"Bromy?!" Bonifacius demanded leaning over to get a look at Bromy causing the giant monster he sat atop to lose balance and begin falling.
Its massive frame leaning back as plumes of dust and earth rose where it's body landed.
"BONY NO!" Bromy called out, his voice high pitched and panicked as they started to fall to the ground with the colossal monster.
"SORRY!" Bonifacius called out seconds before impact.
Moments later the monster fell to the ground, splitting its spotlight head on a massive rock and skewering its body with trees.
Meanwhile outside of the shared illusions...
JohnWillStab rushed through the tiled halls until he came across the boss' room, the door was wide open since nobody entered it yet, inside sat a masked creature about four meters tall, four long, spider-like legs and two three-fingered claw hands.
It relaxed upon an oversized red chair, black wood with red fabric.
Unlike when they fought in-game the floor was carpeted.
The monster turned to face John, cackling as it did.
"Ah, so you finally made it in here!"
JohnWillStab tossed his dagger at the monster cutting its leg.
"Ow! You son of a bitch!" the monster covered its bleeding wound with one hand.
"TAKE BACK WHATEVER SLEEP SPELL YOU PUT MY FRIENDS UNDER!" John demanded using manoeuvre to appear behind the monster before placing it in a chokehold.
The monster began choking as it thrashed around trying to get John off its back.
"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!? YOU DIDN'T EVEN - LET - ME - SPEAK!" demanded the monster before jumping back-first into a wall in hopes of killing John only to find itself facing John who just used shadow step before gut-punching the monster.
The monster swiped its claws at John only for him to manoeuvre above it and plant daggers into its back.

"THAT HURTS!" the boss cried before scurrying into a corner, it put one arm against each wall, trembling as it looked at JohnWillStab.
"I ALREADY USED MY TRUMP-CARD! WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW?!" thought the boss as John drew closer.
JohnWillStab approached the enemy with a wry look, "Whaaaaaat, don't tell my you're actually that weak against an undead you can't mind control?" he asked stomping over to him.
"It's true... I wasted all my mana on the false reality spell!" thought the monster.
"I'M SORRY! I'LL RELEASE YOUR FRIENDS!" the monster cried getting on all sixes and lowering its head.
"Please spare me! I'll count my self as defeated, you'll still get the XP!" he cried, his tears were visible on the ground.
"And the loot?" demanded John crossing his arms.
"I-I-I can't disembowel myself! cried the boss.
"Tch, fine!" John sighed.
"Just you wait, undead! As soon as I release the spell and get my mana back, I'll kill you!" thought the monster.
"Hurry up!" commanded John.
"Y-Yes sir!" the boss cried as it started frantically waving its arms around.
"Abara kadabra, hokus pokus regain your focus!" he exclaimed these words loudly.
A while of silence passed.
"Is that all?" asked John looking down the hall and seeing his party still passed out.
"N-no... it didn't work... I'll try again!" he exclaimed.
"Alakazam, alakazoom don't leave me alone with the undead in this room!" he called out, again nothing happened.
John glanced over to his party was still unconscious.
"...nothing happened... but I bet killing you would work..." he remarked.
"N-no! I got it this time!" the boss assured John.
"Hibbildy doo, hibbildy dee, please... SOMEONE HELP ME!" he cried before sprinting away, JohnWillStab used shadow step to slash the bosses' feet clean off, they flew off and landed away in the distance.

"AHHHH!" the boss called out falling to the ground and assuming the foetal position.
"NGHHH!" he whimpered whilst rolling around on the ground.
"Oh my fucking god this hurts! These cuts are definitely going to get infected,"
John will stab lifted his blade and was prepared to kill the man before he started screaming.
"NO DON'T! IF YOU DO THEY'LL BE STUCK IN THE ILLUSION FOREVER!"
John's face contorted into a frown.
"Seriously?!" he asked kicking the boss.
"What kind of hero kicks a crying foe on the ground!?" demanded the boss.
"Stop complaining and release the spell!" John said in an irritated tone.
"W-well the thing is..." the boss reluctantly finished his sentence "I forgot the incantation to wake them up..." he exclaimed.
The look on John's face went from murderous to torturous.
"R-relax! Mister undead! I can fix this! Ha HA HA HAHAHAHAHAAH!" the boss was starting to have a panic attack as is crawled back to its chair under the watchful eyes of John.
"So, what's the plan?" asked John looking at the boss.
"Well... you may not like the answer..." the boss replied bashfully.
"...?"
Timidly the boss replied "Trial and error?".
JohnWillStab grabbed the monster by the throat.
"Look here you four-legged freak! I am giving you five chances before I kill you!" he threatened!
The sound distorted as the monster started speaking the words.
JohnWillStab decided to listen in.
"ᖇᓍSᘿS ᗩᖇᘿ ᖇᘿᕲ, ᓰ'ᘻ ᓰᘻᕵᖇᓍᐺᓰSᓰᘉᘜ, ᕼᘿᒪᕵ ᘻᘿ ᘜᓍᕲ - ᘻᖻ ᗷᒪᓍᓍᕲ ᕵᖇᘿSSᑘᖇᘿ'S ᖇᓰSᓰᘉᘜ!"
"How is changing the font going to help?" thought John.
Suddenly, from the ground sprouted flowers.
"Fuck!" cried the monster, John looked at him with a look of anger.
"I WAS JUST TESTING THE WATER! Y'KNOW! THE NEXT ONE WILL WORK!" he cried.
"ᏂᏋᏒᏋ Ꭵ ᏕᎥᏖ ᏗᏁᎴ ᏝᎥᏁᎶᏋᏒ ᏂᏋᏝᎮ ᎷᏋ ᏕᎧᎷᏋᎧᏁᏋ ᏂᏋ'ᏝᏝ ᏰᏒᏋᏗᏦ ᎷᎩ ᎦᎥᏁᎶᏋᏒ!" cried the boss shakilly.
Suddenly a disco ball appeared along with groovy music coming from seemingly nowhere.
JohnWillStab looked at him once more, this time he looked more disappointed than anything.
Without any further prompting from John, he continued his attempts.
"г๏รєร คгє гє๔, гєɭєครє ђเร ﻮг๏ยק, ๏Շђєгฬเรє ђє'ɭɭ ςђ๏ק ๓є ยק คภ๔ ๓คкє ๓є Շ๏ ร๏ยק!"
A bowl of soup appeared on the ground with a puff of smoke.
"SOUP?!" thought the boss.
Without even needing to look, the boss felt a shiver as John's stare penetrated his very soul.
He gulped.
"🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩-" he was cut off by John.
"YOU'RE LITERALLY JUST REPEATING "Doughnut Emoji, Doughnut Emoji, Doughnut Emoji," what the hell?!" John demanded.
"I'M SORRY! YOU'RE PUTTING ME UNDER A LOT OF PRESSURE!" the boss squealed back.
An awkward silence occurred.
"🍡🍡🍡🍡🍡🍡🍡🍡-" the boss was interrupted when John's dagger blacked his airways... by being lodged in them.
JohnWillStab looked back to his party.
"It was pretty obvious he didn't actually know how to release them... let's hope I didn't actually screw them over..." John thought trying some soup.

Fena can’t die. To most, this might be considered a blessing. To others, a curse. Fena doesn’t really care what other people call it: for her, it’s reality. She’s content to keep her head down while working for the Mercenary Guild, but a new contract arrives that threatens to drag her back to a past she wants nothing to do with. Her adopted mother is gone, and the witch that never gets her pronouns right is currently the most popular researcher at the Royal Academy.
