《I will absolutely cultivate》34.5 : Training

After Rui Wei has given Sona permission to train, she did not immediately go out of the Capital and instead visited the Raven's House Her young mistress had said that she would gain nothing from Raven's House, Sona had thought that Rui Wei was advising her from Rui Wei's perspective and taking into account the gap of strength between them, she had thought that the Raven;s house would be suitable for her warm up.
The Raven's House is the largest crime syndicate in the Dragonsvein Kingdom, they have existed from the very start, building a solid foundation inside the Dragonsvein Kingdom, of course, most Princes of the Dragonsvein Kingdom uses the Raven's house to do their dirty jobs.
The Raven's house owns an underground Martial Arena called 'Abyssal Feather' where they host a competition between 'Martial Artists'.
Abyssal Feather; fighters lounge.
On the backstage where the fighters are located before their fight, there was a short person clad in a dark-brown cloak, this person had only opened their mouth when they had registered their number, the short cloaked person slightly lifted the cloak and his eyes flashed with the desire to win! This person was none other than Sona!
"Winner, Old Liu!" from the backstage one could hear the announcers voice, and the cheers of audiences voices echoing.
"Now then, on the next round! On the Red side, we have a newcomer, one who is surnamed So!" Once the announcer finished his sentence, Sona started to enter the Arena. The Audience curiously looked at the newcomer and couldn't help but heatedly debate as to what kind of Martial Artist this newcomer is.
"Heh, with that short stature he must be specialized in daggers and stuff right? After all, how would he expect to reach his opponent in time?"
"It could be a lance, a long sword, whip etc. for all we know."
"Yup, there are a lot of other long-distance weapons other than daggers, which are more convenient,"
The Audiences debated on themselves, but unknown to them, the person clad in the cloak, could hear them clearly, and Sona could not help but scoff at the audience's narrow views on Martial Arts.

"On the Blue side, we have a veteran fighter 'Leopard Mo'!" Finishing his sentence the announcer leaped out of the stage and stood at the side of the audience. While the new Martial Artist entered the stage.
'Leopard Mo' jumped in the air and rotated three times before landing on the stage, five steps away from his opponent, looking at the body difference, one could not help but pity Sona, as she barely reached Leopard Mo's shoulders.
'Too flashy.' Sona held Leopard Mo's move in disdain.
*Gong*
The gong was hit, indicated that the fight had started. But the two Martial Artist did not move an inch, they were sizing each other.
"Hey--" Leopard Mo was about to say something but his words were cut off as the figure in front of him disappeared, Sona moved and intended to attack Leopard Mo's head to knock him out, unfortunately, Leopard Mo reacted in time as he immediately blocked the incoming attack with his arms.
*Bam*
Leopard Mo's large stature flew several meters before coming to a stop, this greatly shocked the Audiences.
"Ohhh!!!" Most of the Audiences were impressed by Sona's physical strength.
"This Martial Artist is not simple!" while some Audiences interest was immediately piqued. One should know that many commoners on the Dragonsvein Kingdom did not have a cultivation Level and could be barely called a Martial Artists, while most people only had a cultivation level of 1-4, which is held in contempt within the cultivation world. From, the spectators, it was rare for them to see a person like Sona, who did not have protruding muscles like the normal Martial Artist, but still held enormous strength.
"You're good," Sona said in a low voice, as she took a stance. Sona praised Leopard Mo, as she knew that this man in front of her did not even have any cultivation level. He had only tempered his mortal body and did not touch his dantian which stored the spirit Qi.
Leopard Mo was known for his great speed, but as Martial Artist who did not have a rank, he was nothing in front of Sona.

Earlier, Leopard Mo still wanted to go easy on his opponent as he was afraid that he might kill him, although Leopard Mo is a veteran fighter inside the Arena he had never unnecessarily delivered a finishing blow on his opponent and simply defeated them.
But looking at the current situation he was quite baffled, with his opponent's small stature.
How did he deliver such an attack?!
The arm that Leopard Mo used to block, was throbbing in pain, it felt like he was hit by a metal!
Sona did not wait for Leopard Mo to recover his senses as she once again jumped towards him.
*fwiiish*
*thud*
This time, her speed was much faster than Leopard Mo, he did not even know what had hit him as he blacked out. Leopard Mo's large stature fell down, and the small figure clad in a cloak stood on his fallen body.
"OOOOHHH!!!"
"AMAZING!!"
"GO, NOVICE!"
The audiences were pumped up at the sight of impossible, for them, it should have been impossible for such a person with a small stature to beat someone much larger than them in a fair fight.
'Hmp.' Sona, was disappointed. She had thought that the Martial Artists here would at least have a skill or two, but this one had only barely blocked her attack.
'I should not have come here, and directly went to the borderline.' In the end, she had to finish the battle as conceding would scratch her pride as a previous mercenary.
Sona finished her fights in a blow or two, which garnered much support from the audience, and from here, she had earned absurd titles from the spectators, such as 'Reaper' or 'Asura'.
*
The borderline of the Dragonsvein Kingdom is the 'Fu Village' which is pretty much abandoned, only a few people live in this village and most of them are criminals or outcasts from the capital. Of course, people who live here are strong, their daily lives contain of eating blades (aka, in constant danger).
Since this place is a place where only criminals lives, the Kingdom did not also waste their resources on it, as they let it be. Which is why the magical beasts from the forests come down from time to time to wreck havoc on this small village. There were no Ranked cultivators who are charitable enough to fend off these magical beasts so the villagers could only hide.
Sona looked at her surroundings, the village- no, it would be more fitting if this was called a Ruined Village. The houses were all torn apart, and only small portions were left, there were remains of abandon objects littered everywhere, one could see that the items were left some years ago.
*ROOOOOAAAAR*
A roar of a beast echoed. Sona immediately made her way to the source of the roar.
'If I'm not wrong, it's a Wild Boar.'
As Sona neared the source of the roar, she felt that something was off. The beast's roar was weakening. At first, the roar was fierce and aggressive, but now it was soft and low, as if--
"..." Sona was dumbstruck at the scene that is being displayed in front of her.
Two wild boars were roaring unceasingly. One boar on the top and one below.
They were mating.
"SIZZLING PORK!" Sona's eyes twitches, she clenched her teeth as she threw a punch on the male boar, the two boars flew out of impact.
Sona's hands moved at a lightning speed as she cast a fire spell.
A/n: although Sona's affinity is Earth, that does not necessarily mean that she cannot use fire element.
Sona finished roasting the two wild boars and she couldn't help but touch her head as she mumbled.
'What is wrong with today?'
