After I absorbed wolf’s core I noticed also other side-effect. My heart was pounding. My mind was both calm and crazy at the same time… strange, huh? I was looking around, seeing every single object that normally I would ignore, but in same time I was seeking… what was I looking for? EVERYTHING! Just a moment ago I was both angry and scared as…. As something very scared! No questioning! Just scared! Period! Now, the fear was replaced by… excitement?

I wanted to find him! I knew it was crazy… but still… before shapefit I was looking on powerful enemies as threat… now they were worthy preys… just trophy that I want to possess. I was not crazy! Yet. Book-chan mentioned making other cores to store instincts in those. May be good idea. I still remember my fight with Behemoth. It was stupid. I do overpowered it, but I was playing around just to please myself, instead of killing it right on spot. It was stupid! Idiotic! I put everyone in danger! It only need one strike to kill me. yet I was playing over and over again! I don’t want it… But it was powerful werewolf variant… My core is too weak to allow me to turn into werewolf, so I still have time. I will do it. Right after I would leave this dungeon.

I was sitting in adventure guild. I have separated with Hanna yesterday. I have registered myself then too. I was given G rank. It’s normal. Everyone gets it as they first time sign in. No matter your race, family connections. Bribes wouldn’t give you anything too. You want to rank up? Go on missions. Everyone can take a job that is rank higher than his own. It means I can take a F rank missions now too. If I would do certain number of F missions, I would be promoted by two ways: or was my powers measured by appraisal stone and then I would be spared with instructor who would decide if I am good enough for promotion, or could take a “promotion mission”. Very dangerous one but also with nice rewards.

I have already finished my first job – herbs collection. Piece of cake if you know where to look for them. And who can be better is knowing grown spots of herbs than witch? Salary is pretty nice. I will not buy a house for now, but it can easily cover inn rent with food and something extra. Now I just want to get drunk.

Finally… you had no idea, what kind of pain it was to fight with those two races instincts! The wolf was yelling to bite the throat and bleed them out, while Deer wanted a “clean” duel while charging at enemy… and when you would combine those two… My head wanted to explode! It was like those two were rejecting each other all the time. I hit max level of DNA storage of wolf kin… I have no idea how many of them I ate… I am just 6 floors deeper, at 8th now. No Boss for now. If book-chan was not lying to me it should get better as I would separate body of those monster from their instincts. I get stronger a bit… in the end the number of monsters, their power and… diversity was only improving. Have you ever seen an undead Dog sized spider? I did… what is worth mentioning?

Me leveling up? Twice? Improving dagger mastery to level 5? As I did, I get passive skill [Weakness Sensing] that was allowing me to see most valuable spots to hit, as well as some place that were not guarded. It will be great in duels. Yup, it merged with [Predatory]… actually all skill that look in any way connected with predator way of working were merging with it!! It’s a good thing and bad in the same time. Good, because as I use one, the whole skill would level up so I get stronger in every aspect, bad because as I would normally level up my night vision like 10 times… the skill itself leveled twice… so my sight here is still not as good as it should be. BUT all other senses raised to, which is nice. Bow usage is 7… and I have 3 arrows left… meditation 3, fire magic 4… not much change here. No new manifestation, just upgrade of already existing – fire orb has became will-o'-the-wisp… difference? Those are blue… and moving like mad. Looks like they have same purpose for fire mages as ravens for summoners – scout. They are brighter but have one, wonderful ability! They can attack! If they do they will vanish, but will change enemy into beautiful walking torch. A good ability! Finally! Then I got [Hand to Hand Combat – beginner] that hit level 2. Healing is 3 with a very weak “purify” effect… can weakened effect of curses, in future maybe take them off completely. Mana shock wave is 3… and singing hit 10… as I did it I got notification saying, that from this points my songs will be considered as good one, and will have greater effects… YOU WANT TO TELL ME I WAS BAD BACK THEN?! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! WHERE DO YOU HAVE EARS IF YOU CAN’T NOTICE IT?!?!

Let me just tell you, that I got 2 str and vit from deer dude, and 3 point dex and ref from wolves. Then it said that core is to weak and have to improve them in order to gain more DNA.

Huh, Sebastian? Yes, he evolved, no there was no Sweet Pink Raven option. What he is now? [The Omen of Chaos]. YES! IT SOUNDS COOL! So great, that even as I wanted to change him in the way for him to be disgraced, I simply couldn’t pick anything else! On the other hand I could pick [Black Raven] and [Plague Bringer]… not so great.

Sooo my current forms? This is me now. Like some kind of devil from mythology back from Earth. This is why I called this form [Fiend]. In this form I also gained… a body size. It’s… a horse size. Great in forest… a bit harder in small corridors. Even as it’s named Fiend… it has till long way to go to fit into beliefs and mythology.
