The Genetic Constraint Report #1
The Genetic Constraint - Code in the human genes preventing humans from evolving further. Unlocking the Genetic Constraint, also called Unlocked Mode, will allow a person to break free of the coding and realize their full potential both physically and mentally, and call forth experience from ones ancestry, both human and otherwise. Unlocking the GC comes at the cost of releasing poison into the system which can kill a person as it breaks down one's genetics to force an evolution, although with enough experience and enhanced stats the effects can be lessened. Each stage unlocks a new ability outside from the Exchange System and allows one to further unlock the potential of enhancements beyond what a normal human can achieve.
There are two type of users of the Genetic Constraint: The Technical Type and The Instinctive Type.
The Technical type - Are more in control of their selves while in Unlocked Mode, can turn it on and off at will and are more tolerant of the recoil. Technical Types have much more control, but it come at the cost of them being less sensitive to fear and death, hypothesized to slow down the growth speed/depth of the Unlocked Mode.
The Instinctive Type - Are less in control of Unlocked Mode and for them it is harder to enter the state and will normal active in extreme danger. In return, they can enter a deeper level of Unlocked Mode then the Technical Type who have control and are more likely to reach the next Stage faster. Also, with experience it may become possible to go in and out of Unlocked Mode by one's will power. It is hypothesized that the Instinctive Type who are more sensitive to fear is the reason for the power of their Unlocked Mode.

There are five stages of the Genetic Constraint before man is predicted to evolve to the next stage.
STAGE 1: The first stage of the GC Unlocked Mode that allows one to operate their body on a higher level, both physically and mentally, shut off emotion and recall instincts from past generations. After reaching this stage it is possible to operate one's body to the very limit one step away from the GC. The recoil from the Stage 1 causes indescribable pain throughout the body.
STAGE 2: The second stage of the GC Unlocked Mode that allows the user to forcefully push the body beyond 100% power and have absolute control of the body with the exception of the brain, including muscles for power and partial control of the nervous system to increase reaction speed. When additional force beyond 100% is summoned in any limb it will expand to more then twice it's original size. A stronger recoil then Stage 1 that might cause temporary paralysis.
STAGE 3: Unknown.
STAGE 4: Unknown.
STAGE 5: The last stage of the Genetic Constraint. It is unknown what form it will take, but it has been hypothesized that once this stage is reached, that person will reach the next stage of evolution and cease to be human and will become something else entirely.

The Worldforge: Warlock Rising
Abandoned as an orphan, Mar was tested for magic by the Mages of Orelm and was found to possess immense magical potential, but when he grew old enough to start his training he found he was unable to cast so much as a single spell! Embarrassed by their mistake, the mages threw him in the library where he read books and tutored the mage students for a bit of money. All the while, he can’t help but envy the the students who are living the life he had so eagerly awaited. But when an object of great and malevolent power promises to make good on all the promises the mages broke to him Mar is thrust into the world of magic. Mar will find that fate had something more than a life confined to the library planned for him after all. Authors Notes: I consider this to be a comming-of-age Sword and Sorcery story based mostly on the style of classic western fantasies. So if that's your thing then I encourage you to take a peek. Something I want to mention though is that the main character starts of pretty wimpy, and that might not be your thing. That being said, if you stick with him he's got a long way to grow. Also, while this version of the story is meant to be fully readable, more dicerning readers may want to wait until I move out of rough draft phase. There may be some inconsistancies with character and plot while I am still in the rough draft phase. I'm sorry for this, but this is my first web novel and from what I've read the best way to get a good novel out is to write write write, and then edit ruthlessly after you're finished with the book, so that's the plan I'm going to follow. Again, this is a rough draft. Everything you are reading is subject to change, including the name, title, and cover photo. This may no longer be the case once I've decided I know where this fiction is going and I have a reasonable understanding of the characters and their behavior. You're reading what comes off my keyboard as it's made, with very limited editing. There will be mistakes in the text. I do a quick spell check to take out the worst of the errors, but there will be some I miss. You can point them out in the comments if they are particularly confusing or glaring and I will try to fix them, however I am not overly concerned about minor errors as this is not the final draft by any means.
