《(On Hold) Regarding my time being a God, it was fun》[Volume One] Chapter 008

I had a lot of fun writing this one, hope you all liked it.
Start of Disturbances
[Points: 9,060 remaining]
There has not been anyone stopping by this place since the incident with the perverts.
I also threw another 200 into attraction.
[Attraction]: 4
And 400 into upgrading the idol.
From the outside it became a lot nicer now.
I'll stop there, because, as I said, I'm having something big in mind to spend.
It will be a pretty damn convenient thing to have.
But at the same time it's so expensive I wanted to cry upon seeing it.
Why didn't I get fancy clothes for Leila?
Well, first, she'll absolutely feel uncomfortable being given fancy clothing.
And then comes the most important reason...
It's easy to move in.
She has not regained the full fighting prowess of battle bunnies her age yet.
So giving her armor and stuff would be pretty, well, stupid.
Why did I say that?
Judging from the way most battle bunnies fight I saw in games...
If she only has that dress, no mortal being weaker than a Demon would be able to chase her.
Thus it would be the best choice to let her have a better chance of running away, rather than a tiny chance of winning a fight...
Of course I did confirm this with Leila before deciding.
So that's that...
Then right after lunch time, a whole crusade of people armed to the teeth marched through my land.
The person that seemed to be the leader stopped by and offered a prayer.
[Points +140→9,200]
They didn't even care to look at Leila who was holding the watering can staring at them.
The bunch seemed to be not just mere adventurers.
They had uniformed armor and a flag.
According to Leila, they're from the Southern Empire.
Judging from their chest-emblems, she guessed that they belong to the free group that receive orders to subjugate high-level monsters...
Aside from the leader-like person, a few more came in and prayed.
Mostly for a safe trip or safety for loved ones among the Knights.
After a few people going out with my LV.1 buffs, a crowd was formed.
Leila freaked out so I told her to go back to her hut and ordered the Elder Hobgoblin to guard her tightly.
The people passing by only "uwhoaaa" at her body guard and then didn't care about it anymore.
It was rather tiring...listening to all 350 of them.
Half of them weren't even seriously praying.
So of course, they left empty-handed.

[Points +10,000→19,200 remaining]
Their faith were only average, around 80/person.
But after more than 100 of those not so faithful people, I gained a huge chunk of points.
It was so amazing I stared at it with widened eyes.
After that crowd of people went away, I immediately started spending my points.
200 for attraction.
[Attraction]: 5
300 for [LV.3 Holy Barrier]
→[Points: 18,700 remaining]
Then I added a [Medium Pond(200P)] and threw in there [Infant-Demonic Amphibian(500P)].
Later on I'll expand this pond into a huge lake and have that demon be the guardian of the lake.
I gave Leila [Mana Stone Package(100P)] to feed it everyday.
This package would last for an entire year.
She only needs to feed it one stone per day.
How did I know that?
Did I raise Demonic Amphibians before?
Nope.
I read the instructions in the Menu.
I'm a man that reads instructions properly.
→[Points: 17,900 remaining]
Another 700 to upgrade the shrine.
→[Points: 17,200 remaining]
It became a brick house instead of wooden.
Then I summoned another [Iron Golem(200P)] and had it guard the back of the Shrine.
→[Points: 17,000 remaining]
Another 100 to upgrade Leila's hut.
Bathroom wasn't needed since I already built her one.
→[Points: 16,900 remaining]
500 more points were thrown into upgrading the fences.
It now became a wooden wall 1 meter tall with 2 gates.
→[Points: 16,400 remaining]
Suddenly, a huge noise rang and echoed throughout the whole forest.
Followed by the sounds of screaming and swords clashing.
I pulled out the surveillance monitor and checked what happened.
The wolves also smelled a lot of blood.
It was the earlier group of Southern Empire people.
They were exchanging blow with another group.
Unlike the Empire Knights, that other group didn't have uniformed armor.
They were just a bunch of various people.
But they fought on par with the Knights.
Then a person in black robe on the side of the diverse-group launched an offensive spell.
The earlier noise was recreated once again.
Of course, Leila freaked out and ran into the shrine.
She hid under the offering able and rolled up like an infant trembling.
Don't worry...it's OK...I'll protect you!
I patted her head with my non-physical hand and returned to keeping track on the fight.
After more than an hour or so the battle came to a halt.
Both sides withdrew back to their base-camps.
Casualties seemed to be equal.
Right after that wild beasts and monsters started to run wild.
They scattered everywhere and ran like no tomorrow.

Even the pack-hunting species became disorganized.
Suddenly I received a pretty damn hard to swallow notification.
[Danger: Mythical Being awakened. Status: Unknown. Type: Unknown. Race: Unknown. Danger Level: S+]
A being that even a God's system can't identify?
Too dangerous, if you asked me...
Damn.
I was just about to spend points on the big thing I wanted.
Guess I'll have to leave that aside and strengthen our defense first.
I pulled up the [Guardians] menu and surfed through it for the first time.
Since the free Golem time I've only been looking at cheap crap on the first page.
Now's the chance to spend on a few high-ranking badass...
Hmmmmmm????
T-These are...
Why?
I don't get it...
What's happening?!?
T-This Arch Demon...this Exiled Seraph...this Chaos Priest...
All of these...all of the guardians from page two and beyond...
Were mini-bosses, field-bosses, event-bosses and dungeon bosses from all the MMORPGs I've played before!!!
Even the ones from those few games I participated in programming were in here...
Don't tell me...
No. It can't be...
I switched to the [Spells] tab.
The first page were all foreign things I've never heard.
Then onto the second page...
Divine Judgement...Nether Strike...Stellar Rage...
Familiar!
Stardust Melody...Shadow Spike...Moonlight Assault...
Familiar! Familiar...
Everything from page two and beyond...
...were absurdly familiar...
These are all the skills I knew in MMORPGs...
Same goes for the [Food] and [Items] tab...
Anything beyond he first page was taken directly from my knowledge...
What the hell...is happening...that scary woman didn't say anything about this...
No.
Let's immediately calm down.
We have another pressing need right now.
Though all the things beyond the first page were familiar.
They were still very expensive in terms of points.
Let's think about this real quick...
I returned to the [Guardians] tab and found a drop down menu that the first page didn't have.
[Adapting from]: All (select one source to filter)
I opened that drop down menu and was stunned again.
Chronicle Online...Phantasma Online...Tenma Online...World of Sins Online...
Every single title of MMORPG I've played before showed up.
All of them were listed inside that drop down list.
Alright.
Think harder, Arata!!
A special feature of Bosses from Chronicle Online was high damage and huge in size.
Bosses from Tenma Online were mostly cute ladies with absurd shape shifting skills.
Then...that's right!!! That's it!!
In Phantasma Online, Bosses always have summoning skills.
They can call up underlings that were normally high-level monsters.
Especially that one guy who has Chaos-attribute.
He could easily neutralize anything aside from Stellar-attribute.
The Chaos Priest, the final Boss of a dungeon called "Ruins of Divinity"...
Haha bingo!
I never thought knowledge in games would help this much!!
I scrolled down a bit and found the guy.
[LV.300 Chaos Priest(10,000P)]
Corrupted High Priest of an Ancient religion.
Can summon 5 Skull Face Angels per day.
Special Ability: Chaos Demon Combat Form.
Yikes...
Looking at that price hurt my miserable heart.
He previously could summon underlings endlessly, but I guess that'd be too OP...
But let's not be stingy about self-defense.
I also have Leila, and probably the pregnant wolf to defend...
Alright.
Let's do this with resolution!
I clicked [Summon].
Ten thousand Points, without any wings, flew away instantly.
A black lightning struck down from the sky in broad daylight.
The moment it touched the ground, a shock wave was sent out.
Black lightning gathered and took shape...
「Yes! You called, my God. Your servant is ready for service even with the cost of his life」
A man in black priest clothing and a bible in his hand appeared.
He turned to where I was floating midair and knelt down.
Huuuuhh?
How did he see me?
I was supposed to be invisible!!
「Um...you can see me?」
「I'm afraid these naked eyes are not able to catch your holy body...but I can at least sense your highness' divinity...」
And he can hear me, too!!!
According to him, he could hear my words by deciphering the so called "holy radiation" from me while I speak.
I see...this would be a lot easier to deal with.
An intelligent subordinate who listens to mouth-orders are slightly better than one that has to be set up by coding...
「Hmph! Very well then. I look forward to your service. Succeed in your tasks and your rewards shall not be disappointing!」
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
So. Fucking. Chuunibyou!!!!
Where the hell did I get that from at this time??
It completely came out of the blue.
I swear I did not plan ahead for that chuuni speech!!
「Yes, my God. Though your praises are already very satisfying rewards, I shall succeed your orders even at the cost of my life」
Good.
Seems like he's really loyal.
He's strong, I can't fight him as I am now...
But I'm confident I can instantly make Leila escape.
Now that I know about the games I played affecting the Menu, it'll be easy for me to just send Leila away with my knowledge on spells...
「I am pleased to hear so. Now, this shall be your first order...」

This future sci-fi fantasy follows the progression of a few main characters as they navigate their unique spheres of life in the year 2242. The story focuses heavily on themes of guilt, personal failing, and penance. The conflict revolves around two main concepts: Man vs. Himself (Internal conflict) and Man vs Man (External conflict). The internal conflicts focus on many of the characters' inner demons and how each of them deal with the scars of the past. The external conflict centers around a mysterious criminal organization called Nexus that conducts human trafficking. There are three groups of main characters. The first group belong to a vigilante mercenary organization called Ab Aeterno. Titus, Venna, and Benjamin are Achilles team. This team is a part of Ab Aeterno's special forces branch which is designated Demon Stalkers. Their goal and mission is to perform assassinations, abductions, and destabilization operations on criminal organizations throughout the solar system. Their current mission places them directly in the path of Nexus. Titus interacted with them in his past and they seem to have unlimited reach, resources, and power. As the team faces this threat, old wounds will surface and dangerous connections to the past will emerge. The second group of characters are on the Mars colony. Randal Page is an analyst for a talent scout company on Mars. He is faced with the reality that the company he thought he was working for is in fact Nexus. His story centers around his coming to realize the duplicity of the company he works for and then his response to the startling realization of his own ignorant involvement. Also on Mars is a woman named FaRarra Njokko. She is a Nexus sex slave in a brothel on Mars and is known by the stage name of Stardust. She is striving to escape when her path crosses with Randal. The final main character is Preston Coretel. He is a monk with a mysterious and shady past. He is on the run from Nexus in more ways than one. He is seeking sanctuary on an abandoned monastery space station in order to avoid agents of Nexus and to atone for his previous involvement with Nexus.
