"Alright, now that that's dealt with..." JohnWillStab began smugly.
"What?" asked Jerry.
"We go back!" John exclaimed.
"Oh... right..." Jerry remarked.
Meanwhile...
Foxly was standing in the massive jungle forest of Mournwood.
"Remember, Foxly, buddy, bud, buckaroo, under no circumstances should you try and fight it!" Magnus reminded him.
"Right, don't fight it unless it makes me look cool, got it!" Foxly replied.
Magnus laughed.
"The golem will appear here anytime now, just lead it as far away from this location as possible so the mana-line misses it!" Magnus reminded Foxly of the plan.
"Yeah, I remember!" Foxly exclaimed.
"And if all goes well, I don't get split in two!" He added.
"Right!" Magnus laughed.
A human appeared from behind a tree, he didn't make any attempt to disguise his presence.
"Hello~o!" exclaimed a male voice from behind Foxly.
He turned around and there stood Arthur, staff in hand, dressed in his usual attire.
"Foxly! How nostalgic!" Arthur exclaimed upon the realisation of who Foxly was.
"Magnus, he doesn't look like a golem to me..." Foxly replied uncertainly.
"..." Magnus remained silent.
"Magnus?!" Foxly exclaimed.
"Somone messed with the timeline!" Magnus replied.
"XxFoxlyxX! How long has it been?" laughed Arthur.
Foxly was about to reply when Magnus exclaimed: "GET DOWN!" Foxly did as instructed and as he hit the ground a white crack formed in the air before quickly fading away.
"What the hell was that?!" Foxly asked.
"Foxly, you cannot get hit with one of those! This is a crack in the very fabric of this world! It feels like being a fish with a broken fish tank!" Magnus exclaimed.
"WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN!?" Foxly demanded.
"I don't mind explaining!" Arthur offered.
Foxly got up and patted his clothes clean of the dirt.
"I'll pass on the info dump! World-crack equals bad, right?" Foxly asked reaching into his pockets for a dozen seals.

Arthur cracked a smile.
"XxFoxlyxX... you don't even remember what you did to me in the future, do you?" he asked, his voice melodic.
"I'd be lying if I said I came here just for revenge... but I'd also be lying if I told you I wasn't excited at the prospect of killing you before you even think of ruining me!" he laughed.
"He's way out of your league, Foxly! You better run!" Magnus advised.
A sound much like a high-pitched siren overlapped dozens of times played as once more, a white, glowing crack appeared in thin air, spreading like lightning towards Foxly.
"Heal!" Foxly's healing seal was barely strong enough to stop bleeding, but he hoped it could "heal" the giant crack in space.
He tossed the seal at the crack only for it to fly past it, that said Foxly could feel all mana leave the page and float out into space.
"Crap!" again the noise came as Foxly felt the earth tremble, a massive crack in the air itself, this time it looked like a more normal crack, with the only visual indicator of its presence being the slight distortion of light.
Foxly managed to duck in time thought dozens if not hundreds of trees weren't so lucky as to be born with legs and so were cut cleanly.
"Quit jumping around, frog!" Arthur called out.
Before Foxly could get up he saw a crack forming at ground-level.
"Shit!" he thought.
The crack drew nearer as Arthur spoke up, the crack faded before it touched Foxly.
"That was mean spirited, I apologise..." he said.
Foxly jumped to his feet and began sprinting away from the monster.
From behind, the sound accompanied by the cracks in the air followed, dust and earth filled the sky as the trees and hills collapsed.
Foxly grabbed another seal.
"Spellshield!" the seal flew out but once again was swallowed up by the cracks.

"SHIT!"
In the distance Foxly saw a small stream, he jumped over it looking back for a second to see if Arthur was still behind him.
"Hello!" Arthur said inches away from his face.
"Wah-!?" Foxly fell flat onto his back.
"Did I spook you? If I can crack theoretical concepts like "the world" what made you think I couldn't crack the distance between you and me?" he asked rhetorically.
Magnus pulled up his (short) sleeves in a cartoonish manner.
"Alright, buddy! You leave my buddy alone or I'm-"
His entire frame was shattered by Arthur.
Like a cloud of gas escaping invisible balloon-clusters, Magnus dissolved into the air.
"Magnus, no!" Foxly exclaimed.
Moments later the gas reformed into Magnus' form.
"It won't be that easy, buddy!" he exclaimed spitting out a bloody tooth.
Arthur saw him do this, he raised his eyebrows a little at Magnus' resilience.
"Not bad... not bad at all!" Arthur said clapping his hands.
"I may not be familiar with who you are, but I'm guessing you're a demon king..." Arthur remarked.
"That's right! Now if you quit being evil I'd be willing to consider-" again he was cut off by being shredded to bits by a crack.
Foxly broke into a sprint, Magnus quickly took shape beside him, bleeding a little from his left nostril.
"That monster is... well... monstrously strong!" he exclaimed.
"I know!" Foxly replied doing his best to dodge the storm of cracks that came his way.
"Muffle!" he used the seal to hide his presence as he buried himself under a pile of fallen leaves.
A few seconds later he felt a sharp pain in his gut as his upper and lower torso flew apart.
Arthur reached into his pocket.
"I got this from a certain undead a few days ago..." Arthur replied planting the dagger in Foxly's back.
"Now, I guess I'll leave you two to your device while I usher in the end!" Arthur explained before he started to walk away.
Foxly turned to a freshly manifested Magnus.
"Just kidding." Arthur winked before creating a dozen cracks and turning Foxly into a meaty goop.
"I died... I think this might be my first death..." Foxly remarked.
In no more than a second Foxly found himself standing atop his pile of goop.
"What the-?!"
The world performed a three-sixty as Foxly's torso once again flew off his waist.
"I also cracked the respawn timer for you!" Arthur grinned.
From behind Magnus planted a fist to his back only for his entire body to once again splinted.
"What even is this?" he laughed.
He looked back and saw a piece of paper floating down "Ha, got you!" it read as Magnus carried Foxly away from Arthur.
"There, I'll heal you up, buddy!" he offered.
Moments later Foxly's feet appeared.
"Hey! My legs!" Foxly exclaimed looking down.
"That's it, buddy, focus on your feet, we'll get you a few more if you want!" Magnus offered.
"Nah, I'm good..."
Magnus put Foxly down.
Once again Arthur appeared.
"You people never learn..." he sighed.
Again he cracked the world towards Foxly, only this time Magnus pulled his out of the strike radius beforehand.
Foxly looked to Magnus.
"What do we do now?!" Foxly asked.
"I can try using my greatest weapon..." Magnus offered.
"I think this may be the perfect time!" Foxly exclaimed.
Magnus reached for his hip and pulled out his No*ia phone, he attached it to a string and swing it around like a flail.

Rekindle
My Newest, and at the same time, Oldest novel. This is a Rewrite of my very first novel that I begun when I was just starting out. It follows the story of Mark Floyd, a broken man who once tried to do what he thought was right... only to be stabbed in the back and thrown away. Now, pulled into a conflict that spans time and space, Mark has a choice to make; Stand up once more, even if it means facing an unknowable future, or let the Embers of his heart die and sink back into darkness. ----------------------------------- “For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity”. Once part of a Special Ops team in the US Army, Mark Floyd thought he had seen the worst that Humanity had to offer. That was until his final mission, one that would leave him a broken and shattered man, betrayed by the Country he served, and abandoned by society as a whole. His dreams filled with nightmares of the ones he failed to protect, mind and memories clouded by booze and more, Mark finds himself stumbling through life without purpose or desire. Life isn't done with Mark yet, however. For as long as even a single ember remains in a persons heart, here is still yet hope for the flames of Passion and Hope to be Rekindled. When the dying embers of Mark's heart catches the eyes of a Being far beyond his understanding, Mark finds himself thrown into a situation not even his years of training could prepare him for. Will this new chance be Mark's hope at both Redemption and Recompense? Or will it simply be the final nail in the coffin for a man already dead to the World? [This is a rework of my very first story. The general story will remain the same, however a few details have been tweaked, the chapters have be Edited better and some chapters have been broken down into smaller chunks for better flow and consistency. The biggest change will be to the System itself; It will be a lot less "Game-like", meaning no stats, levels or similar aspect, though skills will still be present in the form of "Programs". Instead, It'll focus more on the Sigil's nature as super-computers and how they change the world around them. This should make for a much more "natural" and less info-dumpy system.
