*Tock, Tock, Tock, Tock, Tock, Tock, Tock, Tock*
Alviona woke up the moment her mother and Anita went to the 2nd floor to discuss the deceleration of time. As she opened her eyes and came to her senses, an unknown sensation jolted through her body. After a brief moment, the feeling settled in and was now part of her.
Overflowing with curiosity, she mentally issued the command, a technique that she was well accustomed to. As the process began, Alviona’s current status and condition were displayed in her mind.

{(End of Report)}
I see. So that was what I felt. It was the time stop. Hmm. I can probably wait for 56 hours then. But first, what is this tickling sensation? Aaah, this is too pleasant! Thought Alviona, as she lay on her bed.
The report that she had read did not contain any information that she was unfamiliar with. For a child that was only one year and three months old, her self-awareness was very high.
Now then, let me think about what to do once the time resumes. Hmmm. Aha! Of course! I will bite Piu’s tail! Then I will play lots since I won’t get as tired. I can ask Anita to teach me how to make the water dance so that I can gift my mommy a smile. We can also eat lots and lots of food, she paused and recalled what her mother had told her a few minutes ago. No! First, I must get strong and learn everything to protect mommy. Playing will be in-between.

Alviona decided that she would rest for 56 hours, but her excitement kept her awake. When she attempted to switch her body to a different position, she felt like someone was tickling her yet again, followed by a sensation of laying on something warm and comfortable. Confused, she decided to lift her blanket and look. As she did, a magnificent sight was revealed to her eyes. Joy and delight filled her mind.
Wings?!
I have wings! She screamed in her thoughts with happiness.
Tossing the blanket away, she got up and tried to touch the wings, but ended up randomly flapping them. Frustrated, she tried again and again, but to no avail.
Noooo! Touching those limbs is too hard. I end up moving my wings too randomly. All-right me! Focus! I can do this. First, relax the body. Next, try to control them. And now…
Despite her efforts, it was still a failure. Only after a lot of trial and error through the duration of 4 hours did Alviona manage to move her wings properly and be able to reach them. It feels like I am touching something soft, and it tickles. This sensation is revitalizing.
Still too excited, she rushed towards the big mirror and got mesmerized by the sight that presented in front of her. A beautiful, pale, young elf with the height of 1.4 meters was revealed. She had an oval-shaped face, with prominent cheekbones and thin, rosy cheeks. Her small nose and prominent, crimson-colored eyebrows further added to her beauty; alongside breathtaking pink lips that resembled rounded Cupid’s bow. Alviona’s crimson-colored hair extended as far as her waistline and was curly. Small horns were slightly visible from her head. It appeared that they were still growing. The ears were just like Anita’s, long and pointy. Alviona wiggled them in excitement. Lastly, her wings were perhaps the most breath-taking sight for her as they were enormous, pitch black color, reminiscent of a universe where no light existed. A perfect and peaceful tone.
Is this figure me? She flapped her wings. Seeing that her action was mirrored in the reflection, tears welled up her face. Overfilled with joy, she burst into genuine laughter. It was the first time that she was experiencing such emotion and ended up rejoicing even more, for she had learned something new. My figure is too cute! Ah! I want to go out and try them out! I want to fly. Wait, what does that word mean? Regardless, I want to do it. I will find it out sooner or later, but since I have so much free time, might as well find it out sooner right? Okay me! Let’s go! Let's soar through the skies.
Alviona walked outside and began flapping her wings. Since they were part of her flesh now, she knew how they worked. It took her time to synchronize with the newly acquired body part correctly, but once she figured it out, she realized how to utilize her wings to perform a take-off from the ground. Slowly but gradually, Alviona began her first-time ascension to the skies. She practiced landing and taking off for 5 hours and so, a total of 10 hours of 56 have elapsed.
Now I am ready! Let’s fly! She thought as she began her take-off. Once she reached the desired altitude, she tilted her body and commenced her flight. This sensation is amazing! The wind is gently flowing against my face. My wings are wiggling in the sky, and it feels like I am swimming in the air. Ah! I want to go faster! Faster!

Her flight speed accelerated beyond reason. The scenery was also rapidly changing. She went to all the locations that were previously visited on Piu’s back. As the lake came into view, she halted the motion of her wings and allowed herself to glide. The adrenalin was pumping, and the child was getting more excited.
Satisfaction was overflowing inside her head. She was overly grateful to her creators for giving her life. To her mother for birthing her and giving her so many experiences and protecting her. Alviona was currently enjoying the life to its fullest, as she was soaring through the skies. The light of the moon that illuminated and created a reflection on the water was entrancing her mind. The scent of the forest, the cold, yet pleasant wind that flowed onto her body, and the many beautiful sights, all of this evoked an emotion of satisfaction in her mind.
As Alviona was about to turn around and fly back to Anita’s residence, her attention was captured by a new phenomenon. Despite it being night time, the road leading back to Anita’s home revealed bright daylight beyond the forest area.
Let’s see. It seems that the time is not in sync in that area and this area. Oh right, the time got decelerated for a few hours first, so that would explain this phenomenon. I want to fly over there and check it out… She checked the time displayed on the , to ensure that she still had enough time to play around. Understanding that 45 hours remained, she accelerated her flight and soon was past the forest entrance.
As the time of day shifted to late afternoon, Alviona sensed something. It was coming from some distance away. Curious, she flew towards that direction and what was unveiled in front of her was a sight of a battlefield. Various corpses of all genders were scattered all over the place. Some had wounds originating from weapons. Flames scorched some dead, and smoke was still being emitted. Interested in the situation, she decided to make a landing. Once she did, she began observing and analyzing.
This person has a massive hole in his stomach. What is this organ called? Oh, I see. Those are intestines. His insides are on the ground. She touched the face of the dead soldier. His eye sockets are damaged. His wrist is broken. Oh, there is another body over there. That woman has no head. She is wearing something sturdy.
*Clank, Clank*
Hmm. It makes that sound. Oh, what is that over there? She approached another body, that had a sword stuck in its chest. What is this? It looks funny. Alviona’s childish curiosity was aroused.
She began humming and jumping around the place. For some reason, the gore did not bother her at all. She did not have any fear of being in such an environment, nor did she harbor any feelings for the dead. At some point, she stopped. These are all people. But, they are not alive. The stated that all living creatures would be erased from existence, so they are all dead. Then, what if somebody would do something like this to my mommy or Anita? Hmm. She stopped her thought and pouted. I will merely kill and erase them from existence. Nobody harms my mommy! I do not know what that word means, but I know that all I will have to do is make them look like those people here. That way, they will not be considered living and will not touch my precious mother. Satisfied with her solution, she grinned and resumed her exploration.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What in the name of gods is going on? Wondered Solomon, whose head had been sliced off and tossed to rot. He could not feel his body and his life was draining away.
And yet, he was alive. He could still move his eyes and think. As he looked at the battlefield, several corpses were visible within the range of his eyesight. Am I dreaming? Is this perhaps a nightmare, one that I will wake up from and think that it was a dream? Or, is it a message from gods? Am I having a vision about the future? He kept thinking, but nothing changed.
Time passed, but he did not wake up. Wyvern that was annihilating his forces had vanished. Not even crows that feasted on the flesh of the dead were visible.
Hours passed, but the time of day did not change. The corpses he had burnt with [Incinerate], were still charred and smoke was still visible.
How many hours has it been now? He asked himself after 4 hours have elapsed from his death.
Solomon had lost track of time. He desperately waited for something to happen, but three more hours had passed instead, without anything occurring. He then began thinking about the concept of an afterlife.
If heaven exists, then should I not be drinking wine and be surrounded by beautiful women? Perhaps, this is hell? If it is, a lot of things would be explained. But then, where are the torturers? Much time has passed, but there is nobody that would torture me further. Should their goal not be to break me?
Five more hours flew by on the battlefield. Solomon finally gave up about thinking and decided to close his eyes. There was nothing much he could do, for he had already thought about the way his life had unfolded. He had been named as Damas’s strongest sorcerer for over six years now. A lot of training, sweat, tears, blood, and emotional trauma went into acquiring this title. But it was all useless now. He was dead. Finally strengthening his resolve and deciding to sink into nothingness, a sound of someone striking metal rushed through his ears.
The battlefield had been silent for an unknown amount of time for him, so he had grown used to the silence. Now that silence was disrupted. Overflowing with curiosity, he opened his eyes. At quite some distance away, he saw a figure walking and dancing around. A small humming also began entering his ears.
Understanding that someone finally showed up, Solomon’s mind was overtaken by both joy and fear. Happiness, for someone else other than himself, was here and fear, for that same someone could be the torturer that he had previously thought about could finally have arrived. This sensation soon faded away, for the person did not approach him at all and instead was wandering around aimlessly. At some point, it even began drifting away.
“Hello! I am over here! Can you hear me?” he yelled over in hopes that the person would hear him. Miraculously enough, the now only visible dot stopped fading away and instead began quickly moving back.
“Over here!” he yelled once again. “I am over here!”
The dot began approaching even quicker and finally started to take a more solid shape and form. He could vaguely see a small body of a person and some form of a black object on the sides of the body. Are those... Wings?! He asked himself, but the moment he did so, the person quickly ascended into the air. Not even five seconds after, it appeared in front of him and began a descent.
The sight in front of Solomon was an indescribable beauty. It was a girl with beautiful, long, crimson colored hair and huge black wings that she gracefully moved around while landing. Her body, while not grown, was perfect. Her face was that of a goddess. No, saying that it belonged to a goddess would be an insult. It was beyond that realm. The eyes of the girl were the proof to that. Her big round eyes that were bright orange, as if to set the world aflame, completely entranced Solomon. Furthermore, the left eye of the beauty was the most mysterious thing he has ever seen, for the pupil was shaped like a clock and it was moving backward. Each second that he gazed upon this sight felt like an eternity.
Solomon decided to gather his remaining resolve and speak up. However, before his mouth could open and words could escape, the girl made the first move.
“Hello. My name is Alviona. May I know who you are, and how you ended up inside my ?”
