《Binary Progression》Volume 4 - Chapter 37: The rescue?!?!?!

First, Jordan fired a bolt of flames, with his control over the bolt of flames he cut loose the two metal chains holding up the drawbridge.
Bonifacius charged in followed by Bromy, that's when they saw it, not only was the NPC tied to the table, but all the Silverlights were dead and chopped to bits all over the ground.
"I don't think this is the executioner they expected..." Bromy remarked as the large man with the executioner mask stood up.
He removed his mask and showed his pale violet hair and crimson eyes, a visible tan and several scars.
His hair curled naturally.
The man looked like a sandstone sculpture you'd find placed in some ancient tomb only to be awakened when provided a blood sacrifice.
He's muscular is what I'm trying to say.
"Good evening..." said the man as he stood up off from the comically small stool he sat on whilst sharpening his machete-like knife.
"Why'd you kill your own allies?" asked Bromy.
The man looked around.
"Allies?" he asked.
"Oh!" he chuckled after a second of thought.
"You think I'm one of these Silverlight people?" he asked.
They didn't reply, though the silence was more than enough confirmation for the man.
"Typically I would introduce myself, but I see no point for that kind of formality..." he replied as he stood a step towards Bonifacius.
Instantly Jordan fired a bolt of flames so hat that it singed the grass that sprouted from in between the bricks of the ruin.
Effortlessly the man sliced through the bolt of fire with his blade, the projectile split in two and crashed into the wall behind him.
"You cannot hurt me with magic, I'm completely immune, if you wish to kill me you'll need to use melee weapons... if you dare..."
Bonifacius charged at the man who with his size alone stopped Bonifacius' charge, he swung his blade down on him only for Bonifacius to block it with his shield.
"Colossus stomp!" the ability shook the ground below them as the ground began to crack.
"Not bad..." said the executioner as they began to fall down, the floor collapsing down into a massive water reservoir.

Before Bonifacius could fall too far down, Bromy grabbed onto him with the glove, Bonifacius was holding onto the table to which the NPC was attached, he pulled him out and took a deep breath.
"That... was... close..." he was gasping for air.
"Is it raining?" asked Jordan as he looked up.
"What are you talking about, the sky is perfectly clear," Bromy looked up and saw it, the executioner jumped out of the twenty-meter deep pit and was now falling back down.
"NOW YOU GOT ME EXCITED!" cried the executioner as Bromy shoots vines to grab him.
"What did I tell you about magic?!" he demanded tossing the knife at Bromy, burying deep into his gut.
"BROMY!" Bonifacius and Jordan called out in unison.
"What the hell?!" Bromy thought looking down as his vision distorted.
"What does it feel like, having your soul drained?" asked the executioner.
"What?!" Bromy saw the man swing for him but successfully dodged with the chain-glove.
"The knife in his hand once more, the executioner tossed his knife at Bromy who managed to black it with the chain-glove mid-air,"
"I think... I think he might be able to delete a soul!" Bromy exclaimed.
"Close... If you die to me, no matter how, your soul will be broken down!" exclaimed the butcher.
Bromy pulled back to the other end of the draw bridge.
"We need to regroup, maybe with John's tenecirus class we'll be able to beat him!" Bromy exclaimed.
Jordan already took slow steps back to Bromy, not taking his eyes off the foe.
"Bromy... I don't think we can afford to escape this fight..." Bonifacius began.
"Cut it out! If your soul gets destroyed you won't respawn!"
"Alex might be able to do something!" Jordan suggested.
Bonifacius cracked his knuckled.
"Do not misunderstand me, I will survive, tis the job of a tank."
"As long as I follow this monster thou can track my location, and as long as that is the case, there is hope that John or Alex can defeat this foe..." Bonifacius exclaimed.
Nobody out-right said it, but Bromy knew the plan would be for him to take cover and call John over here.

If they did that now, the executioner wouldn't stay focused on Bonifacius.
"Screw that! I'm staying!" Jordan exclaimed aiming his staff at the enemy causing the foe to crack a smile.
"I see... in that case, Bromy, thou knows what thou must do?" asked Bonifacius.
"Right..." Bromy jammed his scalpel into Jordan's back paralysing him completely.
"Don't worry curly-hair, I'll heal you when we make it to safety!" Bromy exclaimed dragging the limp man behind him.
"How heartwarming!" exclaimed the executioner, Bonifacius looked to him and saw that he was holding a spear.
Before he could react the spear flew past him and impaled Bromy and Jordan, not killing them, but bringing them dangerously close to death.
"You!" Bonifacius swung his blade at the foe with rage, it was possibly the first time Bonifacius displayed any fraction of the typical swordsman bloodlust.
Each swing got more chaotic.
"So his class is short-sword and spear?" thought Bonifacius.
Suddenly the executioner pulled out what looked like a revolver and pointed it at Bromy before he fired the bullet Bonifacius was already moved in to block the bullet.
Bonifacius fell to the ground, a bullet wound through his gut, he should have been bleeding out but he felt the ebbing of his life being halted by Bromy's healing magic.
"How does thou have thee classes?!" demanded Bonifacius.
The executioner grinned.
"Tell me, do you know what a demon king is?" he asked.
"I do indeed..."
"Well, I found a very interesting ring, Nekraxx, the god of the weave, capable of creating and destroy weapons, magics... it can also destroy a soul... at least that's what it told me..."
Bonifacius got to his feet when felt his kneecaps explode as the revolver shot him two more times.
"I like your kind, they called you Bonifacius, yes?" asked the butcher.
"You're not driver by a person, a law, vengeance, you're only driven by your own creed... poetic, isn't it?"
The butcher shot the blade out of Bonifacius' hand.
"I'm much like you... driven by a purpose... a creed..." he placed an axe to his neck.
Suddenly, the butcher recoiled much to Bonifacius' shock as a human, with blood-red hair charged in, mace in hand.
"Boopnsnootn! You musn't!"
"You can't be the only one carrying the burden of your dream," Boopnsnootn exclaimed as he swung his mace at the enemy who promptly shot him in the gut.
As it turns out that was just an illusion, behind the real one, he brought the mace back on the back on his had and as the disorientated executioner began to stumble around he cast "Fake fall" the illusion spell that makes the player feel like they're falling, in-game this would manifest as not being able to cast certain spells and some flashy effects.
As the Executioner fell into the massive hole he grabbed a hold of Boopnsnootn.
"Ah!" as he was being dragged down into the abyss he was snatched up by one of Bromy's vines that grew out of the side of the wall.
The executioner held onto his leg, clenching down hard.
"I might not understand Bonifacius... but this isn't a game anymore... and if this roleplayer is the one to make this world better than the last... then I guess I could take a bullet for him this once..." Boopnsnootn thought as the sound of footsteps came from above.
Alex, JohnWillStab and XPhaxX appeared.
"Bromy?! Jordan!?" John cried as he rushed over to their side.
"Alex, there's another demon king here..." Thal exclaimed.
Alex ran up to the pit.
"I CAN SENSE ANOTHER DEMON KING!" the ring whispered to the executioner who suddenly felt a shiver down his spine.
"Guess I'll retreat for now..." he thought as he let go of Boopnsnootn's leg and fell down to the water, landing on a stalagmite on purpose to die and respawn elsewhere.
Alex pulled Boopnsnootn of the hole.
XPhaxX looked at Bonifacius and Bromy laying bloodied on the ground.
He glanced over to see Jordan in a pretty bad state.
XPhaxX turned back and began to walk back to his town.
John saw this and was about to say something when he saw it.
XPhaxX reached for his wooden sword and tossed it aside before pulling out a real, shining metal blade.
