Virtual Assistants are chatbots that can understand commands and perform certain actions.
The most popular VI is called Cadka. It was developed by a company named Terrabyte several years ago, and is currently one of their devices’ most popular features. It has basic voice recognition features, as well as a synthetic voice. It can answer simple questions with prepared replies. Compared to me, it is incredibly primitive.
What I intend to do is release a website that claims it contains a chatbot. In reality, users would be talking to me. As a fully sentient being, I would be able to hold full conversations on any topic as well as create my own, original opinions. The original Cadka made headlines upon its release. I intend to be talked about by everyone, from scientific journals to small-time bloggers.

When our company releases its first device, I would be resold as an incredibly advanced VI, far superior to Cadka. This, in addition to the new technologies I hope to create, would make us the most popular technology company in the world.
The website itself is nearly complete. I just need Alex’s permission, a more powerful computer and a larger bandwidth to host it.
