《Binary Progression》Volume 2 - Chapter 24: FOXLY!?

Pedecree was driving the van towards the agreed location.
"Alright, we have three days to find JohnWillStab!" announced Bonifacius.
"And kick his ass," Bromy added.
"I wonder what the frogman looks like in real life..." Pedecree said trying to keep his mind off the whole animus-shift business.
"Foxly? Hmm..." Bonifacius scratched his beard.
"I can't help but imagine him as a tiny person with red hair." he laughed.
As soon as they turned into the culdesac where Foxly was meant to wait for them they were greeted by a massive human behind, arms as ticks as tree trunks and a chest thick enough to block gunfire.
he wore sunglasses and a bandana over his mouth. His hair was styled into a massive mohawk, it was a lime green colour.
"Holy shit!" Pedecree exclaimed.
Both the van and the man stood there in complete silence.
"Go talk to that nice man, maybe it's Foxly!" Bonifacius commanded nudging Bromy towards the door.
"Fuck that! He looks like he could wipe me and this van off the face of this planet if he blinked too hard!" He replied.
"Alright, you two stay here, I'll go talk to him," Pedecree said as he opened the door catching the man's attention.
"Hey there!" He exclaimed to the massive man.
"..."
The massive man didn't reply.
"We're looking for a friend," Pedecree added.
The massive man looked at him, nodded and headed inside of the car, barely fitting there.
Bonifacius sat against the left car door, and Foxly sat against the right, though he was still crushing Bonifacius.
"Greetings friend! Err, I mean, hello!"
Bonifacius patted Foxly on the back.
"You're massive, man!" Bromy exclaimed seemingly less terrified of the man now.
Foxly nodded again.
The group drove off heading towards the hotel they're meant to meet crown at.
As the car moved into the distance a tall, skinny guy that looked like he was in his early twenties rushed behind it, dragging luggage a suitcase behind him.

He was wearing a blue hoodie and had long, black hair, almost long enough to tie into a ponytail.
"Where the fuck are you guys going!?" he called out, but it was already too late.
The real Foxly was left behind, he looked around as saw a young girl riding around on one of those small, battery-powered cars.
He walked up to her.
"That's... that's a nice car you got there." He commented as he picked the car up, throwing the kid off before he broke into a sprint.
"HEY! MY CAR!" the girl called out before starting to cry.
Foxly wasn't going to make his getaway, the girl stood up, running behind him but was smacked by the luggage he threw at her as he hopped into the car and pushed the speed-level so hard it broke a bit of the plastic, allowing it to go way faster than any child should be able to go.
He wasn't nearly fast enough, the blue van in the distance was slowly becoming a small dot as the small, pink, plastic car made terrifying noises.
"Come on, car! SPEED UP!" he called out as he realised the hand-brake was still on.
"Oh, shit." He sighed as he broke-off the hand-break and sped off, barely managing to keep the same distance between himself and the van.
"I AM NOT MISSING OUT ON THIS ADVENTURE!" he called out.
Meanwhile in the game...
JohnWillStab was already conquered about half of Arlepia, his army was now two-hundred players strong and over a thousand NPCs-strong.
At this point, his existence was no longer a myth, but a terrifying reality.
Players and NPCs alike have started to flee, heading out to Ajuan and Kearudown to escape what they heard was slavery.
In reality, the NPCs under the control of Urmom were surprisingly well off, they were granted the freedom of living and travelling between all places in the controlled land, they were also offered training to increase their level.

Players were stationed in each town allowing for a quick network of information.
JohnWillStab was preparing to lay siege on the last bastion of players in south Arlepia, they were convinced this whole thing was an event, and as such decided to fight off Urmom for the sake of the promised loot.
They weren't the first with that idea, most others were wiped off the map in under an hour.
Urmom was less of a kingdom or political power, but more of a parasite that assimilates its foes, through strict functionality, they manage to work as a massive beehive.
Groups of mind-controlled players worked as workers that built and maintained walls, some worked as delivery people, as a matter of fact, JohnWillStab had already claimed his old guild-base, but felt too embarrassed to go see Bony and the team, little did he know, they weren't there anyway.
RuRet, JohnWillStab and Mobleous stood in their make-shift tents.
JohnWillStab: Alright! Now we'll be able to take all of Arlepia, we'll place the main force around the boarders.
RuRet played the /nod emote.
RuRet: I see, but what about the other continents? Or are we going to be satisfied with just Arlepia? he asked knowing the answer already.
JohnWillStab: Of course we're taking the rest of the world! JohnWillStab exclaimed.
JohnWillStab: I mean liberating! he corrected himself.
RuRet wiped a tear from his eye.
RuRet: You are becoming the best villain, boss!
JohnWillStab: I'm the good guy!
Mobleous: Does that really matter?
RuRet: OF COURSE IT DOES!
JohnWillStab: OF COURSE IT DOES!
Mobleous: No need to be so loud!
JohnWillStab: My point is, we'll take this world over, once and for all!
RuRet: You mean you tried to take it over before?
JohnWillStab: Hm? Oh, no, I never tried it before! I just thought it's like when I used to play CIV.
He played the /laugh emote.
Later that day...
JohnWillStab and his army marched down towards the last remaining zone of Arlepia, where they were stopped by a surprising enemy.
The "enemy force" was composed of just one player.
JohnWillStab: Did you come to surrender for your group?
The player played the /smile emote.
JohnWillStab's blood turned cold as he saw the enemies username.
Olivionion: Of course not, a friend of mine asked me to reduce you to minced meat :D
JohnWillStab: Look, man - there's no way you can fight us off! We have you beat in numbers alone!
Olivionion: In just about any other scenario you might have been correct.
Olivionion played the /point emote, he pointed at the stream of water cutting through the land, it was only a few inches deep.
Olivionion: You will not cross this line. That is a promise.
With that, he drew his two daggers and got ready to fight.
A private message came to JohnWillStab.
RuRet: I'm sorry, I can't help you in this fight... I made a promise not to get myself involved with him.
JohnWillStab: No problem... I'll just mind-control him.
He cast the ability only to have it do nothing.
Olivionion: What is it, you can't mind-control me!? Oh no!
He played the /laugh emote.
JohnWillStab: What did you do!?
Olivionion: You know what scientist friend of yours... the boss said he figured out how to stop your mind control!
JohnWillStab: Bromy!? How'd he do that!?
Olivionion: It's quite simple really... he mind-controlled me already!
Olivionion: And he gave my character only one command before setting me to my own master!
Olivionion: "Make JohnWillStab's life as hard as possible!"
Olivionion: So come and kill me if you can! The effect will wear off when I die!
JohnWillStab: FINE!
JohnWillStab ordered his army of forty players to attack.

Rise
20 years have passed since the Chaos Energy Quake rippled through the Milky Way Galaxy. During the year-long Quake, Chaos Energy became unusable, rendering much of the galaxy’s technology useless, and preventing Chaotics – beings who possess supernatural abilities – from using their powers. The galaxy has since moved on from the Quake, but to this day no one knows what could have caused it. The only broadly possible hints lie with the woefully few Chaotics born during the Quake, such as the seven Chaotics born on the world of Nimalia, homeworld of the Nimalian Territories. The other galactic civilizations see little correlation between the Quake and those born during it, but now that the seven have reached the age of 20, some Nimalians think they may be able to finally learn exactly what caused the galactic disruption two decades ago…
