Character Names

Players may now elect to use their party chat labels in place of the formally formatted first name/last name they chose at character creation. This has been implemented in response to the overwhelming results in favor of it at the First Launch Anniversary Celebration survey event.

Alan Smith (AVATARS): This was such a bonehead move there’s nothing lore-friendly about having “KnobGobbler69” in your party.

Sean Amherst (BRINE): I’m sure they’ll implement some kind of check for offensive names.

Star_Vixen9 (DELTA): Your old-world names mean nothing to us, the tribes of the new nations will call themselves what they like.

Alan Smith (AVATARS): Whatever, but it’s going to start looking dumb.

KnobGobbler (LA_ASTRA): Thank you for the suggestion, it’s perfect.
