《Dungeon Games》Book 2 - Chapter 9: Sidnie runs.

The Tournament had just ended, and I was on the edge of my seat for the majority of it. Suzuki had done so amazingly well! She had won each fight, right up until the Final match. She had lost, the other one had been using Zombies, a Species within the Undead Race that had the ability to add to their numbers by killing and infecting the living enemies.

It had ended in a tide of Zombie Shark Naga, and other humanoid, and Animal Zombies killing her controlled Great White, who had not been as strong since the first fight against the Rats, the Poison had remained in his system, though it had been treated by her kind when she left the Arena ground during her first match.

She had still lost splendidly. She had cost the Zombies a great deal before they reached her Shark Naga. But it was inevitable, the kind of Zombies the other Player used were Runners, and a kind of Giant Zombie that looked like a creepy bloated ball of fat. It was going to give me nightmares, I just knew it.

The final match, oddly a Horse User and the Undead user specialized in Zombies had just ended, and the result was the Zombies winning, sadly. I pouted, the Horse User had unicorns! I latched onto Jessica’s arms, squeezing it tight and laughing in pure joy.

My very first live Tournament, and I had been able to watch Suzuki, my Idol, fight in person with her Shark Naga, and I had enjoyed it with one of my best friends, Jessica. I looked up at her, and tilted my head in confusion when I saw she seemed conflicted about something. Leaning in closer, and put my chin on her shoulder and stared at her, causing her face to turn red before she looked at me, flustered.

I grinned, she was adorable! “What’s wrong Jessica?” I got somewhat worried, and felt the frown form between my eyebrows, and tilted my head on her shoulder a little. “Did you not have fun? I know Suzuki turned you down, but...Was being with me for my first Tournament not fun? Did I annoy you?”

I actually was worried about that, I know I kept on launching myself at her arm during exciting moments of the Tournament, and jostling her about a lot. I hoped she wasn’t mad about that. More than that, I also didn’t want her to withdraw from me again. It hurt last time, and we had only just really begun to get over that together!

I frowned, and squeezed her arm tighter, then looked into her eyes, she got redder. “No doing what you did before! I don’t like it when you withdraw!”

I stated this seriously, and she just sighed, I have no idea why though. She took a moment, and poked my nose gently. It made me twitch it and wiggle it about some, kind of tickled.

“I had a lot of fun, and it was something I talked to Suzuki about before the Tournament began. Um, don’t worry about it for now. Ok? Also, You never annoy me! Stop saying stupid things.”

I stuck my tongue out at her, and huffed dramatically before turning to look at the stage, and the rewards being handed out. As the first Tournament of this Season it would go for anyone's Win count for the end of the year advancement Tournament. I was sad that Suzuki had lost, but you could never win them all.

When the Announcer finished, Jessica got up and helped me stand. We both headed back to the Competitor area to find Suzuki. I kind of wanted to give her a pep talk, she had to be feeling sad, right? I knew how she cared about her Races afterall, no doubt she was very sad. That was a lot of Shark Naga that met their end. I knew if I started tournaments in full, that would be my fate when I lost as well.

I steeled my heart, as best as I could, and promised myself I’d get so good at Dungeon Wars that I would not suffer such a devastating blow. I hoped so, at least. It would depend on my first fights, if I could manage to accept the deaths of my cute Demons or not.

We made our way toward the Competitor area and found Suzuki sitting down in a corner that was difficult to see from within the room itself. We made our way over to her, rather I did. Jessica had disappeared behind me. I winced, of course she wouldn’t want to follow me, she had been shot down.

I sighed and went alone. When I reached her, I saw that she was looking gloomy. She had both her arms between her legs, and her head was down; her long black hair blocking the view of her face.

“Suzuki? Are you ok?” I asked her softly. I heard a little sniffle, and saw one of her hands reach up into the mass of her hair a moment, and one more sniffle before she raised her head to look at me.

I froze a moment, her small face was tinged red from the soft crying she had been doing. It made her eyes look larger and seemed to emphasize her already sharp and pretty features further. She looked...cute when crying. I stopped a second, feeling a squeeze on my heart and frowned in confusion. What was that? I shook the feeling away and went ahead and hugged Suzuki.

I felt her flinch a little, but after a moment she hugged me back and sniffled again. “I’m sorry you lost Suzuki, but you did so well.” I said softly and she nodded her head.

I held her a while more, giving her comfort before she pushed me away and waved her hands lightly between us. “I am alright, thank you Sidnie. It was just a little depressing that I lost so overwhelmingly, and that I had lost an entire clan of my Shark Naga.”

I nodded, less in understanding and more in sympathy. “I can see why, power structure aside, you love your Dungeon Races as well. But I know you’ll be able to get better and prevent it in the future. You’re amazing afterall.”

I heard a soft laugh come from her, and she thanked me. “Where is Jessica, by the way?”

I shrugged and pouted some. “I don’t know! She just vanished on me while we were heading over here.” I paused and looked at Suzuki, as seriously as I could. “Why did you shoot her down anyway! She’s so sweet and beautiful!” I huffed out my complaint at her turning down my best friend.

She got a very peculiar look on her face after hearing my pouting complaint. “Wait, Sidnie, did you actually think she liked me?”

“Of course she does! She even told me she had someone she was a friend with, and had liked for a long time! She didn’t deny it when I guessed you either! She just looked defeated.” pausing a second, I thought about that. I still had no idea why she had looked so defeated.

Suzuki started laughing at me, she actually looked like she was about to fall to the ground from her chair. “What?!?” I cried out in confusion and a mix of anger and curiosity.

“Nothing *takes a breath* Just...Nothing, you’ll learn about it later.” Oh god, not this again. I pouted at her, giving her a very sad look. Another person hiding something from me for no reason!

She patted my head, and I blushed a little. I was not used to that, and it even felt nice. It reminded me of when I’d made Jessica pet me that Halloween the other year. I grinned at the memory, and her beet red face.

“Stop pouting, Sidnie. Jessica will tell you soon enough I imagine.”

“Fine! But I still don’t like being in the dark like this.” I responded. She just gave me a funny look and giggled more. I mumbled about them all being mean and picking on me while we waited for Jessica to show up.

About five minutes later, five minutes of me being teased by Suzuki, Jessica showed up. I jumped up from my seat and ran to hide behind her while peaking out at Suzuki and sticking my tongue out at her.

“What the? Sid, what is going on?” Jessica asked, a bit unsteadily because I had just finished jostling her around like crazy while using her as a shield.

“Suzuki was picking on me, and teasing me. Protect me!” I giggled out at her, clinging to her back and onto her arm a bit. She just shook her head lightly, and asked if we were ready to go?

She and Suzuki shared a look filled with meaning, but I didn’t understand it much. Instead I was debating on how I could find out what they were both hiding from me. I truly hated being left in the dark like this. We talked a bit longer before Suzuki’s Mom showed up to take us home. It had been a good day, honestly. I loved spending time with Jessica, and watching Suzuki play in the tournament.

I smiled, and skipped a little beside Jessica as we walked home from the Park, just having been dropped off. She was escorting me home, I laughed a bit, and latched onto her arm, looking up at her. “Daddy will think you’re my boyfriend if you keep escorting me home!” I teased.

I waited for her laugh, but it never came. I tilted my head some and looked at her face, it was serious. “Jessica, what’s wrong? Did something happen?”

Jessica seemed to rise from her inner thoughts a moment, and look at me. She still had her serious look on, and it was starting to worry me a little. All the same, it felt like her eyes were drawing me in a little.

I froze a moment, not really understanding what I felt. “Sid, I have something I need to tell you…”

I smiled a little nervously, unsure why I felt nervous. It had to be that serious look. Jessica never looked that serious with me. I was suddenly very afraid she was going to say she wasn’t going to be able to be my friend anymore. I don’t know why I thought that, but I did.

It is also why I thanked the stars above for the sudden display that popped up between Jessica and I, cutting her off in shock. Leo, my Hero. Though after reading what he had to say I was more worried. Fluffy and his Packs were in trouble, fighting more Natural Demons.

“Jessica, I’m sorry. Can you tell me later?” I didn’t wait for an answer. Even with the fear for Fluffy, I felt simple relieve. I didn’t want her to say she would no longer be my friend. I had no basis for that thought, but I feared it. She’d acted funny all day at the Tournament and I wanted to run away from it. So I did, looking back only once to see her staring after me. I waved, and after a moment she waved back then walked back down the street to her house, slowly.

I felt awful, but I used Fluffy being in trouble as an excuse and justification within my own mind. It helped keep the fear at bay.

Red POV -

Soft panting moans, the groan of a male beneath me, the feeling of the barbs that adorned this Species genitalia scraping deep within my body sending me into small fits of ecstasy. The pleasure of those little barbs that adorned the Cat Leaders member were truly magnificent.

I rode him a bit harder, shuddering at the feeling as they scraped and scratched the inside of my body, mixing pain and pleasure so beautifully. This, this particular joy I would allow Selene to enjoy with me some time. Only her though, just her. I gasped as the struggling feline bucked beneath me, releasing his sperm into my body, and lay motionless beneath me.

I pouted at his panting furred face, trailing a taloned finger gently down his chest, feeling the soft fur that covered his body. I leaned down, grinding myself against the soft, flaccid member still within me and whispered into his adorably fluffy ear. “Come on, pet, can you not go again? I will reward you more with my body if you do. Become mine, please me, and I’ll give you the world.”

Partly begging so I could feel that exquisite member again within moment, using my body and voice to make him aroused once more, and partly the beginnings of an enslavement spell. This was the Leader of the Feline Tribe on my lands, and if I enslaved him, the rest would follow. I would have another force to combat anyone that dared to encroach upon my lands.

I spent the next several hours working over the Feline Leader, and thoroughly enjoying the experience. I had summoned Selene to join in on the fun, and she enjoyed it as well. I admit to feeling a bit of jealousy during her turn, so I bit her neck, claiming her. The action confused me, but I enjoyed the reactions I got out of Selene, and the resulting bucking as she tightened from the Feline.

We were currently laying in my massive bed, and I was gently running my hand down Selene’s body, starting at her shoulder, and delicately tracing her wings, before ending at her mid thigh and starting over from the beginning. She was asleep, her short hair framing her face that was buried in the chest fur of the exhausted, and I believed bleeding, Feline leader.

She was beautiful, and I had contemplated killing her for that Beauty. But I stopped myself every time. She served me better alive, and she was the only one I would allow the Mistress to control to speak to me. She was, literally, the single one of my people I could not simply replace. I stared at her sleeping face once more, the image overlapping with the Mistress within my mind. ‘Special’

The word flit through my mind, and I shook it away from me. I must never allow myself to see her as anything but a vessel. It would become far to complicated later. I lied down and fell asleep myself, curled around them both.
