I allowed myself to head once again to the cave where the totem was located. While doing so I have also summoned back my familiars. I feel almost naked without them by my side.
The good thing is that this madness is finally over. I will cast some protective spell through the totem… maybe some barrier-like? That will make entering the forest more annoying? I have enough guests for some time… And then I will be able to relax! First of all I will take a really long bath! Then, I will eat some delicious food… maybe well done this time? Just to change the monotony of life… with seed creation and boost acceleration I will grow some plants… maybe spices?
And then! I will take a whole week of doing absolutely nothing!!! And…
“If I may… master…” Sebastian has stopped my inner monologue “I think I can tell what are you thinking about… And I have to disappoint you. You have almost died while fighting with the last two assassins… you have grown a bit too arrogant. Just because you are under protection and you do not encounter stronger foes right now… It may change anytime soon. This is why I decided that starting from today I will take direct responsibility for your physical training. From morning till dusk we will train your body and every two days we will go on a hunt to find some more animals that will boost your overall fighting adaptability.
NOO! GOD! PLEASE! NO! gimme a weak of break!
~ That’s actually pretty wise. Very well. I shall not lose to this oversized bird. As you will be done with exercises we will take an hour or two to train your magic. Using me in battle can change most difficult fights into some childish brawls, but if somebody else would notice you possessing a grimoire like me… You can’t depend on me all the time…

Hello darkness my old friend… I’ve come to talk with you again… And here my days off are lost and gone.
Weeping silently over my freedom lost I continued my journey down a dark, dim, depressing corridor. The spell won’t cast itself.
Pov change
Do you remember explosions that were approaching from the east? The very reason of those explosions was now traveling with us. Not that we had anything to say about it.
Imagine our surprise when some bullet like existence fell from the sky a few dozen meters from us, creating a hole in the ground that has a 4 meters radius and then casually, like it was nothing demanded to show her the way to the forest.
I was excited, but my companions frightened. And by frightened I mean completely terrified, as a priest in the presence of devils. Later I was told (they were whispering to each another) that as they are followers of the infamous devourers, she was his exact counterpart.
Devourer or not, she was another being that I tried convincing in supporting my mistress… and I was ignored. She didn’t even looked at me, but her very presence was enough for me to never ask her again.
I needed to ask. Even if I already know.
“May we know the reason of your journey?” “I need to meet a certain man. And by looking at your… “companions”… I can tell that we are looking the very same man.” “He was born not so long ago… “ the harpy was whispering to the others beastmens ”I doubt that at the moment he will be able to confront her… if the situation will turn dire we will have to..” “You will do nothing” Looks like our newest companion has more than excellent hearing “For you will be unable to do anything. I came to judge him, and as after a fair process he will be found guilty I will make him perish.”
…it’s not exactly fair process if you already know that he will be guilty. I will have to find something to convince her of letting him go. If I do so, he we be in debt to me and I will drag him along to the demon continent… I know what has to be done… but how to persuade her? Which argument needs to be used?

Later I will have to talk with my teammates. I have to hear all the legends about these two. Maybe there is something I will find useful…
Pov change.
The forest was covered in mist. It was a tricky one. What was the odd part about the mist was that the animals behave almost as if the mist was not there. They could see through it without any problems. But the more “intelligent” the creature was the more tricky the mist was, up to the point where creatures as humans would suffer various hallucinations. They would walk in a circle losing there path over and over again. The dreadful forest got even more dangerous… As long as you are not the caster of spell that caused the mist. For that certain druid had no problems with moving in his own territory…
But the behavior of already mentioned druid was also odd. Because why would one drag a stone of that size while moving in a circle? To understand the meanings behind those acts, we have to listen carefully to the voices inside of his head…
~You must be swift as a coursing river!
~ With all the force of a great typhoon!
~ With all the strength of a raging fire!
~Mysterious as the dark side of …
~THE MOOOOON!
Are you enjoying yourself?
~Do not lose your focus! There are still 2 circles left! Keep breathing!
You are heartless…
~Better keep moving or Sebastian will make you do some punishment exercises… again
~And do not forget that you are forbidden of getting back home before he is finished with you… I mean before he will finish your training session…
Somehow I think that your first sentence was correct.
~Do remember that we are not allowed to eat anything before you are done! And we love eating, don’t we?!
Give… me… a break… Why did I have to be tied up with those ungrateful sins? Where is Sloth, when he is needed?!
~She. Sloth is a Sin with a female mind and behavior.
Strange… I used to think that women are usually more hardworking…
~Do you know what women truly want? Deepest in their heart?
Now, I am curious, I would love to hear the mind of woman about that matter, Pride.
~WE WANT TO EAT WHATEVER WE WANT AND NOT GET FAT!
‘Scuse me?
“Master… Do you mind telling me why did you stop moving?”
Oh fuck…
~Now… you are in deep shit…
“Looks like you are exhausted… very well. 10 minutes break for you.”
No way… this can’t be happening… HALLELUJAH! My prayers has been answered!
“ And then we will proceed to the harder exercises…”
Haha… I am dead…
I was getting closer and closer to the place where my house was supposed to be located. Why “was supposed”? Because from exhaustion I pay barely any attention to where I was heading.
The codex was merciful enough to spare her part of my training for today
I have no idea what was guiding my corpse… sorry, I meant body, but after some time I could see a familiar tree with a familiar hut. I do not remember how I climbed there, but as I opened the door, I was greeted by a certain green-head.
“W..W…w…welcome back…” She was even more nervous that I remembered her to be “Y…y…You look exhausted… do you want to take a bath… o…o..oor maybe dinner…” Now she got completely red on her face… “Or maybe m…” “A bath…” I whined and collapsed at the very opening of the house
