"And our next contestant is..." Malagmus gestured towards Crown who reluctantly walked into the centre of the arena, she could see Bromy frantically laughing.
"W-what the hell is she doing in the arena?!" Larry the green-furred wolfman asked sitting down next to Bromy.
Bromy shrugged.
"She listened to Malagmus..." Bromy replied.
"And her opponent will be a fellow first-timer, Monoblum!" from the tent walked out a hooded figure, they were clad in all-black clothes, everything from the belt, cloak, boots, trousers, shirt, gloves and shoulder pads was pitch black.
From inside of the dark hood came a green glow.
The figure didn't say anything, they looked pretty relaxed, walking with their hands behind their head.
The atmosphere grew tense as the two looked at each other hoping to gauge the abilities of the other.
"GO!" Malagmus exclaimed.
In a flash, the two acted.
Crown extended her hand towards the enemy, "Fairy flies!" she exclaimed, from her hand flew out a flock of neon-green, ethereal geese.
They flew at the speed of a thrown knife.
Bracing himself for impact, Monoblum lifted his hands up, placing his elbows before his face.
The geese shattered into sparks upon making contact, though he could feel the impact of the mini-explosions.
Not giving Monoblum a chance to react, she cast the same spell again, "Fairy Flies!"
"Looks like I can use the old name for a new skill..." she thought.
Bromy and Larry watched from above.
"Not bad..." Larry remarked.
"She'll run out of mana soon," Bromy remarked.
Monoblum clapped their hands and from the ground grew a tree that snapped and cracked until it was shaped like a scythe.
As Monoblum touched the weapon its "blade" began to glow green.
With a burst of speed, he sprinted forward.
Crown let out another "Fire Flies!" the geese all being slashed with the scythe before reaching the target.
He leapt forward, ready to slice Crown in two as he felt it, his weapon was grabbed onto by the long-necked geese growing from the soil below.
"GOT YOU!" Crown exclaimed as she extended her hand forward towards him, "Fairly Flies!" the geese flew out, though not at the foe, since Monoblum grabbed her wrist and bent it upwards towards the sky.
"He's fast!" Crown thought as she heard the crack and felt the pain from her wrist.
"Ah! What the fuck, dude?!" she demanded seeing her limp hand.

Monobum lifted the scythe into the air, planting it in the ground where Crown stood only a split second ago.
Below her, a crowd of geese carried her away.
She used a basic healing spell to heal the wrist as Monoblum snapped back towards her.
She extended her hand towards him.
"Fairy Flies!" she exclaimed as a small flock of geese flew out doing little to hurt the hooded enemy.
Crown looked down at the geese carrying her and saw that they were all exhausted.
"Shit, looks like you're low on mana too..." she remarked.
She breathed a sigh of defeat.
"I give up, I'm out of mana..." she sighed.
Monoblum continued making his way towards Crown, scythe in hand.
"Guess I'm not quite on the same level as an arch-" she was cut off by the scythe flying in front of her.
"Hey! Dude! I said I give up!" she exclaimed dodging another strike.
Murmurs started spreading around the crowd as the hooded creature continued attacking Crown.
"Fairy Flies!" she aimed at him, the geese flew out, missing him for the most part, though one of them grabbed onto the hood and pulled it back revealing a skull.
"An undead!" Crown exclaimed as the assault continued.
Its eyes glowed a vibrant green light as he continued.
"What the hell's your problem?!" Crown demanded, continuously backing away.
A few druids walked down from the sides of the arena.
"Alright, alright, break it up you tw-" they were cut off when the skeleton, Monoblum sliced them in two, spraying their blood everywhere.
From the ground flew up dozens of roots, all different colours, it was the team effort of a dozen druids, the skeleton effortlessly sliced through them all on his way towards Crown.
The skeleton finally got a clean hit on Crown, landing a massive cut on her shoulder.
"Ah!" she looked for a way out of this situation.
With the rest of her mana, she pointed her hand towards the skeleton.
"Fairy F-" she was unable to finish casting the spell because her hand was cut sliced off with the scythe.
"AH YOU FUCK!" she exclaimed.
The roots from behind proceeded, stabbing into the skeleton to no avail.
Larry was able to make it down into the arena, getting into his fighting stance he rushed at the skeleton who effortlessly countered his strike by grabbing onto both of his arms.

"Quit sitting there and get going!" Larry instructed as a few more druids began making their way towards Monoblum.
"Thanks, Larry!" she exclaimed getting just far enough away to close her wound.
Monoblum headbutted Larry who performed a side-kick, cracking a few of his ribs.
Enraged, Monoblum literally kicked a hole through Larry's stomach.
"ACH!" Larry gasped as he fell back to the ground.
"Larry!" Crown exclaimed, visibly pale from the blood loss.
Bromy finally made it to the fight, gasping for air.
"Why do they need.... so many.... fucking stairs...?!" Bromy demanded, his presence passively healed Crown and Larry at a rate higher than Crown's actual healing.
Bromy summoned a bunch of roots from under the skeleton, growing inside him and immobilizing the skeleton.
Crown ran up to Larry who was patting the closing wound in his gut.
Bromy breathed a sigh, turning to heal Crown's arm and Larry's chest-hole.
"LOOK OUT!" cried a voice from the stage as the roots Bromy created shattered into splinters.
The skeleton was in the middle of performing a horizontal slash to decapitate Bromy when his scythe was grabbed by the ogre, PastaFiend, the blade digging deep into his hand.
The skeleton's eyes were fixated on Crown this entire time.
PastaFiend charged into the skeleton, pushing him to the ground and crushing several of his bones.
Despite this, the skeleton kept his eyes on Crown.
"I GOT HIM!" the ogre cried as from his mouth came a stream of blood, another scythe grew from below the skeleton and through the body of the ogre.
"AHHH!" PastFiend pulled his head back, slamming it into the skeleton's skull, shattering the rocks below him.
He looked down and saw the skeleton's skull was partially cracked, for once his attention left Crown and became set on the ogre, he headbutted him so hard his face caved inwards as he fell backwards onto the ground.
His wounds were slowly healing thanks to Bromy's presence.
The skeleton's glowing eyes once more became focused on Crown.
Larry got off the ground, now completely healed.
Bromy reached for his scalpel, ready to put up a fight against the skeleton.
"I would prefer if you had some meat to mutilate... but what can you do..." he grinned.
"You need to get away from here, the exit portal is in village..." said Abby the ogre standing before the skeleton who was now standing up from the ground.
"What the hell are you saying?" Bromy demanded.
"He's too strong, the others are already heading towards the portal! I'll keep him busy until then!" she exclaimed.
Vinell, the rose druid hopped off the side of the arena and into the fighting part with a painful crunch.
He tried to keep a straight face as he discretely healed his dislocated ankle.
"I still didn't get a crack at this guy, I'm not giving up on my druid-only club!" he laughed.
The ogre with a newly healed face stood up, spitting out a handful of rose petals.
"I'm not leaving either..." he said looking at the trio, Crown, Bromy and Larry.
"Get going you three! I'll message Bromy when we're in the clear!" Abby exclaimed as Bromy let out a sigh.
"Fine..." he hissed, picking Crown up and carrying her under his arm like a sack of potatoes.
"What the hell!? We should have helped them!" Crown argued.
"You saw how strong the skeleton is! They're just buying us time..." Bromy said.
They were running through the big forest, in the distance, green lights and smoke could be seen.
Most of the druids already left through the portal, beside it stood Malagmus wearing a yellow-green, reflective road-work vest over his normal clothes and a yellow hardhat on his head as he gestured the druids towards the portal as if he was directing traffic.
"This way everyone, out you, go. Party's over!" he exclaimed.
"What the hell are you still doing here?!" Crown demanded seeing Malagmus.
"Yeah, Abby's not gonna let me back in here at this rate, so I'm not leaving!" Malagmus laughed.
"Yeah, don't mind him, let's go!" Bromy said making his way towards the portal.
Crown looked back at saw the skeleton making its way towards them, scythe in hand.
"He's coming!"
Larry looked back and let out a sigh.
"Alright! You guys go ahead! I'll get him this time!" he exclaimed.
Crown thought back to when this was a game.
"Screw that!" Crown exclaimed grabbing the wolfman by the collar and dragging him to the portal.
Once everyone left, Malagmus carefully disabled the portal by kicking it until it broke.
"Oh shit, there was an off switch!" Malagmus laughed seeing the big red switch on the side of the stone portal.

Dragon Knight Prophecy
A hero, a dragon, and a love that breaks all bounds. A fantasy story of a man trying to save his homeland from a terrible war by completing a prophecy nobody fully understands. To complete his mission he needs a dragon but the road to the dragon’s lair goes horribly wrong, and when he finally faces the beast he stands alone. A deeply emotional story that deals with pain, regret, betrayal, and failure. Despite it all somehow our heroes discover they need each other and slowly come together. With the help of some dedicated friends they realize their love is special, and go on to forge a new world befitting their unusual union. If you like dragons, romance, a little magic and a lot of war this might be for you. This story eventually evolves into a very loving harem, where the women rely on and love one another just as much as they love our hero. Please note: I am an amateur writer who started this story as a form of therapy while my wife was teetering on the brink of death. Thankfully she survived but by that point I was so committed to telling this story I couldn’t stop. I learned a great deal about writing over time but I am afraid my early chapters were very rough. I have since gone back and begun to edit them, applying the lessons learned and cleaning them up. I hope you will still enjoy the story, as I love sharing it and I can’t imagine a better use of my time. Sexual content.. In seven books I have written two sex scenes, but one of them will be highly edited once I reach them with my rewrite. Overall I imply our characters are sharing their love but don't go into any great detail as to how. So if sexual content bothers you, it is only lightly touched on twice.
