Chapter 23, H.O.T.D 2

A few minutes after Shin defeated the L3 and the army ordered the retreat to the second line of defense and were on the move, the battlefield had become chaotic. Aqua with the EMP Rifle and with the support of a team of elite Enhancers, were doing their job well of holding back the majority of the legion rushing into the Tokonosu City, but there was only so much they could do. The EMP Rifle's fire power couldn't be matched or resisted by the legion. Evolved zombie or otherwise. Needle thin bullets shot out of the rifle and mowing down tens of thousands of zombies who were rushing forward. The numerous H1 Zombies were hiding within the densely packed legion of undead and were taking turns sniping at her with large fireballs capable of blowing up armored vehicles and even tanks if multiple hit at once, but Aqua's agility was inhuman from her many enhancements as she avoided every last fireball aimed at her.

Aqua would then retaliated with the powerful EMP Rifle, shredding to pieces all those hidden H1 zombies along side with those undeads trying to cover for them. Aqua was clearly winning this battle, but there wasn't a trace of a smile to be found on her face. The EMP Rifle was heating up and would soon reach its limit and she would have no choice but to stop using the sci-fi weapon to not risk it exploding. It was their closest thing to a trump card in this world after all. In addition, although the H1 Evolved Zombies were engaging Aqua in battle, none of the other evolved zombies were rushing towards her, but avoiding her attack range all together and slipping through into the city.

Aqua: "Fuck! Are they just rushing towards me to pin down the EMP Rifle all to just have the elites to sneak in? Damn! What a capable yet ruthless general THEM have!"

Aqua was praising the enemy, but she was frightened at the idea of a enemy who doesn't bat a eye at sending over 100,000 zombies, in a way soldiers, to their death to just pin down Aqua and the EMP Rifle. Aqua felt a cold chill down her spine as she then considered that the Z3 leading the legion ordering this latest offensive having predicted Aqua would rush forward with the EMP Rifle. If that was the case, not only was the enemy more capable then they realized, she herself may be assassinated. The EMP Rifle was too dangerous of a weapon for the enemy who lacked powerful ranged attacks besides the H1 Zombies. Still, the human side, or Team Japan specifically only had one EMP Rifle and if it were destroyed they would absolutely lose their greatest trump card in this mission. That is why Aqua was now frightened that this was all a plot to have her grand stand in open view when their weren't hundreds of cloaked Enhancers to hide amongst.

Aqua: (I have to pay close attention my surrenderings. I have Hikari's scans, but we still haven't been able to locate Team Kenya. If they try to bombard or snipe me...)

Aqua had already entered Unlocked Mode as she let loose a endless storm of bullets fired the EMP Rifle. It was exhausting to stay in First Stage to just fire a gun, but in case of a sneak attack was on full alert and was ready to even enter the Second Stage to runaway, or even transform to break her way through any trap. Still, although Aqua was a powerful close range fighter and she had the confidence to charge up and kill a sniper or two, but if they were separate by millions of bloodthirsty zombies...

Aqua: "Fuck! I can only endure!"

Saying so Aqua continued her rampage witht he EMP Rifle. She was also worried about her team and the main characters who have to face off against higher evolved zombies, but till the EMP reached its limit she would kill as many undead as possible.

As the army retreated the second line of defense they were ruthlessly chased after by the legion of zombies. Thankfully, due to Aqua's efforts the bulk of the enemy's forces were held back, but hundreds of thousands of undead who went around Aqua's EMP Rifle's firing range and entered deeper into Tokonosu City. They were ordered to chase down the exhausted and vulnerable soldiers and were successful at killing over a 1000 soldiers who had turned their back to the enemy out of fear, but the Z3 watching the battle through the eyes of its minions wasn't satisfied in the least. This was a golden opportunity for his side to wipe out, or cut down a large chunk of the human armies manpower, but it had slipped through his fingers.

The escaping soldiers were in a orderly and practiced fashion running to the second line of defense, whereas the zombie legion repeatedly ran into roadblock of cars and destroyed building in the middle of the street to hinder their chase. The undead legion even fell into a countless number of traps like mine fields set up by the military and hundreds of giant quicksand pits created by the combination of Quagmire spell and Earth Elemental of Jin and Shuai/Gnome. The army had planned and practiced their escape tactics predicting that the first line of defense at the edge of the city would fall one way or another.

They had even made sure to transport their tanks, helicopters, and other powerful weapons before all else. They could have been used to stop the advance of the legion for some time too allow more soldiers to escape, but knowing that the tanks and armored cars would be swallowed up by the legion and helicopters shot down by the H1 types, the top brass of the army made the hard decision that these weapons of war had more value and prioritized their transfer before all else to the second line of defense. They knew it, so they planned best how to lessen their casualties and resources while cutting down the enemy forces at the same time. Soon the second line of defense would be fully staffed by the soldiers escaping from the first and could keep the 3 million legion of undead at bay.

Jin: "Although by now it should be much closer to 2 million THEM. Aqua should be able wipe out another 100,000 THEM soon and thousands more will fall prey to the traps our side have set up. Saya said if we were forced to retreat we would lose 1/3 of our manpower, but like this we'll only lose at best 10% or less while still holding on to most of our weaponry. Guy! It's unlikely that the second line of defense will fall at this rate!"

Drake: "Who cares and get back to fighting, Jin!"

Shuai: "Damn, more are coming! Gnome! Land Needle!"

Gnome: "!!!"

Gnome raised her thin child size arms towards the approaching enemy 100 meters in front of them. Shuai, Jin, Connor, Kisara, Drake and Sachi. A group of ten S2 were in the midst of chasing after a group of soldiers escaping to the second line of defense. They were among the unfortunate few who weren't lucky enough to escape fast enough, fell behind, and and most unfortunate of all ran into a pack of evolved zombies. This group didn't have any high level Enhancers who could face off against one S2, much less a group of ten and could only crazily shoot at them with their rifles. They were showering the enemy with the same magic enchanted bullets crafted with the method provided by Team Japan, but this was just a waste of ammunition against their pursuers. Against L1 or L2 types the bullets could have wiped out or damage the zombies creating a means of escape, but not against the S2 Agility Types. As if it was the easiest thing in the world the ten S2s used their lightning fast speed and reflexes to avoid the shower of bullets and close the distance to their prey.

They would be caught by the S2s in the next five seconds if nothing was done, so Team Japan who saw the fleeing soldiers assisted them. The Earth Elemental on orders from her master took action to save them, channeling the powers of the earth around the enemy. As the claws of the S2 were about to reach the soldiers a small vibration through the earth was felt. The S2 instantly felt the vibrations and jumped to flee, but too occupied with the prey before their eyes they were late by just half a step. Stabbing upward from the ground over an area of 10 meters were rock like needles. This was a variation of the earth spikes Shuai and Gnome normally used. The earth spike held more power, but during recent battles Shuai noticed that the S2 reactions speed to notice such a big move was frightening and could avoid the earth spike, so Shuai and Gnome sacrificed the power of earth spike to create a faster and wider range attack.

Land Needle!

Hundreds of thin rock needles sprung up through the earth and impaled all ten S2s. They were lifted off the ground failing about helpless till the rock needles cut all the way through their bodies, piercing both their brains and spines. This frightening attack made all those present take in a deep breath, but Shuai knew it wasn't as powerful as it looked. The individual needles wouldn't be able to pierce through the armor like skin of the Power Type L series of zombie, and Players with either a defensive techniques or magic armor wouldn't suffer any damage.

Shuai: "...Hm, I still have a ways to go."

Hikari: "Pff! What was that? "Hm, I still have a ways to go..." You can't become the protagonist just by acting like that otaku leader of ours and one stupid protagonist is enough. Your existence is closer to air as well, so it's just embarrassing."

Shuai: "Fuck my life! You-"

Kisara: "The two of you cut it out! Also, Sachi, please try helping that man there. One of the S2 Types manged to swipe at him before Shuai killed them."

Kisara pointed a finger at one of the soldiers lying on the streets of the city who was surrounded by his fellow fleeing soldiers. The man was grasping a bloody stump of what used to be his right arm which was just sliced completely off by the S2 and was screaming loudly. Everything from just below the shoulder was gone. The majority of Team Japan had only now just noticed him departed his yelling. Since the battle against the legion had begun gun fire and the wailing of men and women had rang in their ears all day and night. Even now they could hear others screaming in the distance, so the screaming of dying soldiers as they fell to the undead no longer bothered them and almost went unnoticed. Still, they felt embarrassed knowing that they could of had Sachi immediately help the man, so reminded by Kisara they immediately sent over their team's ace (Only) medic, Sachi.

Sachi stepped in between the group of soldiers surrounding the man screaming and clutching what was still there of his bloody arm. From the serious atmosphere among then and the leader of the group raising a hand gun at the wounded man's head, it was obvious he was about to put down his comrade. The zombies carried a lethal virus to humans which turned them undead with just a scratch, much less having a limb cit off by a S2. It was the norm to kill anybody, man, woman, or child who becomes infected, so these soldiers were about to put down their comrade before he changed into a zombie which was the best they could do for their friend. Only recently had a cure to the virus been discovered thanks to Team Japan handing over the Antidote, but it would take time to mass produce the Antidote, so they were not yet available for everyone to use.

Sachi: "Put down your gun! I can save him. Have you heard about acupuncture? It can even be used to remove the virus from THEM with the right tools or skills."

Infected Soldier: "That's unheard of!"

Group Leader: "That's right! Please don't give us false-"

Sachi: "It isn't false hope. If everyone who came across THEM were brought to me before they died and turned, I could have done something if it's within three minutes, yet as too many were injured I couldn't help everyone. That's probably why word of my skills failed to reach you as I was treating people. I can save him, or would you rather your friend die here at your hands?"

Group Leader: "..."

Sachi: "Good. Now relax and savor the pain while you can. Relax your muscles. I will insert the needles into several acupoints that can stimulate your own body’s ability to detoxify, and also one point that can discharge toxins. Then we will have to see your luck.”

Sachi then took out a jade case, opened it, and picked up one of the golden Xian Needles from within and inserted it into the infected soldier's body at blazing speed. Next she inserted more needles one after another with the same speed. Many of those watching didn’t even see her lightning fast movements when she finished inserting eight needles into the soldier. For Team Japan this is was there second time seeing her at work with the Xian Needles, so they had some grasp of her medical ability, yet even they were still amazed. Along with poisons (Drake's experience), Sachi had talents at least in acupuncture. Proof of this was that the infected soldier's face was looking much better.

Infected Soldier: "There’s pain coming from my livers, but everywhere else feels better now. My whole body was beginning to lose all feelings before and now- ghaaaa!!!”

The infected soldier then screamed once more as Sachi without a word and only a smile on her face took out a small knife then cut a cross on the exposed flesh just under the shoulder. Black colored blood then flowed out from the wound. They didn't understand everything that was going on, but they were sure Sachi's methods were effective seeing the black blood they assumed to be the virus flowing out of their comrade's body.

Sachi: “Good, your liver is now working to detoxify and with the Xian energy’s stimulation it should just take three minutes to clear 80% of the toxins. The rest would take several hours. So don’t panic. Humans have a very powerful immune system, but most times it doesn’t work to its full potential. That’s why we need medicines and vaccines to do its job."

Kisara: "Amazing. I hope none of us get hurt, but with you we shouldn't have to worry about dying. I wonder how Shin and Aqua are doing? They are strong, but they are fighting alone right now."

Hikari: "They are okay. I'm keeping a eye on them with my scans and I assigned two of my three DRAGOONs to watch over them. They have both begun to retreat and are on their way here. Aqua should arrive first in the modified humvee in about ten minutes and then Shin by Void Movement a few minutes after her."

Jin: "Hmm... so quickly?"

Drake: "Is that a problem?"

Jin: "No, but its just embarrassing is all. Shin defeated a L3 and Aqua has been holding back most of the 2-3 million large legion of THEM. What have we been doing? Helping people escape. When we were fighting with the Walking Unit we couldn't get the kills either as we could only assist. Takashi killed the L3 and Hunter Type 2, and Saeko killed the S3. They also took the dropped items that only drop if you use God and Devil equipment. We had the perfect chance to earn 1500 points and C rank reward each!"

Connor: "It was impossible without taking a large risk, Jin. The L3 could withstand multiple shots from my Ibis with Demonic Argumentation active. I also could never lock onto the S3 within the scope of my guns."

Drake: "Connor is right. We would have needed vanguards like Shin and Aqua to hold them down. We of course did have Takashi, Saeko, and the others of the main characters added to our firepower, but they aren't Team Japan. We couldn't mess up the flow battles against those dangerous freaks just to score the final hit. We could have gotten someone killed, or ruined our relationship with the main characters."

Jin: "True, I won't deny what you've said, but like this we are showing Shin and Aqua that we can't handle a strong opponent on our own. We still have a chance to impress! A S3 and a Hunter Type 2 disappeared in all the chaos for us to chase down and kill! The main characters went ahead to look for them, but we can't give up this chance!"

Jin said so happily, but the others weren't happy that a Hunter Type 2s and S3 was somewhere nearby where they couldn't find them. As undead they didn't have mental waves for Hikari to track down as well. She would be able to visual spot a zombie through the scans, but she wouldn't be able to pinpoint them with accuracy like a human. Then their was the masking of the Z3. It wasn't impossible for undead type to sneak up on them, so they were already on a state of alert, and the idea of a Hunter Type 2 or S3 sneaking up on them sent shivers down their spine. The S3 and the slightly slower but still fast and more cunning Hunter Type 2 could charge up and kill half their group before anyone could react.

Infected Soldier: "Thank you! I, I, I thought I was a goner."

Group: "Yes thank you! All of us here have been fighting together since the apocalypse has began and we've never lost a comrade so far. Thank you. It's a shame his arm was cut to pieces. If it was only cut off maybe you could have reached it with surgery, but who knows in this world where we all suddenly gained special powers and magic skills. I've even heard rumors that the hero Takashi possess a skill to regenerate lost limbs and broken bones. All of us are still low level, but there's still a chance we can help him."

Sachi: "It really is a shame about the arm. I really could have attached on the spot if it wasn't diced to pieces. For now just remember to keep his wound clean and-"

In that rare moment for her team to see Sachi giving excellent after care advice to her patient and to his comrades, like a gust of cold air a blue shadow reminiscent of a ghost dashed to the soldiers from behind. Almost no one had time to react, especially Sachi who was healing the infected soldier right in the middle of the group, but she was already being pulled backwards by the back of her shirt by Kisara. As Kisara did this a sharp and crisp clang was heard as she swung her katana stopping a claw swiping towards Sachi's neck. All these events were too fast to preocces instantly, and once they finally could they were shocked by what they saw. One second ago Team Japan were facing ten or so soldiers glad to see their comrade was alive, and in the next each and every one of them had their hearts pierced by a claw, tearing their still beating hearts out. The monster responsible for this tragedy and without a care began devouring these hearts right in front of Team Japan was a lone short and slender blue zombie with powerful legs. This zombie was releasing a deathly aura of killing intent and sluth towards them was in fact one of the Agility Type evolved zombie. An S3 Agility Type Evolved Zombie.

Shuai: "HOI, JOSO, KETSU!"

Without wasting a second in the face of the extreme speed S3, Shuai entering Unlocked Mode took the first move to protect everyone. In a split second he conjured a 5x5 meter purple cube Kekkai around the entire team, not setting it off to collapse space, but to protect them from the S3. Especially the members present who didn't possess the close combat ability to fight an S3. Among them only Kisara and Sachi, and possibly Connor who invested heavily in Reaction Speed as a sniper could face the extreme speed zombie. Hikari, Jin, Drake, and Shuai himself didn't have this ability.

- *TEARING*!

The S3 without a care for the barrier shot forward and swiped at the kekkai without hesitation. It's long claws glowed with a lethal blue glow and began to extend up to three meters long as they slashed at the barrier. In a instant the kekkai was torn apart and the S3 jumped inside where Team Japan were hiding within, but a hail of gunfire forced it back. Connor already in Trion form took out the Lightning Trigger set for continuous fire and aimed to turn the extreme speed zombie into a beehive full of holes. The Lightning Trigger didn't shot out regular bullets, but energy bullets made of Trion with a much higher destructive potential than even magic bullets. The S3 sensed and never attempted to strike them down with its claws. The S3 excelled in speed, but it's defense wasn't that much greater than a low level Enhancer with the only exception were it's hard claws which could slice and tear through anything.

Hikari: "Watch out!"

The S3 then maneuvered around the hail of Trion Bullets shot from Connor's gun with room to spare and then circled around to his back in a instant. Connor was already in the motion of turning around, but he was too late and so were the others. A claw aimed at his throat connected and tore off his head. The S3 looked pleased, but seeing not blood, but Trion Energy leaking out from within stunned him. Especially when Connor's body flew off into the distance in a flash of light 1000 meters away. This left a opening for the other. Hikari meaning to put up a Defensive Force Field to protect Connor instead manifest the barrier to make a wall in front of the S3 to block a escape path, also where Shuai, Drake and herself were standing on the other side.

Kisara: "!!!"

Sachi: "..."

From the other side of the wall and behind the S3 two humans shot towards the zombie with incredible speed. Kisara filled with a calm, yet burning fighting spirit and wielding her katana Shusui charged forward with dazzling speed. Sachi with no emotion on her face was slower and stealthy followed right behind Kisara. Kisara arrived first and with no room to hold back execute Double Accel, her speed surging to a higher realm approaching light itself. Just as the S3 turned its head a katana chopped down on the undead. The S3 with lightning fast reaction steped to the side to avoid the blade, but Kisara continued to brandish her katana. Her weapon Shusui was charged with Nen and swung at the S3 at the speed of light. The S3 sensed Shusui sharpness and speed with every fiber of its being and knew to avoid the blade at all cost.

This clash only lasted only a few seconds, but numerous upon numerous blows and moves were made between the two. Kisara swung her sword to behead the S3, sidestepped to avoid swipe of the undead's claws, and blocked claws coming to rip out her torso. The S3 did the same. The S3 swung claws in a gale at Kisara, jumped back and to the side to avoid her katana, and blocked her katana aiming to behead it. In this exchange Kisara was actually a bit faster than the S3 using Double Accel, but she ran out of stamina first before the undead evolved zombie. Double Accel taxed her body greatly and the clash with the S3, despite its short duration, pushed her to the edge and wiped her out.

The last swing of Kisara's blade had forced her the S3 to jump back a meter and slashed off its right arm, but by then Kisara had collapsed onto the street of the city. The S3 revealed it's rotten teeth that smiled at this golden opportunity. Evolved zombies were drawn to the blood and flesh of high level Enhancer and Evolvers, and regardless of the origins of the powers of Team Japan's members, they were all utterly enticing for the S3. So much so that despite the grasp the powerful control type Z3 had on its mind, the S3's instincts screamed and compelled it to feast on her flesh here and now to further it's evolution.

Drake: "Dark Repulsion!"

In that split second it took the S3 to disobey the Z3's order, Drake already in Unlocked Mode and activating a skill stepped in to save Kisara. Spiraling around his forearm was a vortex of white light radiating a glow of Faith Energy. The claws of the S3 were already swinging down upon Kisara and now Drake who stepped in between them, but on contact with the Dark Repulsion's shield the claws were deflected away and the rebounding force made the S3 take a large step back. Drake saw this opportunity and fired off the vortex of light towards the undead. The S3 fearing contact witht he vortex flipped over the blast, allowing it to pass without making contact, yet coming so close with a concentration of Faith Energy twice as an undead weakened it for a moment and stumbled as it landed.

Sachi: "..."

Unnoticed by the S3, Sachi stayed out of line of sight and snuck around its back back with swift yet silent steps, and then swung her dagger into its back. This was a golden opportunity created by Drake and she was not about to pass it up. The head was the ideal target to instantly kill the S3, but she felt the S3 was too self aware of attacks aimed to destroy the brain for her sneak attack to succeed, so she made a compromise. Unfortunately in that instant the S3 took notice. The S3 crouched down and kicked Sachi knocking her back crushing a few of her ribs with that powerful kick, but the damage had done as the S3 roared loudly in pain. Sachi's dagger Hell Fire Fang had sunk deep between its back ribcage its and burned with a blue flame which assaulting it's soul. The S3 rolled on the floor to dislodge the dagger and succeed, but it was very easy to target now.

Shuai: "HOI, JOSO, KETSU, METSU!"

Shuai caught the rolling S3 within a kekkai cube and as swiftly as possible he tried to collapse it with the zombie within. Shuai's Kekkai was not too powerful just yet, but it would seriously wound the S3 with its weak defense, but unfortunately it was not fast enough. As the kekkai began to decompress and was set to collapse, the S3 broke out of the cube. The S3 revealed that the Kekkai's weakness and Shuai cursed loudly. It was all too easy to shatter a hasty casted Kekkai like the one he had used to trap the S3. Shuai could had made a more powerful one, but it would have took time he didn't have to capitalize on the S3 moment of weakness.

Jin SL: (Still, good job Shuai! Hikari! Hurry and cast the speed and stamina buff on Kisara and Connor. Additionally use Breath of the Archangel on Kisara as well!"

No one knew or saw where Jin was at that moment, but he began relaying orders to everyone over Soul Link and everyone without time to ask why complied. The S3 saw movement from Team Japan, but even if it knew what was going on it was too late. After escaping Shuai's Kekkai and regaining its freedom the S3 felt something was wrong with its footing and looking at the ground it saw a layer of ice covering the street and slowly crawling up its legs. The S3 saw the crisis it was in seeing the ice trying to seal its movements and clawed at the ice to break through, but as it freed one leg it felt a numbness overcome its remaining left arm. Till that moment it didn't feel anything strange, but it saw a adamantium needle stabbed into its arm dripping a sinister liquid. Sachi was seriously injured by the pervious attack and was hard for her to even breath, but she was not one to be effected by mere pain and took a chance to throw her needles coated in Basilisk venom. The S3 screamed and forced its arm to move and freed itself from the ice and began run away. The Z3 watching the battle through the S3's eyes saw it's chances of victory slim to none and ordered the S3 to flee.

Kisara: "You don't get to flee vile undead!"

Kisara bathed in the light of magic buffs and refreshed by Breath of the Archangel stood back up and gave chase to the S3. She chased after the S3 with Accel, but the S3's ghostly speed and head start allowed it gain a 400 meter head start!

Shuai: "Gnome!"

Gnome by Shuai's side raised its hands and given access to a large amount of her master Spiritual Power summoned a large 100 meter tall eath wall that went from one side of the street to the other. The S3 sneered at this obstacle and prepared to climb the earth wall. It's wall crawling speed was hardly inferior to its running speed and its claws could easily scale rocks, so the extreme Agility Type zombie felt it could easily escape, but once more it felt that something was wrong. A weight, no a force was pulling the S3 backwards towards Team Japan, more specifically, the man equipped with a green arm length gauntlet with his palm facing forward.

Drake: "There's a hierarchy to things, undead. Our boss's third woman says you can't leave just yet, so you don't get to! Hand of Polaris!"

Drake with his Innocence to control vectors of the soul poured all his Faith Energy into his Innocence weapon to drag the S3 back. The S3 resisted with all its might and even if it was not a S3, it possess physical might to resist the pull of Hand of Polaris and was about to break free, but-

- *BANG*!

It's movements temporary halted during this struggle, leaving the S3 wide open for Team Japan child soldier sniper. 1000 meters away on the rooftop of a building Connor laid flat on the floor with the Anti-Material Rifle pointed at the extreme Agility Type zombie and was dyed in a blood red color of Demonic Energy. The S3 felt someone aiming at it from a distance and tried to swipe the bullet in mid flight, but a pair of demonic eyes stunned the S3 in its place. The best it could now do was cover it's head and upper body with it claw, and so Connor fired a single shot, a Mid Grade Magic Bullet blowing off the left leg of the S3.

Kisara: "Double Accel!"

Now 250 meters away from the S3 and seeing the enemy left crippled, Kisara dashed forward at her fastest speed without care for her body's condition. Entering Double Accel Kisara's body was veiled in a myriad of radiant lights and shot forward in a flash, and she would reach the S3 in than 5-8 seconds. The S3 knew this as well and gave up trying to escape. In its current condition it couldn't escape death, so it prepared take Kisara down with it. Kisara saw the S3 raise it's right hand claw now glowing with light that was ready to slash down into her neck without a moments delay and she despaired. Additionally, a strange lifeform burst from its chest, strengthening and even slowly healing the S3. Kisara's Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu training to see through the enemy's attacks and thoughts foretold of what would was going to happen if she didn't stop. She would die. This claws of the S3 would extend, swing down like lightning and take her life the moment she closed in. Kisara had a new sword technique still in reserve, yet she felt even with that it would end up as a mutual exchange where the S3 and herself would take each other's lives.

Kisara: (Faster! Faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster!!!"

Kisara screamed from the depth of her soul for a faster speed. A speed which would allow her to utterly surpass the S3 to the level that the extreme Agility Type undead could even hope for a mutual exchange after accepting death. Kisara wished to become light itself to surpass all her foes... and her prayers were answered in the form of her mutation and energy violently clashing around her feet and legs. The shoes on her feet and the skin of her legs burst open. Blood sprayed, but only for a moment as a silver light taking physical shape manifested, covering the tips of her toes to just above her knee caps. A pair of silver boots glowing with a purple light of Nen wrapped themselves around Kisara's feet and when her feet now touched the floor her speed shot up substantially by 5 fold.

Kisara: (Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu, Kuzuryusen (Nine-Headed Dragon Flash)!!!)

Unaware of what was occur to herself Kisara executed her strongest and fastest sword technique... and entered the realm of gods. A world where everything came to a halt and only speed existed and the restrictions of the world left behind. At true godspeed Kisara unleashed a dashing strike upon the S3 unable to even twitch it's eye as she closed in. An undodgeable and nearly unblockable dashing attack of speed, weight, and force, only inferior to Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu's successor technique. Kisara along with her katana spit into nine after images striking the S3 simultaneously at nine points/nine heads.

Karatake (Tang Bamboo/Tree Trunk Bamboo) - Aimed at above head with downward strike.

Sakagesagiri (Inverted Kasaya Cutter) - Aimed at right shoulder diagonally.

Miginagi (Right Mower) - Aimed at right arm's center from the side.

Migikiriage (Right Cutting Upward) - Aimed at right arm's bottom/right wrist diagonally.

Sakakaze ( Inverted Wind) - Aimed at groin area from below via upward stroke, or straight from front.

Hidarikiriage (Left Cutting Upward) - Aimed at left arm's bottom/left wrist diagonally.

Hidarinagi (Left Mower) - Aimed at left arm's center from the side.

Kesagiri (Kasaya Cutter) - Aimed at left shoulder diagonally.

Tsuki/Shitotsu (Thrusting/Thorn Stab) - Aimed at center of chest, at breastbone.

Regardless if those body targets were still there it wouldn't matter. There were still nine sword attacks thrown out at godspeed that met no resistance and the S3 was slain. No one else watching the battle saw what Kisara did and only saw the aftermath of her, now wearing silver boots radiating purple light leaving behind a scorched path on the earth, passing by the S3 which body parts were flying through the air severed and in pieces, along with the unknown organism that made an appearance at the last second now left dead. As for Kisara her muscles were swelled and her skin was burned black and screaming from entering a realm of speed her body wasn't just ready yet to withstand. She then feel unconscious once the pain hit her, yet unlike her opponent she was still alive.
