《Broken Skulls, a Skeleton's Tale》Announcement

So, I really, really, really hate to do this right after Broken Skulls was put on Trending. However, if I don't do this, the quality of each chapter will suffer enormously. Lately I've been feeling more and more stressed, and so I've been trying to relax, but no matter what I've done, the stress has just kept building and building. So, for the time period of roughly a month, I'm going to take a break from this, and from a few other things that have been stressing me out. Under this, I'm going to answer a few questions I assume will be common, starting now.

"Does this mean you're dropping Broken Skulls as a story?"

No, not at all, no way in hell am I dropping this story. I like it, I've enjoyed writing it, and I love writing about Broken Skull, the bitter, selfish, hateful skeleton who clearly has no qualms about killing anything that even mildly irritates him. I love writing about Lilith, Rivena, Rivax, Lakus, etc. Each character I write about, no matter how minor the role they play, is one that I truly enjoy writing for, and there's no way I'd give that up for anything.

"Will you be posting anything from your stockpile?"

I'd love to, however... I still don't have a stockpile, because procrastination is a demon that I have yet to defeat, even though I have the sword of motivation, and the armor of "Thanks for the chapter." While I can't promise to post anything during the break if I get a sudden surge of inspiration, I will do my best to have my mojo back as soon as possible, because writing this story has encouraged me to write even more than I used to in the past. But short answer, I won't be posting anything, because I don't have anything.

"What can we expect to see regarding all the skills and levels and game elements? Will other skellies get abilities?"

Honestly? I felt that I had a plan for it, but actually thinking about it, I'm not sure what that plan was to begin with. Broken Skull learning Stealth for me, was a test of how well I could take to the game elements. While I don't plan on removing it entirely, I do plan on having game elements take more of a backseat role in the future, as I don't want the core of my story revolving around huge walls of text, that have no actual impact on the story itself. I've seen too many stories that post chapters that are just walls of text, with little story progression. So, short answer for this question is, I'm not entirely sure yet.

"How can you do this to us when you're trending? You bastard!"

Yep, I'm an ancient skeleton demon in disguise. You've figured me out. Darn. Guess my plans for world domination will have to wait for a bit, since I'm forced to do this. Seriously though, I don't like that I'm doing this. I like that I'm trending, I like that people are enjoying Broken Skulls, and I like the criticism I'm receiving, but for the moment, it just proved to be a bit too much for me to handle.

"Chapter 21 still has text color issues!"

I. Hate. Source Code. I'll try again to fix it later, but I tried to fix it three different times, but nothing worked.

If you have any other questions for me, please post them in the comments, and I'll do my best to answer them, at least for today!
