《The Nebula》Chapter 7: Dwarf Fighter Boot camp

Author's Corner: Alright, first off i will go and say, to those who are still complaining about it. STOP BITCHING ABOUT THE FUCKING RACE!! Seriously, the fic is already at 13 chaps stored up to be edited, i will not fucking redo the entire fucking fic just to satisfy the ppl that want android MC especially when i will have more then one in the crew that will be forming in a few chapters.

PS: Besides the rant about the race, since so many ppl are unsatisfied with it, i removed the dwarven accent since so many ppl hated it. (pain in the ass really but whatever)

Enjoy

Okay... I had really underestimated the size of the space station since I can't see it from outside. Let me explain why.

The hangar area has a diameter of 50 meters and a length of 100 meters. I hadn't really thought about it even after I saw from the park that something may be behind it.

What is behind it is a 40 meter long depot separated into a few sections. Behind that is a 60 meter long factory separated in blocks for building numerous different things.

Asking Lia to make me a rough diagram as well as showing the places the hangar, depot and factory split off from as well as including the ring and its dimensions it ended like this.

(one of these "[" brackets is equal to 20 meters)

(one of these "_" underlines is equal to 10 meters)

(Sorry for the poor drawing, i can't use tab so it came out as shit)

This is what it looks like, though it still sucks. Yeah nearly twice as long as what I had thought and it didn’t actually end there. At the back of the factory was a long tunnel which lead to a second hangar with its own separate ring so it was like two massive towns in one station.

Anyways, I was in one of the blocks of the factory near the depot because the parts I was making were supposed to be some android parts for repairs. Gunner said I had to get them ready because there would be a regular influx of androids needing repairs. Though I would have liked to work with my hands, being in a 0 gravity area and working with small parts just doesn’t work out, especially when I had been given a quota to fill up three boxes (each around 30x30x30cm) with parts by the end of the shift at 15:00, but since each part had a few dozen components so it was taking an annoyingly long time.

It was currently 13:00 and I had just taken a break when a dwarf came through and gave me a closed plastic box with food which I enjoyed quite a lot. I had 2 boxes filled already.

As I put the last part into the second box a message appears.

Mechanic skill has leveled up

Seeing the mechanics skill level up, I call up the skill to see the boost I get from it.

Mechanic (mastery)Rarity1.5Level 4A mandatory skill for those who aspire to be Mechanics. This skill encases all the knowledge you possess of any form of Mechanics whether it’s building guns, items or even ships.

The Skill improves all mechanic operations by 2%.

This Skill stacks with other mechanic based skills improving the general performance.

“So the skill effect goes up 0.5 each level. So at level 100 it will improve my ability with mechanics by 50%, nice” I said and smile while wiping my forehead that was covered in sweat.

Using psi to build machine parts didn´t have a high consumption rate but my control isn’t that good so I always lost some with each action and after working for so long, the mental fatigue had started to build up. But there were some unexpected gains from this. Through several hours of constantly using Psi to build these parts fast enough I gained 1 mentality point.

With 0.55 psi regen I can recover 1 point every 2 seconds and my current capacity is 402 so it takes 13 minutes and 24 seconds to fully recharge my psi.

But that can change. Unlike before in the tutorial, I am now in the real game.

I start by removing my gloves and then focus on all 28 exits in my hands.

There was a slight flow leaving and entering through them.

I stop the leaking of psi from my hand and try to pull psi in from the outside into my body through the now obstructed exits.

It was faint but I did feel psi entering me so I close my eyes and focus on that feeling.

I saw how the new psi was just entered my hands and barely flowed beyond my wrists. That is when I remember that meditation in other games required to have the mana flow through the body.

So I have my remaining psiflow into my hands and mingle with the new Psi and pull the mixed Psi back into my body. I felt a change as a current was built and psi started to flow faster.

Soon I felt it hit the Limit and so I stopped the flow.

Looking at the time I realized I had saved nearly half the time I would have had to wait through meditating. Or was it something different?

MeditationRarity1Level 1Skill used by Psi users to regenerate their Psi at a quicker pace by absorbing the natural ambient Psi.

Increases Psi regen in proportion to the number of psi exits used to absorb Psi.

10 exits = 1

20 exits = 1.5

Now this is useful. So I can increase my psi regen to over 2 psi per second through meditating.

Seeing how I could now spam this I put the gloves back on and began working again.

I focus my attention to produce the parts as fast as possible but still construct them correctly.

I spend the remaining two hours assembling the parts one by one since I don’t have the control to construct multiple parts at the same time. Not to mention I wanted to train my external psi manipulation to actually get that skill. If I opened all the exits it may become easier, but what would be the fun of training and grinding if you didn’t do it in unfavorable conditions.

The moment the clock hit 15:00 o'clock the doors opened with Gunner there.

“Kid! You finished?” He says.

I almost lost my focus as I finish the part.

I take the part and put it into the box that was only filled up to a third.

“No, only got 2 full boxes and a third of the last one.” I said with a sigh.

He walks over and looks at the two full boxes and starts laughing.

“Not bad! Not bad! For your first time making ‘em, you did quite well. Never expected you to complete the order anyway with your mediocre skills in both mechanics and psi control, but still, two boxes is impressive enough. That shows that you are quite close to getting External Psi manipulation.” He said.

“How exactly do these skills help with Psi manipulation, besides just moving it around?” I asked.

“It makes it easier to change the structure of Psi. Tell me, did Colonel tell you to train them by buffing your body?” Gunner asked.

“Yeah, he said about thinking of making a rock like structure around my fists, arm muscles and skin.” I tell him.

“Have you tried that yet?” He asked.

“No, didn't have the time and don’t really get how to change the structure.” I tell him.

“Ever see what a crystal’s molecular structure is like?” he asked.

“It’s supposed to make polygonal shapes depending on the crystal.” I reply.

“More or less correct. ‘ere catch.” He says and tosses me a small yellow gem.

I catch it and look at the gem and notice it was a large fist sized topaz gemstone.

“You ain’t gonna learn how to change the structure of Psi just by practicing. Push your psi through there and feel and learn the structure. You can keep the stone for 3 days to learn.” He said and walked to one of the boxes, which were all made of metal, and put a lid on it and lifted it with ease. “Grab the other box. Android’s are starting to come in for repairs and you're on duty.” He says.

I nod and put the lid on the box. I then open the small tool box on my back and store the topaz stone before picking up the box and following him.

We crossed the depot and entered the hangar.

My eyes bulged a bit when I noticed the number of androids. It was easy to tell, they formed lines towards the several dozen repair and maintenance areas.

From far I could see lots of newbie mechanics at the spots with pro's teaching them.

Gunner led me to the nearest spot and told me to get to it then.

There were four other players there which were already working.

I take the last bench and me and Gunner put the boxes down.

"Alright, spot is open." Gunner shouted.

One of the androids walked over.

I looked at his feet and saw the Metallic soles used for magnetic boots.

He sat down and opened the back plates.

"Kay, get to it. But if any of 'em get cocky just kick ‘em away." Gunner said serious.

"Seems fine by me." I said and nodded.

I then unlatched the tool box which looked like a backpack and opened the first parts box and started to work.

Remembering what I had learned I began going through everything, making sure nothing was broken.

I found the first damaged part in the wrist followed by some more in the legs. The areas of most movement and impact I guess you could say.

Next one was similar as were most of the others.

There were some with cracks in the joints while some others literally had screws loose in their heads.

After three hours I met Jessica again.

"Again?" I asked.

"Beginner android bodies are quite fragile. I'll probably be bothering you or other mechanics several times a day before I can get out of this state.” She says and sits down.

"I see. Well, let's get to it." I said. She sits down and I start to work. It was then when I was changing a part on her left arm that I notice the stares from the other men.

I was wondering why but then I noticed that apart from her the line, consisted of only male androids. Which meant Jessica specifically waited to come for repairs here.

"So...is there a reason you came here instead of a female mechanic?" I asked as I started to attach the new part screwing it in.

"Gunner said to look for you, remember?" She replied.

"Yeah... I remember. Didn't think you would do what he said though." I replied frankly.

"Don't want others touching me. You’re uncle Nolands son so you are fine." She said.

"So it’s uncle now, huh? I Wonder which old friend dad was talking about. He had tons but not many to the degree of intimacy like this." I though. "Speaking of him, where is he?" I asked.

She waited for me to finish the part and then pointed to the huge dwarf checking out the robots.

"Uncle has a thing for large robots." She said.

"I know, when he played Second Life, he was called ‘the Tank’ because he owned and controlled over 50 large puppets. I bet later on he will ask for robot armor like that." I said.

"Did you ever play as a puppeteer?" She asked.

"A little, but it wasn't my favorite. Prefer the crafting based classes and jobs. I like to move and force my body more than what simply fighting can do." I tell her.

A smile appears on her face and I continue repairs on her other arm.

She was actually the most damaged android I repaired today.

"Exactly what are you doing? Your body received higher damage compared to other androids?" I asked as I finish her repairs.

She gets up and tests her body.

"Junkyard diving, looking for weapons, broken ships and parts to make schematics to train skills and become a machine planner. Learning advanced coding system as well." She says.

That explains it. Typing would mostly cause wear to the hands and arms but she is moving around lots of metal so her damage is more extensive.

"Don't overdo it. You don't have a body that can handle that much at the moment." I tell her.

A smile rises on her face.

"Thank you for worrying but uncle is helping, so he does most of the work, though I still help where I can." She replied.

I nod and say goodbye.

She walks towards dad while I wait for the next person, but no one comes. That's when I hear the comments.

"Can't believe such a hot chick waited specifically for this shitty newbie! He only has mass and no real strength!" Someone said in the crowd.

"Must have gotten lucky somehow. No way a trashy midget could get such an amazing girl like that." Another one said.

There were more comments as I just waited a bit but no one walked up. Finally my patience wore out.

"Alright, who is next!" I shouted rather pissed.

No one moved for a while. After about 20 seconds I noticed somebody floating this way. Actually, a lot of somebodies. Lots of female androids were coming over and landing in front of the men.

"We saw these idiots ignoring the open seat so can we get in line?" The first one that landed asked.

"Be my guest. As long as you don't mind me being the one repairing?" I said.

She walked over and sat down confidently.

"That girl from before got repaired here and you worked properly so we don't have any worries. We even asked her about the quality and she said you learned from the leading mechanic so I don't mind." She said with a confident expression.

Seeing no reason to delay it, I started. I noticed she had quite a number of parts with cracks and most had something to do with moving the arms and upper body in combat.

"Are you training to fight?" I asked.

"Yep! Started using swords but the damage it brings is much more extensive." She says.

"I would say, it looks like you're ready to break. You should get repairs more often and upgrade your parts with better ones to handle the strain." I tell her as I start to repair her.

The piercing glares of the men didn't affect me in the least. They were idiots for ignoring my call so in turn they passed their turn in line.

After a few repairs I noticed a few parts for which I didn't have any spares, so after telling her not to move much I removed the part and repaired it by taking it apart and rebuilding before putting it back in.

Had to do the same for several other parts all over her body.

"Damn! It’s reckless to train with such a fragile body. Still, at least now I know which parts fighters would get damaged through combat movement." I say.

I've also taken a snapshot of all the parts when they were taken apart while you repaired them. So just ask for them when you are building them.

I frown a bit, thinking she was a bit too helpful this time.

Why are you looking at me with that frown?!

"You're being awfully quiet and helpful the last few hours." I said.

It comes from the deepest parts of my generosity and since I was bored.

"Spill it, what do you want?" I said.

Her hologram looked away, not meeting my eyes.

A body... duh!

So in other words she wanted to suck up to me for a body.

"Your AI sure has a distinctive personality. she seems like the kind that would also get overconfident after getting what she wants." The android I was repairing said as she closed up the remaining skin plates and armor.

OI! I resent that!!

...

Though I can't really deny it either...

I sigh reading what she said while the android giggles.

"Anyway, thanks for the repairs." The android said.

Robot/Android Maintenance has leveled up.

I wave and when I looked the next android was sitting down.

"Alright let's get to it." I said with a grin.

The level up was well appreciated because I noticed something strange. Seem about 80% of the male androids were geeks and uncreative people because most needed just basic repairs but the females went out of their way to do much more than training technician skills. Some were pilots, other fighters. They just weren't mechanics because they seemed to think that it would only be useful later on since they can't repair themselves at the moment.

Not like I was complaining. Because the more damaged the android was the more exp I gained through repairing them. Around 20% of the male androids in more serious condition even came to me since they saw that my repairing speed was slowly getting faster.

After several hours of checking, replacing parts, repairing parts and fixing the robots, all the new parts I made were used up and I had a box filled with trashed android parts that I had to rebuild from scratch as I was repairing. This would help me later since I can use undamaged parts to make new parts.

Oh right, I gained three more levels in maintenance, one in mechanics skill and got a new skill.

Parts RepairRarity1Level 1A skill used primarily to repair either by rebuilding or just replacing components.

Replacing components becomes 0.5% easier.

Rebuilding broken part becomes 0.5% easier.

The skill increased the repair speed since the effects of this skill stacked with the robot/android maintenance and mechanic skills.

After 19:00 o clock the pro mechanics ended their work shift and called groups of unrepaired androids and literally showed off their skills fixing an android every five minutes. In no time at all the androids had been repaired. Us newbies had been clearly shown the difference in skill.

"Alright, work hours done. Newbies, line up to receive your room number and passcode as well as the location it's found at." Gunner shouted his voice booming through the hangar.

The pro mechanics were all leaving while the players lined up.

They were using a strange machine to scan the face of everyone and the put something similar to a cash register scanner over the pc on everyone's left arm. They were probably passing the info to the AI's.

I was probably 10th in line since Guner had gotten near me before calling out.

"Residents zone 1, block 1, number 3.

Residents zone 1 block 1, number 4..." gunner kept calling out as each person passed.

When it got to me he scanned and passed the info.

"Kid, after i give you your info just wait here for me to show you the way." He says.

I shrug and hear a beep.

"Dwarven Fighter Quarters zone, Block 1, Number 1." He said.

I stepped out and waited some steps away.

"So where is this place?" I asked Lia.

... Seems to be in the other ring. Let me see here...

She went quiet for a while. I just waited since I didn't have the exact coordinates.

Seems I mistook what kind of place each hangar was? It seems the current hanger is for the production and storing of machines and robots destined to go planetside for usage in the mines or terraforming.

The other hangar is used for production and storing of the guard and armed forces of the station and possibly planet. The dwarven fighter quarters is in the ring but there is no definitive location it seems.

It made me raise a brow reading what she said.

Since I could do nothing about it, I just waited until all the players except about 30 were left, which would go to the same place as me. Looking at their gloves I could see the same emblem that was on my own.

"Alright! You guys are the few who were either dumb or ignorant enough to unseal to many Psionic exits. There is no real problem with doing that, but now all of you need specific training to control your psi properly. Come on and follow me." Gunner says and leads us to the very back of the factory near the center block.

There was a large gate at that location and he punched some codes into a panel at the side that opened the door.

"Though this ring has basic fighter training facilities and can store some newbie gear, dwarf fighter training is much harder. From now until you can don, fill and use a psionic dwarf fighter robot you´re gonna be in training while working during the day hours." Gunner says as if he is a judge giving us a court sentence.

On the other side of the door was one of those large industrial elevators used for carrying heavy loads.

"Hop on!" He said and walked onto the elevator. I walked on first while the others hesitated a bit before doing the same seeing as they weren't being given a choice.

In front of us was a huge tunnel which, once everyone was on, began to pass us as the elevator slid along its rails.

The door behind us closed and looking to the other end I saw that there were at least 500 meters between the hangars. I also noticed how the tunnel was filled with turrets though most were inactive.

"This tunnel here keeps unwanted folks from invading the station. You don't know this but that side of the station has the strongest shield generators. The reason is to keep unwelcomed guests from the weaker side of the station while directing them to the heavily armed side." Gunner explained.

"So the turrets..." someone started asking.

"Are present in nearly all corridors and will attack anyone that isn't authorized to be on this side. The basic fighters are on that side but things like guards quarters and so on are all here. Most guards take their ship back from the residents side to the military side. After you can properly use Psionic robots you all will probably have enough skill to build one by then." Gunner said as the elevator reaches the other side.

The door starts to open and I can see the Colonel already there waiting.

"Alright Colonel! They're all yours!" Gunner said.

"Aye, alright you louts! Follow me and dun get lost. This side of the station is a real maze and your AI ain’t got enough info to move around here without getting lost." Colonel said.

We nod and leave the elevator which closes behind us once all of us had gotten off.

"Okay! During the night hours, which is after 20:00 o’clock until 02:00 o’clock you lot belong to me. You will be training how to properly control your Psi till you can easily fill our psionic technology with your psi so you can fight properly. The gloves and boots you´re wearing are the most basic of the basic training gear we have. In general for a dwarf to be able to push his psi into it you need at least level 5 in Inner Psi Manipulation. All psionic tech has a basic benchmark but that doesn’t mean it's set in stone." Colonel says to us in a commanding tone.

As none of us says anything he turns and walks away and we follow behind him.

As we walk through the maze I make sure Lia is updating the map we have of this side. To tell the truth she told me we only had an outside view of it and not the real map so instead of replacing information she was simply building the map.

As we walked, Colonel started talking again.

"I'm sure you all got a crystal gemstone from Gunner earlier today, correct?" He asked. I said yes but a few just mumbled.

"What was that!" He said and looked back shouting, scaring us all with his militaristic change in personality.

"SIR, YES SIR!!" We all shout.

"Good, now as Gunner himself said, ye all got 3 days to figure out the crystals molecular structure and change your psi to match it, creating the proper boost effect." He says as we reach a door.

Inside was a large elevator like before but this one headed upwards.

Walking on we go up and feel the shake from entering the rotating axis.

"I am taking you to your quarters, there is food waiting there already so dig in and begin practicing." Colonel said. The 40 meter rise went by quickly and soon we leave and what we see is a shocking scene of a hundreds of armed guards, trucks pulling large turret guns being repaired, large robots walking around, some pulling and lifting huge machinery on their back.

We walk until we pass through a door which was on a wall similar to what separated parks from the sectors. Half expecting one I was shocked further when instead of a park we found a large area of hangars even more extensive than the hangars above us itself. The 40 meters of the space here was split directly down the middle with with both sides having air crafts ready for battle if need arises.

"This is the airfield. We don´t need the parks like the resident ring. If you newbies look up you will notice that what is keeping the air in here is an energy shield instead of a 20 cm nanofiber glass window. This is so that the ships can come or leave at a moment's notice. As you can tell, there is no dwarf fighter robots, that´s because we are a different branch from the regular guards. the best way to call it is special forces I guess. We are normally only called in when there is a huge bandit raid or for the subjection of high danger space or planetside monsters!" He said.

From there we walked through the airfield as he told us about the ships which range from heavily armed tank like ships, which were slow, to very agile stealth fighters with stealth tech to ambush important ships.

Passing through another gate, after walking nearly 500 meters to reach it, we entered a new airfield but this one was leagues better in terms of technology.

The first 50 meters had robots of the same model that I saw in the workshop room in the other ring. Beyond that were much more powerful robots that were already entering the realm of mechas. While the “basic” looking ones were around 2.5 - 3 meters tall the mechs were around 3.5 to 4 meters tall with long protruding “wings” on its back. Some had four wings, two pointing up and two down while other had six.

There were a few floating and some flying and sparing outside in space.

It was like watching one of those sci-fi animes with the mecha’s. That is the best comparison.

“This is the pride and joy of all dwarves! The dwarf fighters airfield, you may have wondered why people respect us so much? Well this is why! I have said before, the main difference between the guards and us is equipment! That simple difference puts us worlds apart from them.” Colonel said with all his pride and joy.

“Sir… if dwarves have this then why aren’t they the strongest race in the universe? Or have their own separate faction?” I asked outright.

“Because nearly all races have their own trump card. Elves, as you may know, have their annoyingly massive talent with Exterior Psi manipulation. As long as an elf is strong and experienced enough, they can fight on par with a dwarf of equal rank and experience when he is armored for combat.” He said. “Let’s put it like this, if you take a dwarf and an elf and have each with only the top ten digits of their hands with psi exits open, dwarves can lift about 100 grams right? An elf on the other hand can lift 1 kilo.” He said.

Most of our eyes grew wide. That was a difference of nearly 10 times the weight with the same amount of exits. It clearly showed racials were something else.

“On the other hand, Ogres have their ability to learn to use new weapons with much greater ease. Our robot’s count as weapons so they can also learn to pilot one of our suits. Terrians are similar and not only that, they have ingenuity to use what they got on hand, which makes them threatening and an annoyance to fight when they got some good gear. Just so you know both the dominion and Holy Federation have their own models of our tech since all the races split off into one of the three galactic factions. Our models are the most neutral and keep closest to the original design of what it was originally.” Colonel says. “Tosks have their natural armor and swiftness add that to the fact that they are excellent warriors and second best at Inner Psi manipulation, after us they are the race that most give us trouble when fighting one on one with similar gear. As for the androids, those who don’t go after psi upgrades retain a natural trait called Overclocking. It pushes their bodies to the limit but they overheat quickly by using this, leading to said overheating. Still, it’s enough to overpower someone of similar rank if they aren’t careful.”

I was actually expecting that to be honest. A humanoid robot is a few steps from becoming a robot again it´s not very surprising.

“Now then, as you can see, the basic models are gonna be your training gear once you can activate the basic psionic tech gear. Now to your rooms.” He said and led us through the field into the next door where we found rooms. Lots and lots of rooms. Each one had a number but only after we reached a section with a big sign stating “Newbie sector” over it did we get to enter the room.

“Remember the number you were given and go into your room. Just a warning, you have 3 days to learn the crystals structure. If you fail to do so you will be making 10 boxes of spare parts for the others to repair the robots.” Colonel said.

He turned his back and let out a loud laugh.

I simply sighed and turn to the door with a number 1 on it. There was a digital scanner above the handle so I put my left wrist over it and it was scanned. I hear a click which meant it opened, so I entered.

The room was basic at best. Just a bedroom with a single bed, a rack for my armor and a closet with some casual clothes.

I remove the armor completely and put some of the clothes on and found they fit properly. Maybe there was an auto adjustment. Not everything can be realistic.

With some more comfortable clothes on I open the toolbox on my armor and take out the topaz crystal and sit on the bed.

Before I start I saw a window appear from the wrist of the armor.

Might be bad to say this, but why not cheat? A quick log out and look in the net for the image of the molecular structure (which happens to be a construction of triangles forming prisms) and come back and try it.

“Thanks for the hint, but while seeing several tens of thousands of virtual images of the structure is easy, I can’t get the same feeling that I would get by doing what I need to do.” I said.

Still it was helpful to know the basic setup...maybe.

“So how was it again…” I mutter.

Push your psi into the gem then reabsorb the psi and try to read the structure.

“Thanks… and you really seem far too helpful!” I said.

THAT’S BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING TO DO DAMN IT!! Go train faster and get into one of those robot's so i can have fun checking out those beauties!!!

“Wow… stressed much. Wait… don’t tell me you plan to scan the systems of the robot to make plans for a body for yourself?” I said suddenly getting such thoughts.

>.>

(Shall not confirm or deny) I shall leave it to your imagination what this great AI’s sexy body will turn out as!

I just sigh at the delusions of this AI. Still while she is delusional I can work with it since she is being helpful at the moment.

Following what she said, I focus on my right hand and will the Psi to move out of my body and start to flow into the gem.

I feels as if a barrier was around the gem similar to how my skin keeps blocking my psi from going out.

Seeing it was like this I spread the psi over the entire gem’s surface covering it completely while trying my best to not let the psi drift off even though some does despite my efforts.

I then have the psi push in at once.

I feel several spots where psi entered. Was a bit surprised it was at the edges of the gem but that made it easier.

The gem was long like a prism and since psi enters from the edges, I put the top end on my right hand were I will try to continuously release my psi and funnel it into the point and once enough psi is inside the gemstone I will try to remove it from the other end and establish a current into my body.

With a plan in mind I start to meditate on this plan. Pushing psi out with one hand and absorbing with the other.

It didn’t really go well doing two contradicting actions with my level of skill, especially with external psi.

Instead I changed plan and started to fill the gem from both sides.

I dump 95% of my psi inside with no visible change to it but when I tried to pull out the psi it felt as if I was pulling a rock.

“So this is why dwarves are so stubborn. Their psi has hardened to be like crystals.” I said rather annoyed.

Sticking my index finger on one edge I quickly eject psi and try to reabsorb it. As the psi enters I instantly feel a rising resistance towards removing the psi and in turn had to push a bit more psi to cover what I was removing, until it finally was absorbed into my body again.

“Damn it! I got a tiny fragment but had so much psi absorbed by the gem!” I complained.

Still, I focus on the fragment of topaz psi. Well in truth I meditated to regain my lost psi before I focused on it.

I tried to feel the psi or try to spread it but it was too difficult. I tried to cause my psi to erode the crystal psi with no effect. Reaching the ends of my patience I imagine the fragment burning and in response my psi begins vibrating violently, making the topaz psi vibrate and start to spread as it started to open up.

I was surprised it worked but the surprise made me lose my concentration so the vibration stopped and the psi closed up again.

Seeing it work, I did it again causing it to slowly spread open until it was stretched. While keeping the vibration I start to push my psi through the opened topaz psi.

What I felt were just like Lia said, triangle structure building a kind of pyramid shape.

Feeling mentally exhausted I let my psi calm down.

The fragment closed up after that and I was sweating a lot. Still I got more or less what I wanted.

I go get the gloves and boots and put them on and start to push psi to my right hand. As it´s about to reach the final digit I stopped it and imagined the structure I remember and began to slowly mold the psi to that shape. I started at the joint between my top digits and the middle ones and slowly worked it back all the way to the wrist.

When I finished I suddenly felt the weight of my hand as it had grown heavy like the topaz crystal.

You have leveled up Inner Psi manipulation[Tr]You have leveled up Psi Reinforcement[Tr]You have gained 1 points of Mentality[Tr]You have learned a new skill[Tr]Reinforced FistRarity2Level 1A fist that has been reinforced by psi that has been structured like a very hard material. It makes the punch several times harder and the strength of the body part higher.

Psi cost: 100 per fist

Reinforces fist by 5% and makes attacks 5% stronger
