《Spiko's Journey》Welp.... That's it. I'm dropping it.

This is it for now.
While going over the full story up to this point. Looking for errors and ways to write stuff differently.
I laughed alot and had fun, the first few chapters.
"Was this what i wanted her to be?" , came up as a question quite quickly.
The answer was sadly, no.
From what i envisioned her to be. She became too much of a happy go lucky dunce. Just cause i seem to have shifted to a purely comedic theme somewhere in there. I do wanted her to start out a bit of a dunce and airhead. But she should have started to grow more intelligent with every encounter. But alas bit by bit, i slapped on the ``she's gonna do somethign stupid´´ flag harder and harder. It's not doing her justice. So i will use the 30k + words i written to look further for my grammar errors and things like that.
So probably this won't continue the way it is.
I mostly realized it. When i was drawing out the map. Thinking of the things that would happen next.
The fall. The chase. The forcefull Levi.
Because there's only one outcome i can see atm. Her doing something stupid. Getting caught by a bunch of magic flinging angry people. Then the next arc, that had shifted around alot ... while writing the city part. To a point, i think any seriousness would vanish. I wanted her to struggle in a more intelligent manner. But some part of me craved the laughs to hard.
Sorry to everyone that enjoyed this. But thinking about the narrow with of actions i wrote myself into. Kind of gets me moody. Even the deepest layer of plot, couldn't save that ...
And also thanks to everyone that read through this. It was nice posting something i created. And seeing that others are probably enjyoing it. Maybe I will do this again. Next time with more preperation ... and maybe not the singular goal of ``just write, so I can do errors ... I can fix!´´.

Writing without a clear-plan was fun, changing stuff as i went. But it ended up in a disaster xD.
Should have just stuck to a direction and went with it.
Dropped time for this...
I'm a go and pet Spiko now. Hopefully she will never learn to read. Or i will have a cat trying to hug me to dead ... in my sleep.

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.
