Winter is almost over. I finally made a breakthrough with the steel wolf. He was always just standing in the room with the ruby lock motionless, soulless. I was cleaning the sanctuary from spiderwebs and moss when I noticed that his belt is tilted and loose. When I touched it to fix it, I realized that it is covered by dentures with strange patterns. It is a touch language known to Oathkeepers. I cannot disclose here what the message told me to recite in case this diary is stolen by looters. But I said the words and the steel wolf did a motion. He extended his arm as if he wanted something and remained still. I had only two things to give. My sword and the oath candle. I placed the candle in his hand and lit it. The wolf inhaled the light, his eyes began to shine, he looked around. I pointed to my chest and said: "Kervet". He replied: "Follow? Attack? Protect?". After a short conversation, I discovered he only knows these three words. Either way, I am happy to have a companion.
