Keep in mind, to curb hit-and-run subscribers my patreon will have the 'charge up front' feature enabled, which means that if you are planning to subscribe, it's best that you do so at the beginning of any given month because this is when the billing cycle begins. For instance, if you become a patron on the 30th of April, the initial payment counts as an April payment, and a May charge will be applied at the beginning of the following month. Of course, I'll issue refunds to anyone who accidently does this, but I just want to make sure everyone is aware that the beginning of the month is the best time to subscribe.
