《Double Trouble》14. Everyone (Part 3)

Hilary, Stanley, and Jordan walked outside the apartment building; to their shock, they found the surrounding area changed for the worse. The sky broke apart, as pieces of clouds fell to the ground, and parts of the surrounding buildings got torn up as they flew through the skies as if in zero gravity. The arrows on the clock dropped and stayed still, while others spun backward at a crazy speed. People down the streets lost their color, their faces wiped off, as they all stood still.
"What's happening around here?" Hilary questioned as they walked around slowly and cautiously.
"Who knows, but I don't think we should stick around to find out," Jordan replied. "Now, if only I can remember that shortcut..."
"Hey, why don't we go use a map from the stand?" Stanley pointed and suggested.
"Good idea." Jordan complimented. Wow, I never thought I’d say that.
Jordan read the map carefully and pointed them in a specific direction, with Hilary and Stanley following him.
.-.-.-.
Eventually, the three stood on a small hill to get a better look at their surroundings. That’s when they spotted their destination: The Angelwing Cemetery. The fog and ambiance grew thick and damp.
Hilary’s heart pounded like a drum upon finding these gravestones everywhere the group turned.
"Um, are you sure this person will help us out?" Hilary whispered.
"Of course," Jordan replied with a small layer of confidence.
"Are they even around here?" Stanley added.
Jordan nodded. "I think you might recognize her, too, Stanley."
"Really?" Stanley questioned.
The three stopped when they reached a particular gravestone as Jordan fell to his knees. "Arise."
He motioned his arms as smoke formed around it, and a figure rose from the grave.

Stanley and Hilary stepped back in horror as Jordan got up and dusted himself off.
"Wait a minute, is that...?" Stanley started, getting misty-eyed.
"Yep, it's our Nana," Jordan replied. “Her spirit anyway.”
Stanley gasped. It had been so long since he saw and talked to the real her, it caught him off guard. "It can't be! How is that possible? I thought she was..."
"Beware," Their nana spoke up. "Someone is using my body to get you all involved."
"So, could you tell us where this Melody could be?" Hilary asked.
"She's coming; her power was too much to handle."
"’Powers’?" Stanley repeated. "How did she end up getting powers?"
"The Wish App, of course!" Hilary exclaimed, pounding her fist into her hand. "She must've used it to gain power!"
"But what could she have wished for?"
"Beats me."
"I think I know what it is," Jordan replied. "None of this could've happened if not for—"
"Doesn't matter for the time being," Nana interjected. "You need to leave at once before it's too late!"
"But why?"
"Oh no, she's here!" Their nana exclaimed, then let out a bloodcurdling scream.
A magic vortex appeared from behind her and sucked her body and life away inside, turning it into a small orb. A shadowy figure loomed over the magic orb and the graveyard where the group stood, crushing the sphere into pieces.
"NO!" Stanley cried, extending his arm to try and grab the orb, and watched as the life force dissipated away.
