《Alviona (undergoing Rewrite).》Chapter 5 - An unusual meeting

"I am sleepy" mumbled a bored voice.
"But you just woke up" came a reply.
"I do not care! I am sleepy" mumbled the voice, which appeared to be even more bored than before.
"And may I ask, what does not bore you in this world my child?" asked a voice in an amused and a gentle tone.
"Well..." the person whose face was not visible due to the darkness of the room, fell into deep thought. "I do not know; perhaps adventuring?" said the voice, which was too soft to belong to a male.
"You? Adventuring? With your attitude? I do not think so Anita" said the voice in a mocking way.
"Bug off, you ancient luggage" murmured Anita while trying to hang on to the blanket, as if she had been residing in the Northern part of Dedrillon, living as Nords in harsh cold conditions. Just the dread of getting out of her bed was enough to make the skin crawl.
"What if I was to tell you, that we might have a new contestant willing to undertake the class of a druid?" said the voice in a teasing manner.
The moment Anita heard this, she sprang out of bed, quickly opening the curtains and letting light inside her bedroom. The figure that was revealed inside was nothing short of gorgeous. A young girl, probably in her late teens with subtle green eyes, rosy skin color, gentle face complexion and ecstatic expression. Her auburn colored hair was reaching all the way down to her waist. Her body figure was rather attractive with a beautiful D-Cup sized bust protruding from her chest area. Perhaps a fascinating thing about this girl was that she had cute pointy ears protruding from her head sideways, which she wiggled in excitement. Indeed, a new person willing to undertake the class of Druid, one of the hardest professions to attain. What was there not to be excited about?
Anita quickly rushed towards her dresser and began dressing up. First, she put on bras and panties. Then she proceeded to put on a small white robe, which only went down to her knee's length. It was a color of white, with a triangle-like golden garment covering the middle and the back areas. Anita tightened the robe with a silver belt the shape of which resembled thorns of a rose. The middle of the belt had a form of an owl's head, with eye sockets filled with green amethyst and the beak made of ruby. She opened another part of her dresser and took out a jewelry box, from which she took out three earrings. Two were equipped on her left ear. Sadly, she had only gathered enough resources and gold to have a master-jeweler craft three of those. Not only were the stones expensive, but finding the right runes and alloy to enchant them was even harder, let alone costly. Lastly, the girl rushed towards a glass case, which had three items inside of it. The first item was a magical circlet that had the shape of a wolf. The three chains protruded from the base of the wolf, to fit the head. The wolf was of golden color, while its eyes were orange. The second item of interest was the set of pauldrons and gauntlets, that seemed to be made of ordinary metal, however for some reasons they had various little holes carved inside. The third and last item of interest was a pair of boots that, while plated, were as green as grass.

The young girl, slowly chanted two spells - [Remove poison] and [Purify curse], after which the glass opened. Anita removed the items that seemed to float and carefully put them on. The moment she finished dressing up, her pauldron and gauntlet started radiating a light-green color, and a moment later green leaves slowly began to protrude from the various holes, finally blossoming and coating her entire shoulders and wrist areas. A beautiful green cloak seemed to appear as well, with a golden tint at the edges from the back and a darker green texture from the inside.
"Hmm. Fully dressed, are we?" asked the voice, in a respectful way. "Your majesty truly radiates brilliance and wisdom right now," the voice added.
The girl blushed.
"Stop addressing me as a majesty," she said in a demanding tone. It was a title given to her, by her companion and was somewhat disturbing for Anita, who refused to be associated with any form of nobility.
"I can never stop doing this. Teasing you is indeed a true pleasure" replied the voice, who had finally shown its form. A magnificent white wolf, approximately 5'7 tall, with a blue crystal embedded in the middle of its forehead.
While it was a magnificent sight, people would have begged for mercy if such a beast was present in front of them. The girl was not surprised by its appearance. On the contrary, she expected it to manifest into a wolf; after all, this was the spirit beast summonable only by the circlet that Anita currently had on her head.
Anita deeply sighed. She truly disliked being teased. However, since it was this spirit beast, tolerating it was not such a significant burden. The name of this spirit was Piu; personally selected by the master that it served. Since it did not have a gender, Anita had picked a name that sounded somewhat cute, much to the dislike of the spirit who thought that a name such as this was too embarrassing and did not correctly reflect its status as a higher spirit. After a lot of fighting back and forth, it got amused by the girl's dedication and unwillingness to back down. Therefore the dispute was won by Anita. In turn, she got a title that she hated with a passion.
"Well then, lead the way Piu," said Anita hurriedly.
The wolf bowed down and took a posture that allowed the girl to hop on its back. As she did, they quickly sprang out of the window and into the wilderness.
"Where is the contestant?" asked Anita with excitement.
"The last time I checked, she was heading towards the forest on a summoned steed. The girl seemed to be accompanied by a masked rider; however, they separated two days ago," replied Piu, without slowing down its pace. "When I checked this morning, however, she was already near the entrance. If I am not mistaken, she is heading towards your hut" he added.
"What?!" asked Anita with a rather surprised and a worried tone. The hut she lived in, was in the center of the wilderness. Why on earth would a girl, who is undertaking a druid's class venture out into the wilderness to find her hut? Moreover, how was she going to accomplish this? Only professional hunters or spies were able to use [Track] skill. Druids rarely - if ever, - had such an ability. Hunters would not dare to step into this forest, that was sacred ground for class change. Spies had no business here. So then the logical question that had to be asked would be who was this girl and why was she after Anita? Another problem was that the way towards her residence was filled with various beasts. Wolves, minor goblins, Cyclops, some minor elementals such as dryads. Overall, it was a rather unsafe trip for the woman, which implied two possibilities: Either she was too stupid and overconfident of her abilities, for even Anita, it was too much deal with at once, or she was desperate enough to risk everything to find her.

"Is she truly a contestant for a druidic class?" asked Anita in a slightly frustrated and dissatisfied way.
"I am pretty positive about that. The woman carries a doll in her hand, so she must know of the requirements for the druid class, no?" asked Piu. Anita's eyes lit up again in anticipation of what was to happen. Any doubts she had were instantly erased. A new druid, a new adventure - these were the thoughts that Anita harbored. Anita had no friends or relatives, she wished to venture outside of the forest, but could not until her mother and father would awake.
As Piu was racing through the forest, some wolves came into view, which engaged them. Anita, not willing to waste the precious time, quickly chanted [Mass Entangle] and [Mass Paralysis]. The roots of many surrounding trees erupted from the ground, catching the wolves, after what they got paralyzed. The moment they did the roots withdrew. The ground fixed itself as if nothing had happened, the only exception being the wolves that were stuck on the ground as if frozen solid. And so Piu and Anita continued their way towards the contestant, without even causing any fatalities within the wildlife of Javl.
"Anita, trouble!" said Piu in an alarmed tone.
"What is wrong?" asked Anita quickly.
"It appears, that the contestant is in a grave danger. She was surrounded by wolves a moment ago; however, she had activated some form of magic. Since she had released mana and caused harm to the wildlife, a squad of goblins is heading towards her and judging by their formation, it is a hunting unit". As Piu finished saying these words, Anita's face twisted in panic.
"Hurry!"
Goblins were a somewhat intelligent species. They were notorious for ambushing and possessed quite a commendable mana well. When grouped, they were a fearsome foe even against the most prepared adventurers.
"How many of them are there?" asked Anita in hopes that the squad meant four or six goblins.
"Twenty" came a reply from Piu.
Anita's face twisted. It lost color multiple times before returning to normal. Regaining her calm, she began thinking.
"Piu, here is a plan. I will apply a [Windrunner's blessing], in hopes that we reach the girl sooner than them. If we do, we grab her and retreat immediately. If the goblins reach her before us, then we are to engage in combat. We take out one or three and grab the girl. After, we zig-zag our way out; covering our foot-prints and retreating to the hut with our package. No matter what happens, we are not to stay for prolonged combat!" ordered Anita.
Hearing this, Piu told his master, that he understood. Anita quickly applied the blessing and Piu accelerated his movement since he did not feel fatigue now.
As they were closing in on their destination, the roar of goblins was heard and then came the sight of them preparing to assault the woman. Except, they were not moving. It was not the sight that Anita or Piu expected. It did not depict the hunters going out on a hunt for suitable prey. No, it illustrated the hunters being hunted. The woman that they had arrived to rescue was standing at some distance, with a bright blue magical bow drawn to its full strength. Perhaps the most exciting thing was that the number of arrows drawn was not one or two, but exactly twenty. Before Anita could blink, she witnessed the woman slightly bending her posture as if she was attempting to duck or rather as if she was trying to draw her body as if it were a bow. Once she got into position, a *swoosh* sound was heard, and the arrows were fired. In less than a second, the bodies of the twenty goblins had dropped dead. All bolts had hit their target - the head.
After witnessing this, without stopping, Piu jumped into the air and landed right in front of the woman. It had its desired impact, for she had frozen in place staring at the majestic wolf. She was on alert, ready for combat. He could sense it. But for what?
Anita quickly jumped from Piu's back and approached the woman. Seeing that someone other than the beast was approaching her, the woman showed a face of relief; however, she still had all the intent to fight if she had to. Once Anita got close enough, only one sentence came out from her mouth - "Who the hell, are you?!"
