Arn felt power and alertness fill him like a rising tide, and immediately saw the warg off to his right laying down casually chewing on … something that didn’t bear thinking about. As if in slow motion, the warg shifted its gaze to Arn and rose to its feet. It was beginning to occur to the warg that something was very wrong, but nothing that couldn’t be solved by biting surely! Arn started to get up and rose to one knee with a measure of grace and swiftness he had never known, but the warg was quicker still, closing the distance with leap slamming into Arn’s stomach. Maintaining his position, Arn desperately grabbed the warg’s muzzle and shoved his fingers into both of its eyes. The warg thrashed back and forth, but Arn had never felt stronger and shoved his fingers deep into the warg’s eye sockets … until the buff expired and pain hit him like an avalanche turning his limbs into wet noodles. Arn fell back and hit the ground with a thump, followed a second later by the massive warg falling on top of him.

With the full heal from the level up, Arn should have felt fine. But he couldn’t breath, and all he could see was blackness. He panicked, flailed, and flopped like a fish. His right arm touched something … fur. It all rushed back to him, and he awkwardly, pushed, inched and wiggled his way free, gasping for air. He stood. Looked at the warg in shock. I killed it. I died. Twice! I have a LEGENDARY CLASS!!!! “I HAVE A LEGENDARY CLASS” Arn shouted, pumping his fist in the air. Immediately, he felt like a fool. He still had no weapon, wargs often travelled in pairs, and he was shouting. Still, as he walked home he practically bounced with giddiness. No more being afraid to run like everyone else. No more being forced to leave the village because they don’t need any class your actually good for. No more being looked down on!
