《KillDozer》Hellborne

Hi everyone! Long time no talk, and thanks for staying subscribed to this, because it is helping you get this fancy message right now.
My second son was born and he is healthy, but obviously a baby. As you all know, babies cry and scream, and genereally hate sleep. So that's what I have been up to lately. I did have time to start putting a new book together, unfortunately it's not a sequal to any of my current stuff that y'all love, but it is still awesome.
It's called Hellborne and it will be free here on RoyalRoad for a limited time. I plan on taking it over to the KU program and as most avid readers know by now, the KU contract forbids you from having your books cross posted here on RoyalRoad. So if you would like to get an early seat to the show head on over to the link I have in the post-chapter notes. I'll also cross post it here.

This is going to be a Young Adult project... STOP don't run.
I know I'm known for gritty bloody fight scenes, controversial topics, fictional politics, rediculous situations, profuse swearing, etc. Basically shit that you can't put in a young adult book. So read on so I can tell you why I think you should try it anyway.
I'm going to attempt to put everything people love about my writing into the young adult format.
So will there be wanton riteous vigilante violence? Yes, just not against humans, unless they are really bad humans but even then it will be rare. I'm sorry but you just can't go around murdering people in the young adult genre, parents don't want their kids getting desensitized to murder, I'm a parent, I understand that.
BUT we can murder things, creatures, spirits, etc. Does a parent want their kid to go to bed at night and be afraid of what's under the bed? Or does a parent want a kid who reads books that put them in a mindset that when they think something evil is under their bed they wonder how they can defeat it, tie it up, and then throw it back into the void from whence it came. So there is some wiggle room in there, and there are ways to add parent-approved riteous violent scenes.

Will there be be over the top action and rediculous situations? Of course, young adult readers deserve that stuff too and in my opinion that genre is sorely lacking on that front. With the exception of books like SteelHeart but those are few and far inbetween.
What's my goal here:
I'm trying to put out a book that will be just as fun to read for a 25 year old as it would be for a 14 year old, and yes I think it is possible. This is going to be the kind of book that a parent and their child could read at the same time, and both enjoy it. Similar to that old Avatar the First Air Bender t.v. show. You have to admit, everyone loved that no matter what their age was.
Where does the book take place: World War 2 and Hell the biblical and theatrical version. (Yes you read that right)
Is the book historically accurate and did I do research for it: Yes, so so much.
Is the book historically accurate will you as a reader learn things? Yes. I have done massive amounts of research. Everything in the book will be era appropriate and accurate, you will learn things, but in a fun way with lots of shooting and face punches.
So as always I'm going to ask you to support me. Head over to the link and favorite it, subscribe to it, save it in your booksmarks, share it on social media, tell a friend about it, etc. A writer is nothing without his or her readers. This is a team effort and y'all are my team. So let's go on another adventure together.

PK
Unbeknownst to the peoples of the Nine Realms, Ragnarok is approaching. Relationships between the rulers of the Realms have been deteriorating for millennia and are nearing their breaking point. A last ditch effort to suppress hostilities has resulted in the formation of a grand contest between champions of the respective Realms. The Wild Hunt. Can the champions of Midgard triumph and avoid Ragnarok, or will the world end in war? PK is a LitRPG lightly based on Norse mythology, with a small amount of inspiration coming from the lost RPG series Too Human as well.I’ll be uploading a chapter every Monday. I hope you enjoy, and don’t hold back telling me how much you hate it. (Please don’t hate it.)

Serf
The Unbinding series Arc: Soil and Water Serf Taran is tired of being a healer. Everyone wants and demands all the time, and even his best friends aren't making things better. A new game gives him the opportunity to try out a new playstyle, finally allowing him the chance to create, instead of just helping others destroy. While the World Below offers unlimited possibilities for enterprise, Tee first needs to navigate the drama, schemes and downright shenanigans that happen whether he likes it or not. ** Note as of 26-Sep-2018 ** I have to take time out of writing Serf to finish editing Darkborn. I will resume it as soon as I can. Thank you for your patience. Catch me on twitter @mroysson for updates. --- This is the second book in my Unbinding series. There is no need to read the first one (Unbinding - The Dark Spiral - Darkborn). Some elements, however, will be more familiar to readers of my previous story. Wild Steam
Get on a train. Head east. Get on a ship. Travel further east, in style. See some wonders of the world. Find what was lost. Find where home is. How hard is any of that?Well, for Jake Ranger, pretty damned hard. The world being a wild, crazy mess from a global altering event called the Shattering doesn’t help much. Nor does being a famous folk hero. That last one really sucks, because people always run up to famous heroes and beg them for help with all their problems. Then there are the actual outlaws and monsters. They don’t help much either. Mostly they just get in the way and make everything way worse. And in a world that is so screwed up decades after the Shattering, there is a lot of variety to both outlaw and monster. Then there are the more civilized, (read: sane), non-human folk, and good old humans as well. They all get along just spectacularly. Totally best friends, on every level, for life. Of course getting to the east coast is only half the battle. Once there, he must contend with the so-called “civilized people.” Then there’s the ship ride; pirates and sea monsters are a thing too, after all. Should have read the brochure. But when the chips are down, the bad guys are winning and the wild winds of chaos are blowing, it helps to have a fighter on your side. Even if he is a little wild. After all, that’s not really a problem. That’s what beautiful women and lots of gold is for. Proper motivation is always key to success. Welcome to a Steampunk, Wild West, Victorian era, Lovecraftian infested, fantasy, shoot ‘em up world. Complete with a slow build harem of badass beautiful women, crazy adventures, and fun, monstrous villains. Welcome to the world of Wild Steam. Do enjoy your stay.

Alma's Dreams are Default
Alma’s life has always been filled with insanity. That tends to happen when you’re living in a religious country where the citizens all worship a terrifying goddess of madness. More so when your sister is a priestess of said goddess. So, what does a girl do to keep herself grounded? Why, join the military of course! A little patriotic spirit to keep the otherworldly apparitions that only she can see from driving her mad. Or that was the plan, anyway. At least it's safe to say the repercussions of living near so much insanity isn't what drives her to then join an eldritch creature in the form of a young girl and her dark elf companion on a quest to save the world. Especially when they might hold the answers to the phantoms that have been haunting her for her entire life. A craft of love. Chapters might range from 1k-2k words. Updates Sundays.
