Chapter 28, H.O.T.D 2

Just when Deka's knife was a inch away from Souichiro's back and about to pierce all the way into the heart, three unexpected actions occurred one after the other.

The first was made by Hikari watching over the battle through Psyche Force Scan. With the interrupted warning from Aqua, and that she was already keep watch of Souichiro and his wife, Hikari saw the assassin approach through Aqua's eyes connected through Soul Link to see the assassin. She quickly contacted Kohta and then casted her ability Defensive Force Field. Deka's knife thrusted forward with her entire body weight aiming to stab him in the back, but was blocked by a transparent wall appearing out of thin air.

The next action came from Kohta of the Walking Dead Unit. Just as Deka moved back half a step and was planning to retreat with her assassination attempt failed, *PANG*, a bullet fired form the Gauss Rifle flying towards her at a speed invisible to the naked eye struck her head. Kohta was watching the battle within the camp unfold. Waiting for the perfect chance to certainly kill one of the three intruders, Hikari provided the Intel for him to dispose of a unknown fourth enemy about to assassinate Saya's parents. Kohta was in Unlocked Mode and he aimed the Gauss Rifle at Deka still disguised as a man. Deka was revealed to be a assassin, but she was surrounded by others. If his aim was slightly off he could kill one of them, but without hesitation and faith in his accuracy he pulled the trigger and the Gauss Rifle round with pinpoint accuracy struck Deka's head... or at least it was supposed to.

The final action was made made by Deka, or more accurately a item on her person. An expensive B rank exchanged item, a small blue poket mirror, the Azure Mirror. As the Gauss bullet was about to blow off Deka's head off her shoulders, and she herself unable to react to the danger, the Azure mirror acted for her as it glowed with a intense light. Just before the bullet hit Deka an Azure colored light shrouded her body and a spiritual mirror materialized by her side and on contact with the mirrow blocked the bullet. Deka's face lost all its color knowing that she had just cheated death, but she was relived that she had gone against her team's opinion on exchanges and bought items to improve her survivability.

One of which was the Azure Mirror. This was a defensive it similar to the Dharmacakra that had saved Obasi just moments ago, but one much more powerful as a B ranked item. If Obasi was standing where Deka was he wouldn't have been harmed by the Gauss Bullet as well with a fully charged Dharmacakra, but he would have still been blown backwards by the force of the bullet nonetheless. This didn't happen to Deka with the Azure Mirror as the force of the bullet was completely nullified, allowing Deka the peace of mind to turn and runaway. Deka was not a fighter and so didn't even consider the idea of sticking it out with the enemy who all drew weapons at the assassin who just tired to off their boss. A rain of gunfire and magic attacks crashed into Deka who was fleeing, yet the Azure Mirror without letting up blocked all the attacks. Even Saya who had just arrived with Alice, Saeko, and Shizuka-sensei gave a shot at her.

Saya as a Full Elemental casted a powerful spell using up most her spirit, Elemental Burst Blast, at the fleeing assassin. A fireball the size of a wrecking ball and glowing with a rainbow of colors was hurled towards Deka's retreating back. This was a lethal attack unmatched by any in the arsenal of techniques the Walking Dead Unit owns and was proven to be able to kill powerful Type 2 Mutant Beast in one shot and capable of critically wounding Type 3 Mutant Beast with the strongest defense, a tier higher than a L3 Evolved Zombie possess.

The rainbow fireball crashed into the Azure Mirror's light shield protecting Deka. The blast of the fireball incinerated and blew up a crater of 15 meters radius. Most have never seen such destructive display of magic power before, yet to everyone's shock the light shield held on, but a few noticed that the glow of the defensive item had been reduced by more than 30%, so it was not ineffective. Deka didn't know that Saya had used up most of her power just now and couldn't launch more of such attacks, so she swapped out the previous Azure Mirror with a fully charged spare Azure Mirror. It was then after she swapped them out did she regret this decision.

- *BANG*!

- *SHATTER*!

A single bullet shot towards the fleeing Deka and in a instant the new light shield protecting her shattered. To both Deka own shock and everyone else watching, what they saw seemed impossible. Aqua still feeling dizy pushed Drake who had caught her aside and switched out her sci-fi rifle for a magic hand gun. Compared to the EMP Rifle this new gun held far less power, trajectory speed, and attack range, but for "magic" this Thompson Contender Mystic Code was amongst one of the the most lethal of weapons in the exchanges. The Thompson Contender Mystic Code absorbed Aqua's Nen (Energy) and fired a Origin Bullet which 'Sever and Binds' magic power. On impact with the Azure Mirror's light shield appearing to protect its holder, at a speed invisible to the naked eye shattered and the Azure Mirror in Deka's pocket broke, reconstructed improperly and finally fell apart again into thousands of pieces with no hope of ever being restored. Both Deka and everyone else in Team Kenya couldn't believe their eyes. The Azure Mirror could defend against both long and close range magic attacks, sci-fi weapons and as well as a small tactical nuke at least once as a B tier defensive item, but a single bullet from the enemy gun destroyed a fully charged Azure Mirror in a flash. It was unbelievable, yet Sakura was the first to recover and reach a conclusion.

Sakura: (That weapon has to be a magic gun. It certainly doesn't have the design of a sci-fi gun and only a AA tier sci-fi handgun could destroy a B tier defensive item in one shot, yet such a weapon would have continued on and killed Deka where she stood. And handheld one, not a oversized weapon, would cost tens of thousands of points as well. That magic gun looks like customized large caliber handgun and with such a prominent effect... it can only be the BB rank Thompson Condenser Mystic Code! Fuck! Can a new team like Team Japan really think to exchange for such a expensive magic gun?)

In the second after the Azure Mirror was destroyed Sakura with a eidetic memory had memorized Mass Enlightenment's complied list of the name, effect and appearance of all God's exchanged items, so she realized what the magic gun in Aqua's hand was, but more importantly the danger they were in with this new knowledge. To one degree or another each member of Team Kenya present was a magic user of some sort which made them vulnerable targets for the Thompson Contender Mystic Code. Especially Obasi who used a magic Elemental and Kahari who was a stone manipulator through magic. One shot from the Origin Bullet would kill or cripple them. Luckily, Sakura and Deka didn't possess magic or any other type of energy within their bodies. Just weapons and tools, and her own Hie Hie no Mi wasn't magic power but a superpower, but the appearance of the enemies magic gun placed them at too great a disadvantage. Add in the fact they were completely surrounded by hundreds of soldiers now, along with Team Japan and individuals she saw were in Unlocked Mode...

Sakura: "We're screwed! Everyone! Converge towards my loca-"

Deka: "No! Stay away!!!"

Sakura wanted to suggest they escape together. They were surrounded by all sides by powerful foes, yet she still held on to a trump card which would allow them to escape and kill off their targets. Maybe even a member of Team Japan if they were fortunate, yet one member of their team wasn't capable of thinking clearly and was running away by themselves. Saeko with a shining katana radiating sparks of electricity dashed towards the fleeing Deka with the intent to kill believing this was her chance, not knowing that Deka had a second Azure Mirror on her person. Sakura wanted Deka to run towards her and their team so they could save her. Aqua's Mystic Code gun was on cool down and Saeko's sword attacks weren't enough to deplete it's energy unless she she had a few minutes of uninterrupted peace to strike at its light shield. If Deka ran towards Sakura no one would be able to stop her, yet Saeko's inhuman dashing speed and the deadly sword in her hand didn't allow her to think straight or trust her team to help her. And what Sakura saw next she didn't want to believe.

Sakura: "Wait! Don't you dare-!"

- *CRACK*!

Sakura couldn't believe her eyes as Deka took out a gem from her pocket and crushed it with her hand. A blue veil of light enveloped her body just as Saeko's katana slashed at her neck. The blue light veil repelled and even shattered Saeko's treasured katana which had slain many men and high level mutant beast, but more surprisingly the veil of light grew to a blinding level and in the next instant the light subdued and Deka was no where to be seen. Even Alice looking to her pet, the mutant Beast Zeke with superior smell and tracking abilities was lost. No one present had seen real teleportation before with their own eye, yet the present members of Team Japan had heard of such a power.

The team had even looked up this power after the Hunter X Hunter Greed Island mission when they wanted to know how a member of Team Germany had escaped from a fatal attack and disappeared. Magic tool, Gem of Second Chance. It would repel attacks when crushed in the user hand with a light veil and transfer the user over 5000 meters away in a flash of light. It was Deka's own trump card to escape danger as she valued her life greatly spending most of her rewards on such life saving tools, yet enraged Sakura couldn't help but softly curse at her act of cowardice.

Not only did Sakura have the confidence to complete their objective and escape without using such an expensive emergency escape item, Gem of Second Chance could be used to move a group up to five people away. It reduce the transfer distance by 1000 meters for each additional passenger, but with a 2000 meter head start the team wouldn't have any trouble escaping together. They even had Lekan hiding out among the millions of undead creatures to support their escape with sci-fi weapons.

Sakura: "Bitch!!! You fucking coward! I'll cut you up and feed you to Khari later!"

Sakura unable to hold back her disdain for the woman screamed to the heavens hoping the person she hated the most right now could hear her, and then she immediately ducked and rolled away to the side as a wave of needles were thrown at her back by Sachi. Too many unexpected events just transpired, but Sachi was the first to act realizing their teams's golden chance. The enemy who must die after all the damage they caused were in a weakened condition and divided as a team. One weakling escaped, but would they ever get another golden chance to wipe three members of Team Kenya again? Especially Sakura, a woman capable of fending off her own and multiple other attacks, protect her team during all the chaos, and who had unlocked the Second Stage of the Genetic Constraint. Even if she was weaker than the monster Shin and other had went to confront, Sakura wasn't any less of a threat for everyone else.

Sakura: "Its your win today, but even if I have to use a Ice Energy Stone, I won't let your side have the final laugh, Team Japan!"

Sakura rushed towards Obasi who was in no shape to move and carried him towards Kahari. Every soldiers present had locked their sight on these three and barraged them with a endless storm of gunfire, but Kahari created a stone wall around his comrades on all sides to box them in and block the bullets, yet it was beginning to chip away and wouldn't last much longer. Kahari, after Sakura, understood the threat of Aqua's magic gun, so he couldn't risk reinforcing his stone creations with magic power. He was afraid of the backlash from the magic gun destroying the stone wall and himself sharing a fate similar to Deka's shattered Azure Mirror, but unfortunately he was seen through.

Aqua saw the chipping of the stone and took out her EMP Rifle knowing that the stone wasn't being reinforced and wouldn't be able to withstand it's attack. Aqua raised the sci-fi rifle at the stone wall intending to sweep everyone on the other side away like she had done so with hundreds of thousands of zombies, but before she could pull the trigger the stone wall was blown apart from the inside by a ever expanding fog of white cold winds.

Sakura: "Ice Age!"

The cold winds blew in all directions over a hundred meters covering everyone in the white fog, even freezing solid a few soldiers too close to the initial blast of icy winds, but one person was moving, unobstructed by the fog. Sakura was soaring through the white fog with legs that had turned into solid ice. She was actually flying and her ice legs never touched the ground to everyone's shock. Some had seen flight magic before, even Saya could fly for a minute or two with wind of a Full Elemental long as she had a large amount of spirit, but never something so strange as Sakura's transformation which allowed flight. Adding in the white fog obstructing everyone's vision time to time and Sakura vivid beauty, made her appear even more mysterious and mythical than anything they had seen since the beginning of the apocalypse.

Carried in Sakura's left arm was Kahari who was also carrying a unconscious Obasi. Aqua was the first one to see the three of them flying off after the initial blindness of the fog and she shot at them with the EMP Rifle, yet it was no use. With the agility of a bird in flight Sakura flying over everyone's heads avoided the EMP Rifle's bullet with ease. A few stray bullets of soldiers following Aqua's example shot towards her, but not feeling their threat unlike Aqua's weapon, she merely twirled her spear now carrying a strong blast of icy winds to blow away the bullets. It looked like Sakura was going to fly off into the distance just like this, but as she left the white fog she and her teammates began to fall, yet as Sakura fell she glared at a certain individual while pulling back her right arm with her open fist scraping the side of her chest. At the same time her ice transformed legs receded back into flesh and blood, while at the same time her entire right arm transformed into ice and shined with ever growing light.

Sakura: "Ice Age, Spear of Gungnir!!!"

With a swift thrust of Sakura's right hand a blinding light in the shape of a spear shot forward at the speed of light. The spear of light was formed by sacrificing her entire arm and left her exhausted, yet the results were frightening enough to compensate. Not one person present was able to react to the hurled spear of light and without interruption it reached its target, the supreme commander of the army. Souichiro Takagi was a powerful natural Evolver who despite running a large organization had reached a impressive level of over 40, but even such a strong man was unable to defend himself and could only watch as the spear of light stab his chest directly with the last sensation he had among the living was cold chill. The spear of light stabbed right through Souichiro's chest and continued to fly for another 100 meters, and both he and everything else that crossed it's path froze instantly into solid ice, and in the next instance shattered in ice crystals.

Saya: "Papa!!!"

Saya forgot they were still in battle and rushed towards where he was just standing, next to her mother who looked on in shock and despair at the swift and utter end of her husband. Not one of the soldiers moved to chase after their leader's assassin immediately. Supreme Commander Souichiro Takagi just left that big of a impact on each and every one of them. He was a strict and decisive man, but more so good and honorable and many on the soldiers here today were saved by him at one time or another before or after the apocalypse. Takashi of the Walking Dead Unit was undoubtedly the most popular individual within the whole city and military, but as he had not officially join the military and was closer to a mercenary, Souichiro Takagi was more respected by his peers.

Yuriko Takagi: "After them!!! Don't let them escape our camp alive!!!"

And it was then only after the wife of their fallen leader reminded them did they remember they had lef the enemy go. They looked and saw the new group to join them lead by Aqua lead the charge. Aqua had summed over a dozen dark mutant wolves to chase after the enemy as well, but the soldiers rushed forward to try to overtake them. These men and woman of the army wanted to be the ones to get revenge for their fallen leader and would not hand over that duty to anyone else. Team Japan and the dozens of soldiers that had become hundreds and thousands as they chased after Team Kenya through the camp finally spotted them. Kahari was carrying both a unconscious Obasi as well as the exhausted Sakura in his arms as he ran and jumped over the fence of the camp.

Kahari's goal was to rush into the legion of millions zombies and hide amongst them. From behind a endless rain of bullet chased after him, but Kahari would summon stone wall that would soon fall to protect him. Kahari was too afraid to strengthen his stone creations with magic power with the threat of the Thompson Contender Mystic Code still in play, so he made do with shabby defenses and as a result caught more than a few bullets in the back which would have made any normal man fall long ago, but thankfully he had greatly enhanced his body despite being a magic user and had also Unlocked the First Stage, so he was much stronger than the average Enhancer. What Kahari was afraid of more than bullets were the several dark wolves chasing after him and were no more than a meter or two behind. There was also Aqua who was the fastest among everyone using Wind Chaser who stood on top of the fence aiming her EMP Rifle at his back.

Kahari: "If the damn monster wolves don't kill me that rifle will! Lekan!!!"

Kahari shouted at the top of his lungs and his prayers were answered. From a hidden location Lekan's Mass Bomber was fired once more. At the same time a bullet fired from the Eaglet Trigger composed of Trion and Demonic Power hit him in the chest blowing him backwards and coughing up mouthful of blood from the impact. Luckily he had a defensive item on him which absorbed the impact, but unlike some of his comrades he didn't invest in a higher tier one, and so his DD rank Crystal Tears Pendant shattered after just one shot and was unable to fully absorb the blast. The missile that was fired released its contents and rain downed bombs past Kahari and towards the base to act as cover for them, but left defenseless Lekan didn't wait to observe. He ran away carrying his comrades in his arms hoping Team Japan's sniper would overlook him to take care the falling bombs, and he was correct.

Connor who laid in wait for a chance to snipe Lekan could only fired off one more shot not knowing if he hit or not, and cursed as he had to redirect his attention. Connor switch to the Lightning Trigger and relentlessly fired at the falling bombs blowing the majority of them as they fell through the air. Aqua also joined him with the EMP Rifle shooting nonstop into the skies. Like before a few bombs were missed and killed a few soldiers as they hit the ground, but Connor and Aqua made sure that his team and the majority of the soldiers were safe and outside any of the blast radius. Then once the chaos calmed down Aqua contacted Connor.

Aqua SL: (Connor, can you find anyone from Team Kenya? My wolves lost them after they rushed into the dense swarm of THEM and they were killed. Fuck we had them! They were on their last leg too, but they got away with killing the Supreme Commander... but if its with your Side Effect we may still have a-)

Connor SL: (No it won't work. My Side Effect to visually see evil isn't so great that I can find a few people hiding amongst millions of THEM who are all walking incarnations of darkness through my eyes. All I can see is a ocean of malice too dense to distinguish individuals. Long as they don't make any further attempts to attack us... I can't pick them out.)

Aqua SL: (Then... we can only accept that we've lost this time.)

Outside the camp not too far from the legion of zombies continuing to charge forward to invade deeper into the city, a blue spark of light burst in the air and then came a blinding flash. Appearing from within the flash was Deka. She still had a fearful look on her face as if she was about to be killed at any moment, but once she calmed down she relaxed and thought about her situation. She had escaped the dangers within the base which filled her with nothing but joy, but she had also abandoned her teammates. It was only after the fact did such a thought cross her mind as at the time she was scared for her life, but it didn't change the facts. She could have used Gem of Second Chance to help her teammates escape danger more efficiently when their initial plan of a quick assassination of the human armies leaders failed. It wouldn't have been difficult and as much as she hates to admit it Sakura was capable. Sakura could have killed their targets and lead their team to victory without a loss of life, but because of Deka's own actions it was more than possible someone or everyone could die. And if someone were truly to die...

Deka: "I... I need to get to Badru first and ask for protection! I'm sure that Sakura will figure something out, but that bitch won't forgive, much less let it go that I abandoned her and the others. If Sakura comes after me I won't be able to fight back with only a defensive item with less than 70% of its energy remaining. The only one she'll listen to is Badru, so he's my only-"

- *KLANK*!

Just as Deka was deep in thought on ways to extend her life within her own team, her true enemies had arrived to claim that life in a twist of fate. Before she realized it her Azure Mirror took effect to block the hacking slash of a green energy blade traveling towards her neck. The light shield blocked the sharp energy blade and was unable to approach Deka, yet the force of the slash still sent her flying back a few meters with the smallest crack in the mirror.

Deka looked back with confusion and shock was clearly shown on her face, but soon fear overwhelmed her. Standing there in front of her was a youth who looked exhausted welding a sci-fi sword with a deltoid shaped blade. There was a furious look on his face and behind the youth were four of his comrades. One was unconscious and badly burned being carried by a girl with orange-brown hair, but from the vigilant look in her eyes and the eyes two men by her side, it was clear to Deka that she was surrounded by enemies.

Deka: "H... How!? Badru should have killed you all! And how did you follow me all the way over here!?"

Shin: "...I've heared what happened with Hikari, so I know you used the Gem of Second Chance, so the answer to your question is... Hahaha! It's coincidence! It's a random teleport after all and we were just on our way back from fighting your leader when we got word of your attack on the camp. We were rushing back after a exhausting fight against that monstrous leader of yours. As for why we are still alive... you can only wait for the answer in hell! I'll definitely make sure that man joins you there one day!"

Deka: "Hiiii!"

The first time Shin attacked he had tired to kill Deka stealthy by simulating Sachi in the Third Stage and behead her before she saw him, but the Azure Mirror he had heard that Aqua had destroyed reappeared to protect her. Shin could guess it wad a spare defensive item as the original would have been destroyed by the Thompson Contender Mystic Code, but the point was that with that defensive item on her person it was impossible to instantly kill her. And so he unmasked his bloodlust and jumped towards Deka. Deka had tried to run away once she felt Shin's unmasked killing intent, but it was no use. It was impossible for her without special items to escape someone like Shin with his high stats and enhancements even without movement techniques, and even then-

Jin: "Quagmire!"

Shuai: "Gnome! Earth wall!"

He was not alone. Just as Deka turned around to run her feet were caught in a sinking mud and additionally blocking her path was a 15 meter tall wall of earth blocking all escape routes, resulting in a fenced area where the only path out was to bypass Shin charging forward and his comrades supporting him from the back. Deka's fate was sealed the moment she appeared before this group, but she was even too sacred to realize that and so she lashed out at Shin with a spare military knife. This knife had no special abilities and Deka's thrusting speed and form were completely off and embarrassingly amateur when comparing her to dagger users like Sachi. Shin easily brushed aside the knife with his free hand, and without care as he jumped into the quagmire with her and slashed repeatedly at his helpless opponent.

Over ten sword slashes aimed all over her body struck in seconds, but the light shield protecting Deka kept her alive and unharmed. With each additional slash Shin began to notice small cracks in the light barrier and was even beginning to dim down. Shin was using a B tier sci-fi sword after all so there was a visible effect, but who knew how many times he would have to cut at the light barrier to finally shatter it.

Shin: (I recovered a bit of Ki on the way back here, so-"

For a change of pace Shin switch up his attacks from attacks sword to fist, throwing out a punch with Legacy. With what he had left he channeled Ki into the left hand glove activating the burning energy field glowing with the color of magma, and he struck the light shield.

- *SIZZLING*!

Both Deka and Shin eyes opened wide as the light shield and burning energy field clashed. The light shield even when it suffered damage deflected all attack away from the user, but now confronted with Legacy that did not happen. Shin's gloved fist wrapped in the burning energy field crashed into the light shield and on impact over a third of the shield shattered and the rest began to melt slowly on contact with the glove. Deka could feel the burning energy through her barrier, and in the next second the sheer force of the clash pushed her out of the quagmire and crashing through the rock wall Shuai had summoned. Shin stood there in the quagmire alone still staring at the burning energy field his glove. He had certainly knew of Legacy' destructive power which was even on par with the charge attack of the Z Saber, yet because he already owned two swords and the range of fist attacks were limited, he had begun to rethink his choice in acquiring this weapon. At the very least he didn't believe he could get so close to Badru with the burning energy field active to strike him, and even if he succeed he would die with him if Badru aimed for a dual exchange. That's why amongst his newest weapons he had favored the Z Saber more than Legacy, but-

Shin: (Could it be the Adell's Legacy has a hidden anti-defensive ability to melt barriers? If that's the case then...)

Shin was in grossed in all the possibilities for a moment and then set his sights on the enemy. Deka was still alive and just picking herself up from the impact from his attack and crash from slamming into the rock wall. The barley functional defensive item kept her alive, but it was unable to cancel out all the damage and she coughed up a mouthful of blood and looked to be in pain all over. Seeing Deka like this Shin didn't hold any pity towards her and he jumped out of the quagmire using Instant Movement and dashed towards her to finish her off, as well as to test Legacy against her defensive item once more. And seeing him approach Deka begged for her life knowing she had no protection against this man.

Deka: "Please! Please just spare me! I'm sure my team's leader has already displayed his might before you and you don't want to upset him! You don't have to let me go, but just keep me captive till the mission ends. I'll even offer you valuable Intel on the variety of powers of Team Kenya!"

Shin rushing towards Deka and came to a stop with his left hand wrapped in the burning energy field inches away from her face. Deka let out a sigh of relief when Shin's hand retract slowly. Even if Team Japan were to now cut off her arms and legs it would be okay as such injures were be cheap to heal in God's Dimension. She probably wouldn't be able to acquire any more points during this mission but long as her team didn't let the Z3 be killed she wouldn't have to worry about the 5000 Point and B ramk reward and under penalty, and her leader Badru surely wouldn't allow that. Deka was truly relived, but noticing Shin's eyes still in Unlocked Mode and his facial expressions become void of emotions, a sinking feeling grew in her chest and she was right to feel that way.

In the next second Shin's hand charged with the burning field shoot forward once more with no signs of holding back. Deka's Azure Mirror activated and the blue energy defensive field glowed around her body along with a deformed light shield to protect her, but like before the light shield melted on contact with his gloves, completely this time and in just second Shin's gloved hand grasped Deka's head. In that moment the blue energy field completely shattered and at last Deka felt the full heat of the burning energy on her face, but even that pain didn't last long and her life was snuffed out. Coming into physical contact with Legacy sentenced her to death. Not even Badru would have been okay taking a direct hit, so Deka had no chance at all and her skin, flesh, skull and brain matter all melted and burned in Shin's grasp fingers.

Shin: "The risk of letting you live was too high. It would take time to acquire all the information you possessed and your team would grow suspicious of you leaking vital information if you do not return or are not confirmed dead. It may also offset the already flimsy deal with Badru we have that's vital to my team... and I don't think he'll mind just one loss. Also... I'm not in the mood to show mercy."

Like how Tiger Soul had the unexpected ability to cast a barrier/light blade around the user, I thought Adell's Legacy should have something similar, so I gave it an anti-defensive barrier ability to melt through them. The burning energy field can melt and destroy any CC rank or lower defensive barrier in one hit, a fully charged B rank barrier can with stand 2-3 hits and BB rank can withstand 8 blows. I like this ability which gives value to Legacy and to upgrade it further with a important reason rather than just because. I'm also happy I didn't have to copy Tiger Soul to give a barrier hidden ability and could think up something cool and not impossible for Legacy to have as a hidden effect.

Crystal Tears Earring -

Rating 63.

Tears of a mermaid queen turn solid which projects a defensive barrier around the holder when threatened. Can block critical attacks automatically 100 times or until the energy within depletes. Can not be recharged externally. Requires 1,200 Points and two D rank rewards.

Dharmacakra -

Rating 80.

The Dharmacakra can be used to defend against magic and sci-fi attacks, and to heal injuries. When activated a layer of golden light appears on top of the target. Limit to how many times it can be used as the amount of energy it contained is limited. Will automatically recover 1% of energy every sixty minutes, but once it depletes completely it will no longer have the defensive or healing properties losing all function. Can not be recharged externally. Requires 5000 Points and C rank reward.

Azure Mirror -

Rating 102.

Defensive Item. A small pocket hand mirror from the underworld which will cast a blue defensive aura and light shield to protect its holder. Blocks both powerful magic and sci-fi weapons. Will automatically recover 1% of energy every ten minutes, but once it depletes completely it will no longer have the defensive property and will lose all function. Can not be recharged externally. Requires 5,000 Points and B rank reward.

Gem of Second Chance -

Rating 110.

Emergency escape magic tool. Upon crushing the gem in one's hands a veil of protection will surround the user to repel attacks of a certain level, and three seconds later will transport the user to a random location 5000 meters away. Capable of transporting up to 5 people and move as a group, but with each additional passenger the distance transported will be decreased by 1000 meters. Requires 7,500 Points and B rank reward.
