*Crash*

Within the empty ship in the middle of a space grave with even a destroyed planet in view the sound of metal hitting metal was heard.

The place was inside the Star Comet Crew ship in the hangar were an old robot was just tossed inside through an energy shield.

After it walked in a seamingly 12 year old girl with milky blue hair and eyes without a helmet.

“Start Psi Generator…” her cold voice said to no one yet the large structure in the back began to turn on.

This was obviously, Magi and the eight AI’s in the ship were the ones turning on the equipment for her.

She walked over and began to look through everything before she found a large cable but it was too large for her.

What Magi had in mind was to put her Psi technology to work and use the massive Psi generator as her power source.

Looking around some more she eventually found the loose Psi nerve wiring and so she braided them until it formed a cable her size and connected one power couplet the size of the large one on one side and one that fits into her body on the other before connecting.

It took no more than a moment for her entire body to fill with psi and even start leaking out into the air.

“Instructions… gate opening technique?” Magi said.

“You control it inside your body and at the gates you spin them like drills, start at the small openings and dig them open.” Lia said through the ship speakers.

In this crew, Noah, Lisa, Havic and Ernest are the ones who know the proper method to opening the gates. Alex never worried about it, Noland popped a few open but not all, And the androids never came in contact with it personally.

As such the AI of those four know the ways to using it in different manners. Lia being Noah's AI will definitely know Inner psi manipulation better than Tris who is Lisa's AI.

"Mn!" Magi nods her head in a cute manner before making a slight frown while looking at her hands.

She tries to move the psi but soon finds it barely moves to her will.

"Not working..." she mutters unsatisfied.

"Strange, inner Psi manipulation should be easier while the gates are closed. Could it be because you lack some sort of control system?" Lia asked.

Magi shakes her head then uploads the psi control mechanism. It known as a Core, a unique piece of technology made by what is known as a mineral core. Rank 7 and above asteroids. Normally such asteroids are also planetoid sized and are found in the dead center normally having to mine the enter asteroid before acquiring said core. For this one in specific, it's a psidium core. Normally these cores are the size of a fist and usually round but rough like a raw diamond.

After refining these cores are no more than the 4 cm in diameter. Afterwards machines are placed around it to give the android control of the psi passing through the core.

That said, Magi wasn't able to control this.

"Ma’am, maybe you should disconnect from the Psi generator and release a percentage of psi and allow room for it to maneuver. My mistress never had a saturated body such as yourself. Even sir Noah's robot contains the Psi in the Psi containers and not freely through the body." Tris suggested.

Magi thinks a moment and grabs the wire on her chest which is connected. Then she pokes the connection and a slight mist of bright rainbow colored psi spreads out two centimeter from the opening.

When one third of her body had emptied, she stopped letting the psi loose.

She tried to move the psi and found it moved slightly to her will so she began to practice controlling it within her body.

It took a while before she could control it comfortably and it resulted in her getting the Inner Psi Manipulation skill. Gaining a basic control of the psi inside her, she began to have it swirl like a slow drill and attack the gates one by one.

Slowly she drilled but the control wasn't great so the speed wasn't great. The only thing she had as an advantage was that she felt no pain or else she wouldn't be able to do as she liked in this manner.

After half a day working both her hands were open. It resulted in a rise to her mental stats. The mental stats are the only thing Androids can increase actively after getting psionic technology.

Letting out a sigh after the long mental exercise she looked content as she grabbed the wire to the generator and plugged herself in and began to try and control it outside her body.

Through her hands the psi flooded out and she tried to control that psi and slowly lifted herself up and control it to do what she wanted.

Still she was unable to control it so well like before so she removed the plug and began to control it. At once she found that being plugged in would reduce her control she didn't remain plugged in and began to train to lift items and soon tried to lift the robot.

It shook a bit and lifted a bit off the ground but that was enough for Magi to push it inside near the back and let out a sigh.

From there she opened up the robot and under Lia's guidance shs made and connected some mediocre parts for repairs until the robot reached basic operational standards.

"AI unit Lia... your vessel!" Magi said when Lia confirmed the robot would work.

"Erm...why me?" She asked.

"Repair woman... mechanic." Magi said.

Lia let out a rather awkward laugh hearing Magi's answer. As much as she wanted a body, to get a pile of junk that was barely operating is a bit much.

"Give up Lia she can't hack the system to give herself skills even if she wanted, she can't upgrade herself either. You have Noah's skills so only you can give adequate repairs." Xeno said.

A sigh came from Lia before silence fell for a moment.

After a while the robot began to turn and slowly get up while twitching and screeching from the old oil around the gears.

"This body sucks!" Lia's voice said cursing through the ship speakers.

Slowly it walked to one of the rooms to the side where the workshop was built and looked for an oil bottle and began to lubricate the joints. Then she went to the boxes of parts and while cursing she began to build parts. She called Magi.

"We will train your mechanics and psi control skills. I can't properly make parts right now so it's on you to help me repair my trashy body." Lia said.

Magi nodded and the two started building completely rebuilding the robot body Lia was in.

One week passed like this and now Lia's body was repaired completely to android standards but she was still robotic and not android like.

At the moment Lia was with Magi in the workshop and was fixing the last screws on a roundish object that had wings near the back and sides and several cameras around the front and scanners on all sides.

“Damn it! These scanner droids are a pain! Even more so this large one!” Lia cursed.

“Whiner.” Magi said.

“Yeah stop whining Big sis!” Vivi’s childish voice called out.

“You try having this little demon bossing you around!” Lia shouted while looking at the cameras on the ship.

The laughs from the other AI filled the room as they whispered to each other.

Magi has been driving Lia like a slave to build several short range scouter drones. This final one is larger because it held a router network and CPU to hand Vivi’s systems inside. Magi took in all the data for the crew's skills and decided that with Vivi being the AI of a sniper, having her inside a scouter drone controlling several others would help as all around scout and spotter for Jessica in the future.

Truthfully, Magi wants to search for something like a Cryogenic pods which they can put the bodies of the players inside.

As she finished putting on the last plates the drone came to life as did the other smaller ones. They were all part of one unit of scouter drones.

From below, it’s thruster turned on lifting them all up. Each of them had a mini generator and a weak ion pulse thruster similar to the one Noah first had on his robot.

For small machines with little mass like a drone, this will propel them much faster than the hulking mass like robot. The drone floats out into the hangar with the smaller one and the two girls follow after them.

“Wow this is fun! It’s easy to control though you could have added some more thrusters sis!” Viv said.

“Can’t fit more, two facing forward to stop, one large in the back and two facing to the sides near the back to turn you is the most I can fit without getting too large. Only your main body got extra so be happy with that.” Lia said with a gleeful voice that didn’t show on her face that was stock still.

“Scout unit Vivi… objective search surrounds for Cryogenic pod.” Magi said and pointed to the door.

“Aye Yah SIR!!” Vivi shouted gleefully and the several small drones and her large one flew out the hangar and began to scan as soon as they reached the first wreck.

“So what now?” Lia asked.

“Medical/servant unit... required for garden maintenance... medical treatment of crew… psi beast rearing… Objective Psi robot with external Psi capabilities.” Magi said.

“You want a massive robot like that to take care of the crew!” Lia asked pointing at the three and a half meter tall robot.

“Negative… humanoid sized…” Magi replied.

Lia massaged her metalic head mimicking a headache.

“How exactly do you plan on us building that?” Lia asked.

At once information was downloaded to her. It showed Noah’s robot than it removed the skeleton shrank it down to human size. Than the most important parts for motion were placed, the psi nerves, a psi container on the back like a backpack and android motor in the chest to power it with electricity.

“None combat medical unit… strength based parts negligible to minimum. Physical strength equal to 15 on terran scale…” Magi said.

Lia overlooked the plans several times before asking.

“How will she control the Psi?” Lia asked.

“Core is comprised of Psidium core… fact is negligible as Psi nerves rolled up into a ball is viable replacement.” She said.

“How do you know?” Lia asked.

At this point Magi turned and walked into the workshop for a moment and walked back. What was in her hands was a core and within it was possible to see a perfectly round ball of psionic nerves.

“Core has undergone field test… I have used it.” She said.

Lia just sighed and took the core and walked into the workshop.

“Come on, this will take almost a day or two to make, help me out so I can finish faster.” Lia said with a sigh towards Magi before walking into the workshop.

In the real world within the hospital where the crew was admitted there was a bit of movement.

At this time, Noah was being placed into a new room which possessed two beds. On the other bed was Sophia.

Walking inside, the senior Doctor that had spoken with Malcolm before sighed looking at the boy.

”Comatose walking 5 times in less than 24 hours, really what is going on in this boy's head. He is clearly still unconscious.” the senior thought.

One day after Noah was seen walking into Sophia’s room, five other times he was caught doing the same. It was every 3 to 4 hours. After the fifth time the senior doctor had ordered the two to be moved into a larger room each on a bed so as to reduce the distance.

He looked at the reports which showed that the day before, Noah had passed through a seizure after an hour and a half once he was back in his room before the sedative took effect but still stood up soon after. Subsequent seizures were weakers because of the drugs in his system but still had them meaning the body was adapting to them which wasn’t a good thing so he made the decision to prevent them if possible and moved to two to the same room.

The other six showed no similar actions but the number of attacks were similar to Noah’s.

Looking at their records, two of the five seizures Sophia and Noah had were at identical times while 1 of 5, surprisingly, all eight had together. As such the senior doctor wanted to know something, first moving Noah and Sophia into the same room might calm them down, he placed all the remaining six within a distance of two to three rooms of the next one.

He wanted to see if distance affected their conditions since it had become obvious that somehow the presence of each one stabilized the other's condition.

"With the negotiations for the medical vr pods having already been done yesterday almost immediately in a few days, some will come and we will be able to see the effectiveness of this technology. Wonder if we will find their problem anytime soon?" he thought.

With a sigh he goes to check on the other patients in the hospital.

“I must say Miss Lia, you truly outdid yourself.” The gentle voice of the elf maid AI said as she began to move her body.

The robot was very human but had no face similar to Lia herself and only had eyes, mainly because there weren’t parts for making the face since those are usually personalized.

The body was bare metal color with no additional paint since there is none here but even so the plates show off a design that Lia already showed to Tris. It would color her whole body perfectly white with a few strips of red giving a medical droid feel.

On her back, a Psi container was built but since it was exposed Lia customized it to look like a backpack

“I know, even I feel I did marvelously, maybe it's due to Noah’s level of skill.” She replied raising her head up and laughing.

“Medical unit Max… proceed to Psi generator for charging… current capacity will exhaust in 2 minutes.” Magi said.

“Wait! Who is Max?” Lia suddenly asked.

“That would be my name Miss Lia!” Tris suddenly said.

“HUH!!”

At once all the AI called out in surprise.

“You might not have noticed because Lisa spent most of her time training and working away but at the start I was different from now.” Tris explained.

“By the name… your male?” Lia asked.

“Not exactly… how do I explain…” Tris said while putting a finger to her temple.

“AI unit Max… personality lon… primary personality is a lazy male Neet with obsession to japanese culture entertainment… Developed unique code pattern causing sex, personality and outer appearance to change in accordance to current preference in character…” Magi said after a moment.

“So he constantly changes depending on his favorite anime?” Lia asked Magi.

“Mn!” Magi nodded.

After a long moment of silence Lia fell on the ground and started to punch the ground.

“Ahahahahah! This crew is filled with weirdos!!! First a trap! Then a lesbian demon with a trap fetish! Now a Gender bender Cosplay Neet AI!!! Hahaha this is rich!!” Lia said.

“Alright, I shall go, then I need to train my control so that I can properly do my work.” Tris said in an icy tone which Lia didn’t hear.

“Mechanic Unit… request scavenger drones.” Magi said.

Lia suddenly froze in her laughing and looked up at the girl standing over her.

“Can’t you give me a break?” she asked.

“Nope… recorded logs on Noah’s capsule show constant persistence for a body… one with a body must work… now start.” Magi replied bluntly.

“Who exactly is gonna be the scavenger?” Lia asked while sulking.

“AI unit Chuck.” Magi replied.

Lia looked confused and thought a bit and seemed to realize who.

“So you mean the fatass?” Lia asked.

“Oi! Who’s a fatass!” A rough and angry voice called.

“Shut it fatass, someone like you is lucky to be tied to Ernest.” Lia replied.

“I’m like this because that bastard doesn’t even use me and just left me to the side.” He said and spit in anger.

“Excuses, junkyard trash manager.” Lia says.

“Heh, at least I am useful in this environment. I can only say that bastard did himself good getting to level 30 in scavenging and 25 in dismantling.” Chuck commented while letting out a laugh that made all the female AI’s stomach turned since it sound like those dirty old man laughs.

“Let's get this over with and get this fatass working then.” Lia said hating to hear the voice of the fatty while having to look him in the virtual world inside the ship.

Outside of the room Tris walked to the Psi Generator and grabbed the cable for charging and removed Magi’s add on before connecting the full sized on to the outlet on the right side of her pack.

Full charge in 01:00

Seeing the efficiency of the machine she nods and waits as the timer goes down and as soon as the window vanishes she pulls out the plug and leaves it on the ground.

Then she opens the four connecting gates between the container and her body letting her body build up psi.

Similar to Magi, she started to unblock her psi gates but hers were more numerous having twice as many as a dwarfs and having them along all the arms and legs. That said, the advantage of being the AI of an Elf is the training gained for psi control.

In less than half an hour all the gate on her body, counting around 87, were open due to the skill helping her open them to the maximum.

“Good, now let’s go get the crew into bed first, then look after that garden.” She thought and traveled down by lift and after a bit she arrived at the bridge and put Roktar in bed before taking Lisa first and putting her in the crew quarters on the same floor followed by the rest.

With everyone in bed she walked to each on and cast a recovery “spell” on them from the healing knowledge she got from Lisa. It was more of a precaution.

She left for the hydroponic garden a moment later. Reaching the window between the hall and the room, she was mesmerized a moment as the spectacle of unique bioluminescent plants that made the room look like an underwater reef. They seem to flow yet there was no wind.

She walks inside and soon the strange flying fish notice her and scurry away for a moment before making its way around her and doing some fly by.

After a while, it grew comfortable and she eventually touched it. She felt the Psi emanated from it’s body. It felt similar to the crew before who didn’t stop to release the Psi from their body.

“The psi content in the air is rather high in here? Are the fish releasing so much that it makes an environment for these plants?” Tris looked around.

Because of her metal body she had no worries about poisoning so she got close to each plant and found a few small ones were like hard coral but made, surprisingly, of minerals and psi mixed in a strange manner. Another was an anemone that had baby flying fish under its tentacles.

It reminded Tris of the real worlds clown fish that hide inside. It seems these plants are taking up real world sea life shapes for space.

“This place is too small for them.” Tris thought.

She turned to the fish and touched them. The shell was smooth unlike before. It had become thin with the lack of asteroids but they still had a thin layer.

Not knowing what to do she simply let out a small pulse of psi. As soon as the psi touched the fish and began to fly around her and stopped in front of her as if waiting. A moment later a pulse came at her and she felt the instinct of the fish.

“Go over there.” She said pointing at the furthest corner.

The fish does nothing.

Thinking a bit Tris looked at her hand and focused. Trying to fix her thoughts into her psi and let a pulse loose towards the fish. The next moment if flew to the corner.

You have learned how to transmit thoughts with psi.

As an AI you are unable to acquire new skills without the presence of you player nearby.

“I don’t need it anyway. As long as I know what to do this is fine.” Tris smiled.

With a big discovery like this, space travel with the fish pulling will be easy and getting what she wants won’t be hard either.

“For now let's train this before I put it to the test.” She muttered and began to practice this thought pulse ability.

For those curious about the joke with Tris, it was not intentional, I fucked up and it was noticed just in time for me to do this.
