Chapter 05
HUH......If I'm unconscious then
'Why the Hell does it hurt so much?!'
Wait, I can feel something, leaning against my face. So, I guess I'm not unconscious...but Why can't I see anything...
My hands fly to my face, and sure enough.OMG! That B*tch!!. She popped my F*(#*NG EYES OUT!!. What is she, Superman?!!
CRAP!!. Regenerating them is going to take a good amount of time, and unnecessary pain but. Just because I don't have eyes, Doesn't mean I can't see. Eyes are a luxury, not a necessity
I released my aura, letting it envelop everything around me. Time slowed as my aura pressed against every surface giving me a detailed layout of my surroundings
Using you aura like this was extremely useful as you became able to see in every direction at the same time, but it only worked if you had a strong enough aura to actually reach any distance and it's other drawback was that it allowed people to see what kind of person you really are. An aura is literally the shadow\light of your soul. So, most people refused to use it, because they all had secrets they wanted to hide. But I was rather up front and didn't hide the fact that I was a sociopathic killer, with many, many deaths to my name.
The elf who attacked me was running towards me, but she had stopped before my aura even reached her. Probably because of the numerous tentacles that had ripped through her chest. AHHH. Good old Navaris.
I grinned. It had been forever since someone had ambushed me. Let alone managed to actually give me a decent injury. Soon she would start wishing she had never been born.
I had a really large stinking headache. And the cause of it was right in front of me. I was thoroughly pissed off and decided then and there to give her a fate worse than death. Oh Yeah, I was going to enjoy this one.
Sirenia POV
This is what she should look like -

I leapt into the air and spun, giving extra force to my swords as I prepared to decapitate the fool who tried to enslave my sister.
Angeline saw me a moment before I took off his head and screamed something about stopping, but it was too late. This fool had to die.
But something inexplicable happened. My swords, which could cut through a tree with a 3-foot diameter, were unable to break his skin, instead his body was flung away with enough force to shatter boulders.
Weird. He must have had some magic protection.I turned to make sure he was dead, only to see him get up off the ground like nothing had happened.
Impossible, I won't fail this time. Even as I charged at him I noticed that he had no eyes. Huh, he doesn't stand a chance. I thought as I charged him.
Only to be stopped by some type of tentacle or vines. That ripped through my chest, somehow avoiding all my necessary organs, and only dealing an enormous amount of pain.
I had opened my mouth to scream, when I sensed something. It was horrible, Evil, Vile, and Absolutely Terrifying. My body was shaking so hard I could barely turn my head to locate the source. And what I saw was something that ripped away the hope for any chance for escape or survival.

The "fool" was standing and his aura had enveloped everything around him. I had never even heard of an aura as strong as his.....Even the masters were only able to create an aura for a few feet around themselves. While his spread for at least several hundred feet in every direction.
But that wasn't enough to induce this bone-shattering fear. It was not the size of the aura but the aura itself, that created such paralyzing fear. I could not move even if I tried to .It had robbed me of the will to do anything, even the will to live.
I looked into the aura and would have screamed in horror. If I could move or make a sound. What I saw was a sea of corpses, and blood. There were so many. So many dead. How does a person even manage to kill so many people. It was terrifying. I saw some of them clawing at him, trying to escape the hell they were stuck in.
Then he smiled. He smiled as numerous corpses clawed at him, trying to tear him apart. smiled while he stood in a sea of death.
It was then I realized that he enjoyed this. He enjoyed inflicting pain, and watching us suffer. He enjoyed our fear, our despair. It was a drug to him, addicting him and forcing him to always crave more. Whoever this "Fool" was, he was a sadistic and cruel bastard, who cared nothing for the lives of others. My mind tried to flee, to escape and leave this horrible reality. I tried to escape to the dreamworld, so I could convince myself that this was all a nightmare.
But it couldn't, dark terrifying magic gripped my mind and forced me to stay conscious. He was approaching me, I could do nothing but stare in ever increasing horror. He whispered to me, in my mind.
'You are strong. Most people kill themselves out of pure terror, when they see it. You are either really strong or really dumb.
You will regret the day you attacked me. Because I am going to give you a fate far worse than death, although, In the end you may rejoice, Simply because you cannot fathom life without me, because I will strip away everything that makes you exist, and alter your very soul. You will still exist, but your current identity will be destroyed. My name is Azran, and I am the Magic King of Darkness. When I am done, You will bow before me, and you will enjoy it.
I shivered when I heard this, because I knew it was true. He held so much power, so much dormant potential. He could do anything he wanted to, and no one would be able to stop him.
As I stared at him another voice sounded inside my mind.
'Do not think you will get off so easy. You have harmed that which is mine, and I am going to make you suffer for it'
Somehow the voice was even more terrifying than Azran's. It held not a promise but simple knowledge. It did not threaten, it merely stated the fact. It was similar to Azran but the voice held such depth. It was ageless, It had always existed, and it always would.
It was then that I realized that I was unfortunate enough to have attacked an unbeatable monster and angered a God. Despair coursed through my veins as a vicious smile ripped across Azran's face.
"Well now, Let us begin"
I tried in vain to scream at least once, but I was to late. Total darkness enveloped me, and it was then I knew true despair.

An eternity has passed. I am still in the dark
My body is constantly wracked with horrific pain.
A thousand red hot needles are piercing my skin.
My bones are being broken and healed.
Constantly.
He visits me sometimes, and when he does,
the pain lessens.
I used to curse, to swear at him. But I am desperate for company.
The lonliness is destroying my will, my mind has been driven to the brink of sanity.
I begin to long for his company.
For the lessening of pain.
'I told you I would not let you off easy'
Another voice echoes throug the Darkness. I scream as the skin peels off my body, and my flesh melts off my bones. But I am still alive, I cannot die, My body heals, Only For it to begin again.
I call for him.
I want him to come, to take away the pain.
I can't even remember why I hated him. All I want is for the pain to go away. I know he is dominating me, controlling me. But I don't care. I just want him, He takes away the pain.
He came for me. He made the pain go away.
He showed me pleasure. I have never felt so much pleasure.
My body begins to ache for him. I am becoming addicted to his presence.
I cannot stop. I want more.
Anything.
I would give anything. Just to be close to him.
He offered me something. It is called a soul contract. It says that I will never betray, or attempt o harm him.
It says that I will always obey him.
I am insulted. I would never betray him. He brings me pleasure to replace the pain.
He smiled at me. He said he knows. But someone could take control of my mind. They could try and force my body to attack him.
Then I would be sad. Because I would feel like I betrayed him.
I understand now. He is offering this to me, for me.
It is to protect me from his enemies. He is kind. So kind.
I accept the contract. I can feel him. I can hear his thoughts. He can hear mine. Now we will never be apart.
He said he is going to awaken my body. I smile. I can hear his thoughts.
He will never abandon me. And all I have to do, is obey him. He is so kind.
Another voice whispers to me. It is the scary voice.
It says that I can become closer to Him. I pause, then I decide.
I will listen to the scary voice, because I can endure anything. As long as He cares for me.
The voice tells me things. And I listen.
Azran POV
I sighed as I leaned back. That was definitely exhausting. Exerting that much control over something for several hours was draining by itself. But I had been controlling at least fifty different high-level spells for several hours.
One of them was a time control spell. So while only a few hours passed in reality, Sirenia was living through several hundred thousand years of mental conditioning.
That was enough to break the mind of even a decently old dragon. Well I had fullfilled my word and gave her a fate worse than death. A couple hundred thousand years of torturing someone continuosly tended to take the edge off your anger.
She had far more strength than I had imagined. Which was one of the reasons I had offered her a Soul contract. Another was that I needed a guide and source of information on this world.
I needed to know who I could anger, before I took any sudden, drastic measures or movements. Well, As long as we forget the massacre at the castle. But I had been planning on returning after it was done, so I had no reason to care. At least originally.
Unlike a Slave contract, which merely forces a single party to submit. A Soul Contract binds the souls of two different people. It affected me as well as her.
Of course the effect was smaller on me, but from this point on, I would be unable to simply view her as another life that had no real value to me. Instead I would care for her, at least to a certain degree, because she was now literally a part of my existence. I could survive without her, but It would be vastly uncomfortable and a portion of my soul would die with her.
Huh. Am I developing some sort of caring mentality? If I am, that's more than a little scary. I live apart from other people because I do not know how I would react, if someone I cared about was to die. I don't know what would happen.
It was horrible watching George almost die. I don't think I could survive another such experience. At least not without losing the little humanity I have left.
I glanced over at Angeline. Who had been sleeping for the entire time, and dispelled the sleep spell I had on her, releasing her into a normal sleep instead of a magically forced one..
I then looked towards Sirenia, who was beginning to awaken. She sat up and groaned as she stretched her muscles before looking around frantically, searching for someone.
Ah her eyes met mine and she smiled in relief, before blurring towards me.
'It looks like her speed has doubled', was my last coherent thought before I was wrapped up in a giant bear hug.
"You came for me! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you."
Huh. Did I overdue her attachment to me. Maybe I should have made it a little less extreme. No. I didn't make it extend this far. So that means, Navaris must have done something. Damn. I can never understand how she thinks, maybe this is for her amusement.
CRAAACCCKKK! I swear she just broke three of my ribs. Oh well. I'm not really worried because she is incapable of trying to inflict harm on me, although her over-eager attitude could wind up breaking a couple of bones.
"Sirenia, would you mind releasing me, before you break any more bones.."
"Of course. My deepest apologies"
She leapt backwards and bowed deeply, with a rather horrified look on her face.
I glanced over at Navaris. It looks like she is trying to hide a smile. So this was for her amusement.
I sigh and look back at Sirenia who is still bowing.
"Don't worry about it. Now I suppose we should head towards your village and return you sleeping sister."
"Of course. Umm, Can I tell you something?"
"Sure. What is it"
"I look forward to serving you as your second wife!"
"Sure, Sure"
Wait. What did she just say?
"WHAT THE HELL!!!!"
My shout echoed throughout the forest, sending birds flying out of their trees and animals running for their dens.
