I woke up today with a barrage of notification menus popping up everywhere.
Yesterday I got so caught up in being able to actually use magic that I experimented from 8 in the morning to 2AM the next day...
That explained the bunch of Achievements about Essence.
Right now, I can easily focus essence into my eyes and make the whole world looks slow-motioned.
I've practiced so much yesterday that the tasks with essence became simple as breathing for me right now.
Sometimes I don't even realize I'm using essence to slow down the things moving in my vision.
Of course I'm not on the level of a certain someone that can see molecules and infrared or UV rays yet.
But a boost in perceptive vision is always nice for someone that uses kenjutsu and martial arts like me.
I thought that my game knowledge in the Menu was quite cheating, but with this Essence thing...I lost the definition of cheats at the moment...
Let's go back to the notifications.
Rank up?
What do you mean by ranking up, Mr.Menu?
I judged that it won't hurt to find out, so I clicked .
[God: Ralph - Sanctuary: (unnamed) now ranking up...Complete]
Ralph
Type: Temple
Classification: D
Ranking: 612th
Nice!!!
I just became a D.
Can you believe that? I turned into a D just after like more than a month of being a God!!!
Finally, I got myself a D as my rank.
At least it's better than F.
[Related individuals will be awarded with blessings...Complete]
At the same time, I heard various noises and lively chatters rang throughout the place.
I went outside and asked them about what kind of blessing they got.
Turns out the fighters received blessings befitting their style of combat.
Strength for fist fighters, swiftness for swordsmen...

And these are permanent buffs.
Some even got new jobs.
[Beast Tribe - Battle Bunny] Miko LV.34
Leila Rhuji, 23 years old.
OOOOOOHHHHHHHHH!!!
The girl got herself to become a Miko, a beastwoman shrine maiden!!!
I can already feel the jealousy throwing at me from my fellow otaku.
I immediately pulled up the Menu and gave her Miko clothing.
This is pressing business, it cannot be delayed.
「Leila! This is an important order! Get changed into these clothes right away!!」
「Y-Yes!!! Ralph-sama!!!」
She ran right away back to her hut and came back within minutes in full Miko clothing - red hakama and white haori.
The haori itself left her shoulders uncovered, a bit of her healthy cleavage could be seen.
Right, fuck dignity.
Let's go wild right here and right now.
NO!
STOP it right there sir God...
Sanity! Right, sanity...
「Fumu. Looks wonderful on you!!!」
I held out my arm and did a thumbs up, then patted her head with a somewhat perverted smile but I think she didn't catch that, phew...
She blushed slightly and just asked "R-Really...".
Then she excused herself to go water the apple trees with a bow.
WAAAAIT!!!
DO NOT BOW SO DEEPLY, I REPEAT, DO NOT BOW SO DEEPLY.
GEEZ...that bow showcased the whole set of her well developed swellings.
I almost gave into corruption at that moment, but somehow endured it and kept my sanity...
But when you think about it, isn't it pretty worthy to become a Dark God after that...?
She did say herself that if it's Ralph-sama then it's okay, right...................................
STOOOOOOP!!!
Please make it stop!!
I can't stand the madness anymore...
I cannot get that pair of orbs out of my mind.
I even spent 200 points and cast [Purification] on myself...
But luckily it worked...somehow...
I finally got my sanity back and continued to inspect my people.
Von and Ana didn't evolve or anything, but they were obviously stronger.
My very first buddy since my rebirth, the Iron Golem, Gole-kun now can converse!!!
He can speak and have emotions to a certain extent.
Elgo-kun, the Elder Hobgoblin, evolved to High Ogre and changed color to brown.
He also got a bit taller and bulkier, his speech is now more clear and makes more sense.
Now the surprising part.
The Shadow Wolves turned into Night Hunters - a variant of werewolves.
Hahaha...and of course, you guessed it...despite being pregnant, the female Shadow Wolf became a Night Hunter beauty with smooth black fur covering her arms, legs and back just like Leila!
But seriously though, spare me the beastiality...I am certainly not THAT wild, OK?.
On top of that, she's pregnant, so please, forgive me...
Anyway, Rex-kun, my cute little (white lie) pet dinosaur.
This bastard, he grew a pair of horns and his tiny arms became as big as a dragon's arms.
More spiky bones grew along his spine all the way down to his tail.
An absolute badass dinosaur, can we now call him Dino Th**der??
Actually, he's way cooler than that.
[Lesser Dragon] Young Ancient LV.120
Rex, 2 million years old.
Yep, he has something called [Ancient Seed] inside him.
Chances of this bad boy turning into a dragon are absurdly high...
The Skull Face Angels and Lesser Demons aren't directly connected to me, but they also received a small buff.
And lastly, the Elf girls.
Of course they didn't get anything since they're just prisoners.
But, there is one girl that also became a Miko.
The reason to that is because I made them do labor work, well...mostly just gardening and cleaning or help the beast tribe...
One of them was actually sick of the Elf village and expressed gratitude towards me that I took her in as a part of this sanctuary.
[High Elf] Ranger; Miko LV.57
Yuah Juul, 130 years old.
I...didn't refuse...'cause she's cute...
Of course, she's in my land, I can read her heart to see whether she was acting or not.
And luckily she wasn't lying at all, thus I patted her on the head and got myself another shrine maiden...
And damn, I bet ¥1000 that she's in no way less stunning than Leila in Miko clothing...
So to celebrate this, I spent 80% of my current point on upgrading the Temple.
[Points: 9,574 remaining]
It became a gigantic fancy Shinto temple built with superb quality wood.
There are 3 buildings in total, the main praying sector and 2 small buildings for priests.
There's even a front yard with a water fountain.
I immediately pulled out a bunch of 'koi' fishes to raise inside the small pond.
I also asked the Beast chief to send me a few people doing housework inside this gigantic temple.
Of course I did plan to grow more trees around the Temple, the fresh air in early mornings is always nice.
Oh yeah!! Speaking of the pond, remember the Amphibian I threw into a pond in my apple garden before?
That guy was originally looked like a frog, but now he's a freaking huge, black Eel right now with sharp teeth and even a small pair of horns.
That pond wasn't even enough anymore, so I used points to expand it.
We took our time in the afternoon to prepare and threw a big banquet until midnight.
I was sandwiched between two drunken Miko...
I was planning to blame alcohol for my following actions, but I decided not to.
I left the Miko Elf, Yuuah, to her guard and I brought Leila back to her hut myself.
I was about to leave the hut when she unconsciously tugged on my sleeve.
Turning back to see what did she want, I saw sparkling lines running down her cheeks.
「Sighh...」
Must have been dreams about the slave time again.
I patted her head and stroked her hair a little before quietly remove her hand from my sleeve.
The girl was so damn stubborn she grabbed my arm and sleep talked "don't go...".
Thus, I stayed and slept with her for that night.
No, I'm innocent, I haven't touched her yet, she was sleeping too soundly I just couldn't bring myself to feel any hot tension.
Ahhh I'm sleepy. Goodnight.

Dear Spellbook (Rewrite)
Live. Study. Repeat. Tal never saw himself as an adventurer, but the call to adventure never much cared for his opinion. Despite his best efforts, his search for answers on the murder of his parents ever draws him into danger. Accompanied by a group of seasoned warriors, thus far Tal has gotten by on his own meager magical talents, but when one day he wakes up to find himself back in his bed of the night before, he is faced with a challenge he must conquer alone. What to expect: This story was born of an attempt to create in world lore reasons for many of the mechanics and tropes of D&D, but you do not need to know of them to enjoy the story. It's a single POV time loop story with slow paced progression fantasy elements. The story is not one of fast-paced power ups and non-stop action, but as it progresses, the action picks up. There is a lot of magic system exploration on a system built to unify the diverse magic of D&D into one cohesive magic system. The setting is an original world with familiar races and monsters but with new unique origins and motivations. The average chapter will be 2-5k words long, most being around 3k but there are a few less than 1k, due to the nature of the story telling device I used. Book 1 is complete. Posting is on hold until I finish book 2. Book 2 progress: The rough draft is done at 141656 words as of 7/9/2022. I need to reread and edit it but Im aiming for resuming chapters in September.

Death Cultivator (Cultivator in Another World Vol. I & II)
Fight for your Soul. New cultivator Grady Hake thought his problems would disappear when he became a member of the strongest gang on the prison planet, but all it did was thrust him into the kill-or-be-killed world of the Eight-Legged Dragons. Now if he wants to survive, he’ll have to learn to cloak his deadly Spirit attacks in shadow, control the ancient revenant trying to take over his mind, and defeat the Angel of Death who dropped him on Van Diemann in the first place. Death Cultivator is sci-fi / isekai / wuxia / western / whatever, sort of like Borderlands meets Hunter x Hunter. I wanted to write something entertaining and actiony with that shonen vibe, so here's hoping this hits the spot. Warning: This isn't an isekai where the MC immediately becomes OP and starts revenge-killing everyone once he gets Death powers. Death is coming, but it's a slow burn. Like some of the reviewers for Volume I mentioned, the MC has a past and it effects his actions and choices in the new world.

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess. (This work is also being serialised on Webnovel under the name Revile as a trial run)
