In the 264 years since the Great Singularity Wars, the world has been irrevocably changed. Technologies like nanobots and rogue artificial intelligences have caused the planet's wildlife to evolve in dangerous and powerful ways, pushing humanity to the verge of extinction. However, the remaining survivors are not without ways to fight back. Nanotech can enhance humans just as well as beasts, but perhaps most surprisingly, humanity has found an unexpected ally: a group of human-neutral AIs called Daemons. Val is a 22-year old woman striving to become a User: a nano-empowered human paired with a Daemon that serves as society's final and most powerful line of defense. When a critical issue in her nanosystem's core seemingly leaves her unable to serve as a User, she's given a difficult choice: give up on her dreams or accept a potentially unstable AI, Noir, as her Daemon partner. Val and Noir are stronger together than they are apart, but can they survive long enough to unlock their potential? Can they find a place among the other pairings like them, shunned by society but essential to civilization's survival? The many characters in Neolys must unite and struggle against The Far Away Dream. Is a world of suffering worth fighting for? Is it insanity to fight for what hurts you? (I am in the process of rewriting/refurbishing this long story from one I wrote long ago and saved on my computer, into first person. I abandoned it many years ago. It will take time to figure everything out again and make the right changes. The Prologue/first chapter is supposed to be in third person)

Not too long afterwards, Eddie learns that his mother is more than just a normal widowed homemaker and that he carries within himself one of the Six Elder Dragons. Blackhaven, an evil rogue guild pursues Eddie throughout the universe of the world tree Yggdrasil. They are a faction that is tracking and hunting elder dragons. They will never stop and use any means necessary to achieve their goal. To survive, Eddie must endure hardship and many obstacles. Concepts: The book series is influenced by and based off the Naruto manga (Japanese comic) written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto set in an Alternate Universe set in a Norse Mythology, European Mythology and Modern Age crossover fantasy. The setting is from a crossover between Norse and European mythology. Other concepts? The series will be the third or fourth generation between tales of Orcs versus Humans, started nearly a century ago by author J.R.R. Tolkien.
