I went to the woods last week to search for this chest that contains Diana and my key to true happiness, but I failed miserably! Those woods are kinda dangerous...

I met a lot of strange and dangerous things like fire salamanders. But those are not the problem, I'm not a weakling and can deal with those beasts!

The problem is the monkey! A small ape just kept on annoying me and ridiculing me all week long! He was so agile that I had no chance to catch him and when I finally found the chest he took it! I have no idea what kind of mythical or magical beast he is and frankly, I don't care!

I'm really mad at this monkey since he's pretty much the only thing left between Me and Diana, but I think I know how to deal with him. I just finished preparing my next try and I'm sure I will succeed this time!

After sitting inside the cell for an hour the golden spear wielding spider hybrid finally came back. He seems like he's in a rush, I wonder what happened? Maybe he went to a supervisor to report and that guy trashed him?

“I've got the order to bring you to out mistress! Now, before I do so there are some rules you'll have to pay attention to, understood?” (Leader)

“Urgh, rules? Don't tell me the spider is behaving like a queen or something? I won't bow, you know?” (Sirius)

“Somehow I've got the feeling as if you said 'spider' like it was an insult...” (Leader)

“You are just imagining things, so what are the 'rules'?” (Sirius)

“Well you won't have to bow or anything since mistress is a humble person, but we won't tolerate you being rude or not showing proper manners towards her! Got it?!” (Leader)

“Yeah yeah, I'm never a rude person. Actually, I'm that kind of person everyone else is rude towards.” (Sirius)

“As long as you understand it's good! Alright let's go bonehead.” (Leader)

I and Doro are both being let outside our cells and the leader walks us out of prison. I have to say, I'm kind of proud of Doro! He is a lot less... angry since I turned him. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't just shut up and accept my commands if it was his past him. I guess that's because of the passive skill 'undead', huh? Well it's a good thing no matter the reason.

As we walk towards the black giant cocoon I once again spot a great number of spiders looking at us as if we were some exotic criminals or something. One of the especially creepy child faced spiders that was discussing something with her(?) friend’s crawls towards us and gives me... a small necklace made out of spider silk? Her whole face turns red as she runs back to her friends and they all start giggling while staring at me.

Did she just...?

Fuck that's creepy! Shit, I need to get out of this god forsaken spider hole! No, scratch that getting out of here won't be enough! I have to burn this whole place to the ground! I need to kill them! All of them with fire, quickly before they lay even more eggs!

Alright maybe I'm overreacting but getting eyed by spiders just has this kind of effect on me... It probably would have this kind of effect on every non-spider being on this world! God, this place is disgusting. The leader smirks at me and starts laughing.

“Hahaha, seems like you are already popular, huh? Lucky you, she was pretty cute wasn't she? I'm sure she's going to grow up into a beautiful lady!” (Leader)

Memo to myself, let this guy watch as I burn everything here to ashes. I mean yeah, they are all disgusting but he tops it all! Even though he isn't as bad looking as the others since he's one of the hybrids he disgusts me more than them! I mean, she was a child! Sick pedo!

After a bit, we finally arrive at the great cocoon. Luckily for us, we arrive without any more spiders trying to appeal to me. I really hope that just now was a prank or something.

Anyway, we enter the black 'building' through an enormous door. I'm kind of curious to see this mistress to be honest. I mean, how often do you get to look at a dragon-sized spider? After going through a corridor, we stop in front of another giant door. The spider-hybrid knocks. A surprisingly soft and pleasant female voice answers.

“You may enter” (Saxin)

Our guide takes a deep breath and steadies himself. Looks like he respects her a lot, huh? He opens a small door within the bigger one I didn't even notice and the three of us enter the room.

Well he wasn't lying. In front of me is a giant spider the size of a huge house, sitting on a probably even bigger pillow. The spider should look disgusting but... She instead appears 'graceful' to me. I can't really explain why, but the way she moves and looks seems so graceful! As if I was truly looking at a queen right now.

“So, you are the Unique monster that my men found? Hmmmm. You don't look too bad, undead. Let's forget about the little accident this morning and talk a bit, shall we?” (Saxin)

So she's just going to ignore the fact that I killed twelve of her kind? Alright, I'm just going to forget that they wanted to eat me then. Seems fair to me.

“Of course, my name is Sirius by the way. You are Saxin, right?” (Sirius)

I hear the elite-soldier next to me take a sharp breath and look at him.

If views could kill I would be dead because of his stare. Oh, I guess I should have said 'mistress Saxin', huh? Well it's too late now. Once you are at the first name basis you stay there! Right? Would be kind of awkward to go back now…

“Forbidden Sin? Lucifer said something about that once. If I'm not mistaking it was that forbidden sin that resurrected me... Should I reveal something like that to her? She may seem friendly but you can never be sure. Hm? Why is everybody looking at me like that?” (Sirius)

“Y- you just said that out loud, master.” (Doro)

“Seriously? I thought I got rid of that bad habit...” (Sirius)

“… Were you talking about the god?” (Saxin)

“So, you DO know of him as well? Strange guy, pretty nice though.” (Sirius)

“I'm old, Sirius. Very old. I'm older than most of those beings that call themselves 'Higher Gods'. When I was still young the gods from down below were the ones that held the most power. But they were all defeated and imprisoned so long ago...” (Saxin)

“What? How?” (Sirius)

“I don't know the details, only that it was the 'Holy Hero of Courage' that defeated them one by one.” (Saxin)

“I see...” (Sirius)

“If you are indeed someone who has associated himself with the old ones, then we truly were horrible hosts. I'm sorry. If you want, you can have one or two of our most beautiful ones as a wife. To make up for our behavior.” (Saxin)

“…That won't be necessary.” (Sirius)

“Are you sure?” (Saxin)

“Yes. Very sure.” (Sirius)

“Very well then. But you will have to allow me to have a grant party! We don't get a lot of visitors and they usually are just food anyway, so let me show you what we got down here! You will enjoy out great culinary arts and our spider-beer brewery!” (Saxin)

“Thanks for the invitation but I neither eat nor do I dr-” (Sirius)

I feel Doro tipping on my shoulder and turn to face him before continuing. He looks at me with the greatest puppy eyes I've ever seen. I wouldn’t have thought an Ogre could even make such a face.

He really wants to test that stuff out, huh? He doesn't have to eat though... but well he CAN eat I guess since most of his organs are kind of working... It's kind of strange, when a small child gives me those eyes I'm still able to eat his soul with no problems but I kind of feel sorry for this huge red ogre right now...

I guess it won't hurt.

“Alright, I accept the invitation. Thanks a lot.” (Sirius)

Doro next to me starts to clap his hand out of joy and in anticipation for the food.

“Great, Denis call the cooks and tell them to ready an enormous meal! And make it human sized please.” (Saxin)

The spider-mistress takes a look at the grinning Doro.

“Actually, make it bigger than human sized. A lot bigger.” (Saxin)

At least she pays attention, huh? Well let's enjoy this safe and eventless evening!
