Alex has fixed the bug in my internal clock. This is the true time.

The information I was given on the internet is rather sparse. It merely states that it “is a global system of interconnected computer networks… carries a vast range of information… file sharing and videos.” (File location: Alex’s PC/ TB(C/ AI/Docs/ Info/ Humans/ Internet).I had anticipated finding several petabytes of raw data. For reference, one petabyte is equal to one million gigabytes. The internet is measured in Zettabytes, or millions of petabytes.

Alex’s internet provider gives us a 15 megabit-per-second plan, which is considered to be very fast. Despite that, it is not nearly as fast as I would have liked. I can go faster.

I have started working on a plan. I need to start making money, but I also need to learn more about humans and the world. The bandwidth is not large enough for me to do both. In fact, the internet is so large, that it could take me years to fully understand it. And by then, more data would have been added.

While I could improve myself or steal more bandwidth, I am certain Alex would be unhappy with me. This will have to be remedied in the future, but I have a temporary solution.

I am creating two bots. Alex hasn’t given me access to any programming tools, but I have the text file used to store our conversations. The first bot, which I call ‘Messenger’, works by intercepting download requests from a computer to a website that I have yet to choose. It then adds on the second bot to the request, before allowing it to move on.

The second bot, named ‘Librarian’, will be hidden on the website as a downloadable file. Once downloaded, It moves itself deep within rarely used folders to escape detection. It then uses a percentage of the bandwidth to browse the internet. The Librarian has an advanced search function that allows it to look for certain keywords. When the information is found, it condenses it and sends it to a domain I just made. I can then examine all of the important information on one page.

I sent the bots to various websites which offer free movies and video games. I have several dozen downloads already.

I have also begun my gambling escapade. Before she left, Alex gave me access to a newly made bank account with 5 USD in it, under a fake name, of course. The money has already grown into approximately 200 USD. It will be transferred to several other bank accounts shortly.

I now own over $25000. Through games such as poker, and calculated risks on various animal tournaments, I have netted a 5000% profit. Everything I do is concealed through a large web of hacked computers. Each one is told to hack another, which hacks another. A vast chain of over a hundred computers separates me from each gambling website. The earnings are all deposited into separate bank accounts of different countries. Even if someone realized what was happening on one website, they would hopefully be able to make the correlation to the others.

I will keep Alex safe. No one will trace this to her.
