Fortunately, it didn’t take Tabitha more than thirty minutes to find a stick that she was happy with.

[High Quality]
The stick’s quality might have been below fifty, but that didn’t matter due to its tag. That tag, from what she remembered, would increase the quality of the final product by 1.25 times. That effectively gave the stick a quality of fifty-seven if her mental math was right. All she needed to do was make sure that the quality of all the different eggs would be good enough since she assumed she would need to fill an entire jar with them.
But for now, since there were enough worms out there for her to fill up multiple jars with their eggs, she figured she would start over and spilled out the juice she already got from them. Even made sure to wipe the inside of a jar with a leaf just to really clear it out to prevent it from affecting any future eggs she put in there.
She also broke that first stick she used out of spite.
Moving on, she got selective of the eggs she used and only placed them in the jar if they had a quality of at least forty. Forty was enough to get boosted up to fifty thanks to the stick being used as a tool in making the juice.
And when she remembered that the other bonus objective required the Bright tag, she tried to only go after the worms glowing brighter than all the others. While some absolutely glowed more brightly than the others around them, that didn’t necessarily mean that they had the Bright tag. It actually took a few tries for her to find eggs with the Bright tag. And, ironically enough, the eggs she found actually weren’t shining as brightly as the ones she gathered just before them that didn’t have the tag.

Unfortunately, their quality was a bit low. But, considering that the other eggs she already added to the jar had qualities of 40, 47, 51, and 43, and were all going to be crushed up by the stick with the High Quality tag, she figured she would be safe.
But just to be sure, she doublechecked the High Quality tag and also checked on the Bright tag.

“Well, even if it ain’t the brightest glowin’ one, it should make the rest shine brighter once it’s mixed in with them, I’m guessin,” Tabitha said before dropping the eggs into the jar.
Now that they were all in there, Tabitha grabbed her stick and got to mashing. It actually took her about five minutes just to really smash them all up and get them into a consistent fluid. Even then, there were still chunks from some of the eggs and the sacs.
More importantly, the jar seemed to be glowing even brighter than it was before she mashed them all together which was a promising sign.

“Huh. So… not exactly the most useful of information. But if I keep gettin’ more information the more I rank it up, maybe there’ll be some extra information that’s real useful at the highest rank? Maybe there are some secret traits or somethin’. I’ll have to ask the old man about it. For now, I’m gonna go ahead and fill the rest of these jars up, and then I can head back! Oh. By the way, Menu.”

“That’s more like it! Now then.”
And so, Tabitha got back to work gathering eggs to smash together in the other two glass jars she brought with her.
Then, when it came to the very next eggs she gathered, she recognized a new tag on them that she hadn’t seen yet and smiled from how convenient it was.
“Heh. This’ll be even better for Runa’s gift.”

It contains terrifying moments of murder, suicide, mayhem, rituals, hauntings, and nightmares in various poetic forms from ballads to sonnets and many more. Most of these pieces are oneshot tales, but the "Haunted Blades" ballad sequence is marked with an asterisk (*) throughout the collection to denote an interconnected series of poems.
