So, where to start from..*sigh*. Last 10 days has been a fest of bad luck and misfortunes for me. At first, I didnt want to make this announcement but then thought it would be better to let you guys know. A few days ago(more than a week, I think), my 4 year old hard drive crashed without any indication or warning(no clicking sound, no increase in bad sectors, etc)--it just gave up on life. It would have been fine if it just died alone but it took all my data with it--the chapters that I had already written was included in that. I tried to salvage as much as I could by booting from a pen drive but didnt get much out. Then I ordered a SSD online which took around a week or so to arrive, but before I could even install it and get started with the OS cloning--I got sick. I thought it was common cold at first but then I got really high fever and had to go admit in the hospital for a few days. I just came back last night and although I am still sick, I finished the installation.

But just so you know, this is not an announcement for dropping the novel. I am going to continue writing and have no intention of stopping any time soon. Just that the headache I am having right now is really making it hard for me to think and write anything. I will start writing again when it goes away(I will have to write all the chapters again that I lost). I am really sorry for causing the delay in the updates--I'll try to make it up for it when I finish writing the first volume.
