"HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?" Foxly demanded, he was staring at the make-shift checkers board, a game which he just lost terribly.
"What can I say, I'm lucky!" the Thief laughed victoriously, she picked up the gold coins Foxly bet on the game and placed them in her sachel.
"I demanded a rematch!" Foxly exclaimed placing a handful of gold coins on the table.
"Sure!" she accepted his challenge with a smile, after setting the board she beat him in about twelve moves.
"..."
"..."
"What the hell..." Foxly looked at the board.
The Thief crossed her arms.
"Hmph! While John may be good at video games, nobody can beat me in a real game!" she exclaimed.
"ALRIGHT! I DEMAND A REMATCH!" Foxly exclaimed.
"I probably shouldn't rob him..."
Foxly placed a small pouch of gold on the table.
"DEAL!" exclaimed the Thief.
Again, they set the board
"You can go first!" she exclaimed.
"Don't underestimate my luck when it comes to money!" Foxly said with a forced smile.
Foxly moved his piece.
The Thief moved one.
This lasted a few more turns without any piece being lost.
"Looks like I finally got her!" Foxly thought.
That's when the Thief moved a piece over four of Foxly's pieces, taking them before reaching the end of the board and knighting her piece.
Foxly's gaze stayed fixated on his loss for a solid ten seconds before slowly looking up to the Thief who smiled innocently.
"She's the fucking witch of gambling..." Foxly thought.
After losing the game Foxly rummaged through his pocket feeling a few coins still left.
"Heh, you know what they say about beginners luck!" Foxly laughed.
"Of course," the Thief nodded.
Foxly breathed a sigh.

"Alright, how about chess?" he offered.
"Sure!"
Foxly used paper cut-outs of the pieces instead of actual chess pieces since he didn't want to delay the game.
"Ready?!" he said excitedly.
"Yup!"
Foxly lost horribly.
"What the hell!? I used to be so good at chess!" Foxly cried grabbing his head in frustration.
The Thief patted his shoulder.
"There, there, like I said, I'm just lucky!" she assured him.
Foxly looked her in the eyes.
"Alright, Let's try poker!" he exclaimed, he placed his remaining coins on the table.
"...mmm ...I dunno ...I don't want to bankrupt you," she replied, genuinely concerned for Foxly's financial health.
Foxly's forced smile became even more fake as his brow began to twitch.
"Oh! Come one! How can you be so certain you'll win!" he said through gritted teeth.
"...fine... I'll play one last game against you..." she relented.
"ALRIGHT! WE'LL PLAY A SIMPLE GAME OF CHANCE!" Foxly exclaimed.
"Wouldn't a game of skill be better since I'm so lucky?" she asked.
"I DON'T NEED A CRUTCH!" Foxly exclaimed.
"Alright, alright!" the Thief laughed.
"We're playing rock paper scissors..." Foxly finally said.
"Kay!" the Thief extended her hand.
Foxly inspected it for any suspicious non-hand activity.
"Alright..." he said suspiciously.
"I'm starting to feel bad for him... I might as well throw the game," she thought.
"I'm going to play rock!" Foxly announced.
"Eh?!"
"DUDE! I'M TRYING TO LET YOU WIN! STOP PLAYING MIND GAMES!" she thought.
Foxly's expression was desperate.
"Alright... think... think... channel your inner S*ra and or Sh*ro... if he plays rock, then I'm better off playing paper, thus I should play scissors..." she thought.
"And if he doesn't he could either play paper or scissors..."

"He expects me to counter rock with paper, so he will go with scissors..."
"So I should go paper..." she thought.
Foxly pulled his fist back.
"Rock..."
"Paper..."
"Scissors!"
Foxly played rock and the Thief played paper.
"..."
"..."
"NO! HOW DID YOU CATCH MY BLUFF!?" he demanded.
"I FUCKING DIDN'T!" she cried internally.
"Look! How about we call it even!" she offered,
"The game was fun so you can have the gold back!" she explained.
"Tch! I don't need your pity!" he said crossing his arms.
He stomped off into the base and returned moments later with more gold.
"I CHALLENGE YOU AGAIN!" Foxly exclaimed.
"..."
"I'd rather not..." the Thief said trying to avoid any more conflict.
"What's wrong?! Afraid of losing all that gold?!" he asked with a smugness you wouldn't expect of someone who lost that many games in a row.
"..."
"..."
"Ok, I accept," the Thief relented.
"Let's play a simple game, how about Simon-says?" she offered.
Foxly nodded.
"Ok, you go first!" the Thief gestured towards Foxly.
"...ok..." he said suspiciously.
"If I was determined, I could say he lost already, since I didn't say 'Simon-says you can go first...'" she thought.
"Simone says, lose..." Foxly said with a dead-serious expression.
"..."
"..."
"How do I lose?" she asked.
"YoU dOn'T kNoW?! GuEsS yOu... lost..." Foxly breathed a sight of realisation as he realised she won by losing.
"..." The thief was smiling awkwardly.
"Jump three times," the Thief exclaimed.
Without fail, Foxly leap from the bench and jumped three times.
"Tch, easy!" he said with a wide smile.
"..."
"I never... said Simon-says..." the Thief said pinching the bridge of her nose.
"..."
Foxly's expression grew dark as he looked down to his feet.
"I fell for her trap!"
That was when he got the idea.
He jumped one more time.
"There, I jumped four times, and thus disobeyed Simon!" Foxly asserted.
"...sure... whatever..." the Thief shrugged.
It was Foxly's turn.
"Surrender!" Foxly exclaimed.
"..."
"..."
The Thief did nothing other than look at Foxly with her blank expression.
"DAMN, SHE'S GOOD!" he thought.
"Simon-said jump four times," said the Thief putting heavy emphasis on the word said.
Foxly's eyes narrowed as he looked the Thief in the eyes.
He performed four quick jumps.
"...you're out..." she sighed in defeat.
"How so?" he asked.
"I said Simon-said, past tense..." she sighed.
"Yeah, and I jumped four times for the last one, remember?" Foxly reminded her, he crossed his arms.
"Finally, I out-smarted her!"
"That is absolutely not how the rules of this game work..." she said wryly.
"HAH! LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE A SORE LOSER!" he forced a loud laugh.
"...you know what... fine..." she handed him the sack of gold before using shining-step to get away.

Badass
At the end of everything, Taylor Hebert realized something. She didn't want to be a superhero. No, she wanted to be a badass. And then her prayers were answered. Imbued with the power of mimetic badassery and the ability to channel a different real-life badass every week, she set out in search for all the best things in life - well, according to Conan, at least. Modeling herself after Conan have been a mistake. Join her on her high-octane, pulp-fiction journey for vengeance, adventure, victory and mayhem. This isn't just uncensored. It's anti-censored! =========================== (Worm/Fate/Badass of the Week) Warning: crack-taken-seriously, over-the-top pulp-fiction style violence, overpowered protagonist, banned on two other sites. Hell, even the light-hearted omake jokes in this were considered too subversive to persist. ============================ AN: There’s this really, really excellent website called Badass of the Week. I’ve wasted many an hour browsing through, marveling at all the crazy shit some humans are capable of. Check it out, then come back and read this in a few days when the awesome starts to wear off. It’s worth it (all 576 entries). Back? Good! Anyways, I was looking through it recently while thinking about who I wanted to make expy’s of for my The Flying Dutchman quest ship captains (which now languishes in indefinite hiatus), and I had this idea. What if Taylor, wanting to be a badass, triggered with the power to be a different Badass every week? With a bit of Fate-style ability to draw on the tools associated with the legend (but to a just marginally less ridiculous degree), and a drive and aura to be and do badass? And thus, Badass was born in it’s somewhat cracky glory. Enjoy.

The Forgotten One
Hey there everbody. This will be my second upload to Roll 20. Unfortunately I wasn't able to continue my previous one due to life and what not but I'm now back and have a some what new idea I've been kicking around for years. We'll see if i head back to my other fiction due to having things calming down. And like always I'm open to constructive critisims. Any way on to the synopsis. The world as we know it is gone. Torn from everyone due to two major things. First and foremost a biologica lweapon that no one wanted to take credit for after it was released and couldn't be stopped (a zombie virus of sorts) and the way that many nations thought to stop it from spreading was to destory everything they could ofcourse that didn't include them selves. So there the world was in a mexican standoff with hundreds of countries with hundreds of nuclear weapons just dareing one another to make the first move. Once again no one knew who started it but it didn't matter once it started the world was doomed. In an attempt to save people some scientists began working on a way to cryogenically frezze people so they could surive the on coming armegedon. The problem was before they could begin testing it on humnas the nukes began launching. In a bid to save them selves a family gave their youngest son to the scientists as a test subject. He had already been infected by the virus weeks before the nukes were being threatened and still retained his humanitiy. After being betrayed by his family after telling them of his ability to stay him self and a few things the bio weapon had changed in him physically he was sedated with enough drugs to kill a whole pride of elephants and forced to take part in the experiment. The last thing he remembers was watching his world close around him (his cryo pod) and his family's face of sadness but also hope in the fact that them betraying him may give them a chance to live. This is a fan fiction in which many aspects of one of my favorite games will be quiet prevelent. It will be obvious to those who have played it but for those who may not the game i'm going to be baseing some of the things in this novel is called Prototype. And no I do not own the rights to the cover. If the creater would like for me to pull it down please messege me.

Will You Be Alone? After The End? Don't You Know We're All Still Here?
More than a century ago the world was devastated, but that doesn't matter. Nobody cares about the past, stories from that time are as wildly conflicting as they are ridiculous--when any stories exist at all. There are problems in the here and now that need to be dealt with, bringing the past into things isn't going to help anyone. The fact is that young people all over the world are developing mysterious powers, and the public reactions to these powers are far from positive. Fair enough, you might say. Who wants a young man around who can conjure heat from the palm of his hand? How deeply undesirable is a girl who can bend your emotions to her will? What use, I ask you, is a girl whose very essence crackles with lightning? No use at all, I'd say. As for this so-called Mr Fin and his grand ideals, well, all I can say is that his clothing is of better quality than his plans. Vague allusions to a 'sanctuary' and a 'mysterious and powerful statue' are all very well, but when it comes to solid results I fear you may find him somewhat lacking. Mark my words and mark them well, following one such as him will only lead to tears. All in all, I'd say there's not much you could reasonably expect from a world such as this. Conflict, perhaps. Hardship, certainly. Despair, heartache, loss... ...hope? No, don't be ridiculous. Where could one find hope, in this ruin of an existence? Honestly, I am asking. Where?Discord
