| Eastern Road to Adelade |
My eyes awaken groggily to quiet daybreak. The sound of birds chirping and blades of grass moving created a serene atmosphere.
The flower's scent flooded my nose and made my eyes widen with a pleasant aroma.
I look over to my left to where Aiyoma was last seen to be greeted with her missing carcass.
"Aiyoma? Are you here?"
Picking myself up, I pat my backside and start climbing down the boulder.
Reaching the bottom of the rock, my boots make a subtle yet anemic sound as they reach the ground.
The mountain dew sparkles with sunlight being worn by the ground's grass.
"Where'd she run off too?"
I cup my hands over my eyes and look into the woodline.
I wander into the woods, hearing a flood of sorts.
Continuing my walk, a hidden waterfall greets me with a stream with clear sparkling water. The ground's grass turns to rubble as I make way for the oasis.
My eyes shift to the left to be met with a young girl, nude, bathing near the waterfall. Her hair was long and luscious as beads of water washed through her locks.
Her physique was that of an hourglass, with incredibly smooth-looking skin.
She lifts her hair and faces me, her breasts covered by a few stray strands.
"M-Momoko?"
She covers her breasts with one hand.
"If you'd like to join me, you may… but please don't stare... "
I shade my eyes once more and gasp.
"Aiyoma, that's you?!"
Running over to the side of the river, I gaze upon her illustrious figure.
"Damn girl, want some fries with that shake?"
Aiyoma blushes and turns to face the rushing water.
"I'm not familiar with that phrase, but I do believe it's having to do something with my body!"
"In my language, it means you have a pretty rockin' bod'!"
She turns back to me and looks towards the water.
"T-thanks, I guess."
"W-would you like to join me perhaps?"
What? Out here?!
"Aren't you…you know...embarrassed? What if a guy sees you?"
She stares at me blankly.
"But everyone takes bathes in lakes and rivers, both males and females."
Do these people have no shame?!

"Well,"
I start taking off my attire.
"While in Rome!"
Throwing off my boots, I dip my feet into the stream.
"Cold, cold, cold!"
Aiyoma peaks behind and gazes at my exposed body.
"You talk about my figure... But your milkshake would also be needing of fries!"
"W-what?"
I look into the water to see my reflection.
My jet black hair has grown out a bit and now reaches my shoulders, still looking rough and pointed. Unknowingly I realize that I'm not wearing my glasses, yet my vision is fine, perhaps even better from when they were worn.
My physique hasn't changed that much, but I have gained a bit of muscle from all the arduous work Aiyoma and her dad made me do. It also appears that I've gained a slight six-pack.
I cup my breasts and feel a bit of weight, but nothing too impressive. I turn my head towards Aiyoma and eye her voluptuous bosom.
"What's up with these things anyway?"
I run over to her backside and give her breasts a feel.
"These things are amazing; You're hiding these gems under all that armor!"
"H-hey!"
She jumps and glows red.
"... Cut that out!"
. . .
We finish bathing, put on our clothes, and walk through the wood-line and make way for the road.
Aiyoma points toward's the horizon.
"We're considerably close, just a far's way from here. We should reach Adelade by tonight."
"Sounds good,"
I stretch my legs out and start walking along the road.
"Onward!"
We continue the trail for a while and are met with a brisk wind that blows my hair into the air.
Aiyoma stops walking and turns toward the ground. Small drops of blood, both red and black paved the dirt.
The knight bends down and picks up a piece of fur that's dampened with a dark liquid.
"Maku."
She raises and looks forward.
"Maku?"
Aiyoma strides forward at a faster pace.
"Aggressive Beasts. They're Emerald-class but extremely dangerous for travelers."
I move forward, keeping with her pace.
"Looks like someone was fighting with one."
A large explosion can be heard, and a large tree crashes down ahead of us.
"Let's go, Momoko!"

Aiyoma dashes forward with swiftness and intent.
"R-right behind you!"
I say, running but nowhere near her speed.
At a clearing, we are greeted by three beasts with white fur standing on their hind legs, presenting muscular arms and a sturdy figure.
However, they aren't facing us and surround a female with bright red hair.
Aiyoma halts at the scene.
I run and stop at Aiyoma's side
"Are those the beast's fur from earlier?"
"Indeed,"
She held the handle of her blade, still covered by her scabbard.
"They seem to be ganging up on that lass."
Looking past the monsters, a girl wielding two large blades with long chains connecting them both is revealed to me.
One of the furred beasts advances at her while throwing their huge fists in her vicinity. She quickly dodges to the right and throws out one of her blades by its handle at her attacker.
The creature backs away, trying to move out the way of the weapon. However, the red-haired girl releases a chain, and the sword elongates, severing the beast's arm.
It screeches in pain, and the other two beasts react and advance. The young girl draws her blade back and throws them both at her attackers; They move out the way and circle her.
She reels in her blades and throws them back out at the creatures. They dodge and come at her from both sides.
"Momoko!"
Aiyoma charges at the beasts.
"Right!"
I quickly follow her lead and advance to the left.
The wounded beast looks behind as Aiyoma draws her blade and cuts through its torso. Its innards spray across the ground as Aiyoma scrapes the ground with her rapier, leaving a bloody trail.
The two furred beasts look over to their defeated comrade and run forward to confront us.
The one on the right closes in on me and throws a jab.
"HELENA!"
A shockwave forms around me breaking its attack. Rays of light appear around me, and I'm equipped with my claymore.
The monster repeats its attacking, but I dodge to the left jolting my sword forward into its arm, severing its hand. It howls in torment and attempts to land a ferocious bite. I grab its head with my hand and push it back, landing a clean sword thrust through its face.
Its upper head is cut clean off leaving a mess of brains, skin, and fur flying through the air.
I look to the beast and back at my blade.
I-I did it! My first kill with my trusted—
As soon as I begin to praise my claymore it quickly disappears once more along with my armor.
Of fuc**** course.
A large shadow forms behind me.
"What the—"
I look to my rear and see another furred beast, this one with gray fur, appear out of nowhere.
Crap! Crap! Crap!
It closes in on me and unsheathes its claws.
"Momoko!"
Aiyoma runs towards me but is cut off by the third furred beast.
The grey monster raises its arm and lunges for my body.
In an instant, a chained blade cuts through its torso leaving it paralyzed. The beast looks back to the red-haired girl, coughing up blood.
She whips the chain and in effect, the blade turns horizontal and cuts it in half. Its torso cut evenly, blood and guts spew, with its still-beating heart sliding out of its left side. The beast's eyes are red with blood as it wheezes and draws its last breath.
I look over to Aiyoma who swiftly en-lodges her rapier into the right side of the furred beast. It stops moving and falls to the floor, convulsing black fluids.
Aiyoma wipes her rapier on the monster's fur, cleaning it of blood, and slides it into her scabbard.
She rushes over to me with a distressed look on her face.
"Are you Ok?"
She checks my body frantically.
"Did you get hurt anywhere?"
"N-no, totally fine,"
I point over to the red-haired girl.
"She saved me actually."
Aiyoma and I walk over to the girl, her chained swords disappear in rays of light.
"W-wait what,"
Upon getting a closer look at her my eyes widen.
"You're that girl from the Callistus showing!"
"I thought I recognized you,"
She moves her long red hair back against her ear.
"... Guess you got sent here as well."

The Big Yoink: A Smol Detective Story
This is another fanfic set in the universe of They Are Smol, a delightful series of stories which you should totally go read right now if you haven’t. It’s a sequel to my own The Smol Detective. In this story, Oscar Williams and his adopted alien family have to determine the guilt or innocence of another human and her two alien friends. The trio stands accused of stealing a sacred relic, and if it isn’t found soon an ancient religious cold war could turn very hot indeed… Formal Disclaimer Type Thing: I do not take credit for the original setting, this story is set in an alternate version of the 'They are Smol' universe, written by the one, the only u/tinyprancinghorse. TPH takes many forms and is known by many names. He is like Nyarlathotep, only smaller and cuter and more prancey. TPH also has a Website should you require more Smol Shenanigans in your life. Which you do, so get over there and read it. The cover art for this sequel again comes courtesy of the mighty Akella, and they deserve lots of headpats from giant aliens because they are awesome.

Monster? So be it,
Generic Monster Isekai story. Guy dies, meets a god, the entity says that he is willing to reincarnate him to a new world as a new creature, etc etc. The protagonist is an established serial killer on his past life so I'll probably make a grimdark setting or something. Idk
