《Binary Progression》Volume 1 - Chapter 31: I'm a healer... but

"XsuphicatR: Screw the little s*#ts, I better kill the giant..." He was making his way through the forest and towards the town from before when he saw the massive giant lumbering through the trees, chunks of meat attaching to the surrounding trees.
"I've been tricked!" Though the captain, he looked to the chatbox and saw that it was greyed-out, he hovered his cursor over it and a message appeared: "It appears your voicebox is missing, damaged or you are under the influence of a silence spell."
From the bushes XsuphicatR moved out and with his scythe summoned out of nowhere, he slashed at the captain severing a slab of flesh which withered and disappeared after falling to the ground.
"Wait! I was tricked, man!" he wished he could type those words in, but instead, he just stared at XsuphicatR blindly.
"XsuphicatR: Won't even taunt me..."
He moved in for another hit slicing off the arm which moved in to block the attack.
"Fuck! I need to find the one who did this to me! If I respawn like this somewhere else I'll be fucked!"
The captain turned towards the beach as he started to walk, his pace changing every few seconds as his limbs started to wither away into husks.
"XsuphicatR: I won't let you escape, you bastard..."
"Not like this! I have to get back to my guild! I can't do it as a monster like this!"
A private message came to him again, it was from the one who gave him the power.
"Suildly: Looks like you're out of time and you have achieved nothing."
"Suildly: I forgot you can't reply since your voicebox already fell apart."
"He planned for this!?"
"Suildly: It's nothing personal, but I can't have you telling them about what you saw under the sea, so let's just say you won't be respawning."

"Suildly: So long, captain =)"
"I won't be respawning?! He can't ban me! There aren't any admins or mods left!"
From behind XsuphicatR moved in with another attack slicing off the already unstable captain in two, as his character fell to the floor its flesh started to flake away, the legs were already half-gone.
Another private message: "Faladin: Hey, I see you're online - are you good?"
He was still unable to reply.
"XsuphicatR: Where is your roleplaying gone..."
"Shit, man! This is serious!"
"XsuphicatR: Wouldn't a real undead fight until the end..."
"Bro! I need healing!"
"XsuphicatR: ......"
XsuphicatR looked at the pitiful sight, the creature clung to life as it fell apart, a trail of blackened blood streaking across the dirt and sand, as forest turned to beach, the captain saw Bromy, he was casting a resurrection spell on Olivionion, he turned and healed Bonifacius.
"A healer!"
The captain used the remains of his strength to break into a half-arsed sprint towards Bromy, his fingers falling off as he came closer and closer.
"XsuphicatR: Lookout, doc..."
The creature fell to the ground moments after it made its way to Bromy who turned to look at it.
"JohnWillStab: An undead?"
"Bromy: The name is Captain Morgass. He clicked to check the username upon noticing it was a player."
"JohnWillStab: You're lucky his arms fell off before he attacked you!"
As the chunks of withered, ash-like flesh flew off the creature Bromy knelt down to look at it.
"Bromy: I don't think that's it."
"JohnWillStab: ?"
"Bromy: If it wanted to kill me it could have, but it just stood there before falling."
"JohnWillStab: You don't think he wants you to heal him?!"
"Bromy: I guess he does."

Bromy leaned in closer as green light came from underneath them and tendril-like, runes appeared on his palms.
"JohnWillStab: What are you doing?!"
"XsuphicatR: Don't heal it..."
As soon as the spell was complete a massive, spiky thorn jumped from the ground killing the captain instantly.
"Bromy: Thing is, I'm not a very forgiving doctor."
As the captain's screen faded to black, his heart sank when he saw the words... "Missing character entry, you don't have a character, make a new one!"
He clicked "make a new character" only to be greeted with a new message: "Sorry, you have reached your character limit of 1/1! You can try another server or delete one of your existing characters!"
Seeing the empty profile which was once Captain Morgass, with a heavy heart he clicked delete, knowing full well no customer-service would be around to help him.
"Sorry, you do not have a character, please create one before deleting a character."
He was stuck in a permanent loop of no characters.
Back in the original game, you could have up to ten different characters, but ever since the game was handed over to the new owner, the number has been reduced to one for technical reasons.
Each account kept you IP tracked, so making a new account wasn't an option.
"Bromy: Seriously, he had some nerve asking me to heal him after wrecking my home."
"JohnWillStab: I see, I don't know why I thought you were going to heal him, haha!"
"Bromy: Because your brain's rotten."
