“There are many misconceptions about demons. Some people (especially those praying to the god of light) think that demons originate from the infernal realm, which isn't true of course. Demons are descendants from people of all races (mostly humans though) that began praying to false gods and were therefore punished by the true 'Higher Gods'. The punishment includes their skin turning either blueish or red and horns growing out of their forehead as well as their eyes changing in color to crimson, yellow or black.

Even though most demons today are descendants from those that lost their divine way, it is actually still possible to turn into one. The only requirements for turning are:

Being a member of a civilized race that prays to at least one of the 'Higher Gods' Praying to one of the false 'Gods from down below' Sacrificing a follower of the 'Higher Gods' Coming into contact with someone that already turned into a Demon

Interestingly enough, Demons are much more similar to civilized races than to monsters. One of the reasons why that's so is the fact that they live inside towns and once even possessed some larger cities and a capital. Also, their way of growing in strength is different as well. Like Humans, Elves and other civilized races, demons rank up by just gaining more levels, instead of evolving like other monsters do.

Because of those reasons some kingdoms tried to make a pact with the demons or even tried to get them as allies, but the Radiant Star Empire always crushed every single nation that ever got close to the Demon kingdom.

*Sirius POV* 

We return to the main hall. Seems like our guests are still having a lot of fun and partying pretty hard, especially Jehova and the dragon over there. Seeing a dragon and grown creepy looking man kiss is really disturbing. I wonder how Rodario isn't broken yet. If I had to watch them do this while growing up I would have lost my mind...

Seriously though, why is she in her dragon form? Wouldn't kissing and enjoying the party be much easier while being human sized? Well, I guess that's how they roll. Many people come to Saxin in order to talk with her and she accepts it this time. I just wander into a corner of the room and start thinking about my next move. After all, I'm not really good at socializing.

But what are my next moves? I want to stand at top, but how? Will I get stronger than anybody? Will I build the strongest army?

Let's do both. If I just get strong by myself I won't be able to win a dispute with any bigger nation and only having an army is not enough, if I don't want anybody looking down on me or pushing me around.

So, an army and great power, huh? I've got like a small army thanks to Saxin now. When I say small, I mean like really small. There are thousands if not millions of spiders down here but only very few are fighters.

If it was me I would just force everybody to fight but it looks like Saxin gets kind of emotional if it's about other spiders. Only 500 of the spiders are actually allowed to fight. Each of them are about level 250 – 400 which makes them pretty strong. They are pretty much comparable to a human army of the same size.

But the spiders have a big advantage. First of all, most races really hate spiders. The mental damage and the fear giant spiders with human faces deal is incredible! And the second advantage is their ability to just walk on walls. No wall is going to stop them. Their mobility is very good in general. So, we could strike and quickly flee with the loot. Maybe I should als-

“There yer are! Right! I were searchin' for yer, boy!” (Jeff)

“…I guess we didn't do that one in a while, huh?” (Sirius)

“Wotcher talkin' about, boy?” (Jeff)

“Nothing Jeh- I mean Jeff. What is it?” (Sirius)

“I've got some presents for yer! Yer know, right, weddin' gifts and stuff.” (Jeff)

“Oh? Really? How come no one else is giving me something?” (Sirius)

“Because most of them bog eyess 'ere want ter suck up ter Saxin, so they give 'er presents. But don't worry! Good ol' Jeff 'ere won't forget a comrade!” (Jeff)

“A comrade? In what?” (Sirius)

“A comrade in the bloody pursuit of 'appiness that lies wivin mountain sized wives Yor the third member!” (Jeff)

“… *sigh* alright. And who’s the second one by the way? What did he marry? Another dragon?” (Sirius)

“The second one is Sean. He didn't marry anything special, right, his wife is just straight up fat” (Jeff)

“…” (Sirius)

“Any road, so 'ere's yor present, lad!” (Jeff)

Sirius hands me two packages. One pretty big and the other quite long. I wonder what's inside? I want to start opening them but get interrupted by Jeff before I can do so.

“Wait until that lad over there gives yer 'is present.” (Jeff)

He points at a man coming over here. The man is about 190 centimeters tall and has a very muscular build. Two horns are growing out of his forehead and bend themselves towards the backside of his head. His skin is of a pale red color and his eyes crimson. He has rather long black hair but the most peculiar thing is a crown he wears.

The crown has a dark red color and is rather simple. There's also a small red crystal within the crown. His aura is powerful and actually pushes some of the more emotional guests a few steps away from him. I can see a huge great sword on his back.

This guy is dangerous. Really dangerous. Saxin felt pretty overwhelming, but he is on a whole other level. Who is he? He's obviously a demon, but this crown...

Could it be? Is he maybe The kin-

“Hello, Sirius. I was hoping to meet you soon. *snicker* Didn't expect us to meet like this though.” (Demon)

I try answering but can't. It's not like I'm scared, his oppressive aura is just hindering me from speaking.

“Hm? Got something in your throat? Well, it matters not. Here, take this. It's a small... present for you. I wish you a lot of luck, Sirius. You are going to need it.” (Demon)

He gives me a small gift. The box is smaller than my fist but surprisingly heavy. It probably weighs at least fifty kilos. The demon turns around and looks at Rodario who walked over here. They stare at each other for a while until the demon begins to talk again.

“Been a while, Rodario. How are you doing? Killed any more people in their sleep? Being a coward must be hard, right? After all you can't get any ladies since you need balls to fuck 'em, right?” (Demon)

“You son of bitch what did you just say?! Should I ju-” (Rodario)

Jehova stops Rodario before he can finish his sentence.

“Button it, son. Yer 'ave ter apologize me kid, his pretty 'ot 'eaded! Right! Well, yer know 'ow they are wen yung! Hahaha!” (Jeff)

Jeff looks pretty calm on the surface but I can see him exchanging nervous looks with his wife and Saxin. The whole atmosphere is really stiff now and everybody is silent while the demon just stares at the father and son duo. After five minutes or so he just walks away while saying something.

“You lot are lucky I have some respect for the old aspects. Otherwise, you all would be dead now. The next time I see you I'm going to kill you, Rodario.” (Demon)

He walks out and many people let out a sigh.

“Damn, I almost thought he would snap for a second.” (Random Guy)

“Yeah, that was scary. What was one of the 'Dark Monarchs' doing here anyway?” (Another Random Guy)

“No idea, let's hope no one else of them show up.” (The first random guy that returns for a second and last time. Say goodbye to him, you won't see him ever again since he will die because of eleven different STDs)

Well, that was strange. To actual see someone like Jehova or Diana or the legendary Rodario become nervous... so he really was the Demon King? Why is he giving me something and what did he mean with 'I wanted to meet you? Did he know me before I married Saxin?

Let's hope I won't have to deal with this guy again.

I guess not.

At least I got myself some presents. I hope the stuff inside is going to help me with my plans... my future pans that never work.
