Felix’s Point of View:

When my mind surfaced from unconsciousness, I quickly became aware of a feeling of uncomfort, as though my body had suddenly been squeezed into a far too small container. I let out a small grumble and attempted to stretch, but I stumbled, my hands and feet feeling way too big for my current body….I gave a small shake and let my senses roll through my body as the uncomfortable feeling slowly faded. Adorably too big paws, thick and soft fur, two pairs of soft furry ears, wings, ten fluffy tails, small body……..#@!%$ I’m a puppy!!!

An irate howl burst from my small muzzle, which only served to make me even angrier, what kind of a pathetic sound is that!?

-ARVID!!!!!!!!!!!! I know you have something to do with this!!!!!!!!!!!-

Seriously, a dog!!?? Couldn’t it at least have been a kitten!? Cats suit me much better…. A small earring hanging in one of my right ears suddenly buzzed.

-Aha…….H-hi Boss…...Ummm, it was either this or you dying, so don’t get too mad please…..-

Another earring right next to Arvid suddenly buzzed as well.

-Eh? But Arivd, you were the one that suggested this one turn him into a puppy….Originally, this one was going to just do a normal wolf form….-

-.....Attela, darling, I do love your innocence…...but I really wish you hadn’t said that…..-

-P-Papa, is that you!?-

-Aha, great timing Void! Distract Felix for me!-

-What is this creature? This one has never seen anything like it before….-

-Master! I suddenly lost connection with you…..who’s the new chick? And why are you a puppy, is it one of your new pranks?-

Blessed silence filled my head, really, there was way too much unlabeled mind transmission going on at the same time. I quickly drew up a magical formation and tagged Arivd’s, Void’s, Misty’s, and the new chick’s auras, though for some reason, I couldn’t get a hold of Zoe.

Felix: Ok, now, Arvid, I think it’s time that you explain yourself! What was this suggestion I hear your lady friend talking about?

Arvid:........................................Boss, please forgive me!!!

Felix: Fat chance of that! I’m sealing your human form! If I have to be a ridiculously cute puppy, you have to be one too!!!

Arvid:......Crap! I didn’t realize you could actually do that! What am I going to do now!? Attela, can you still love me, even though I’m in this unmanly form!?

Attela:......This one thinks you look cute…….Mnnnn, but if Arvid is embarrassed, I’ll become a puppy too!

Arvid: *Blood Spurts From Mouth* To be called cute by the woman I love…….Booosssssss, please forgive me, I understand your pain now………..Wah, wait, Attela, why are you taking off you clothes?

Attela: Eh? Obviously so I can change forms, these clothes have a lot of spells woven into them, so it’s a pain to deconstruct them. It’s much simpler to take them off and then change. What, is it wrong to take off my clothes?

I felt myself suddenly get scooped up, Raina’s familiar scent washing over me, even more distinctive with my new canine senses. I had been so busy dealing with the conversation in my head that I hadn’t noticed her approaching.

“......Felix? Is that you?”

Felix: Hey, Attela, did you add anyways for me to normally communicate when you cursed me?

Attela: Ah, just try speaking normally, our human voice will come out from the magic crystal I embedded in your forehead.

Eh? I hadn’t realised that was there…..I can’t tell if I’m mad or happy about being blind right now…...I wonder how ridiculous I look right now….No, just don’t think about it Felix! This form can be useful, despite the damage to my pride…..I shoved my thoughts away and tried to speak.

“Yep, it’s me….what are you doing here Raina?....Ah, and Zale too? Who's staying with the students to make sure they don’t escape?”

Raina brought me to her chest and began to stroke my fur. I melted into her embrace, haaaaaa, t-that feels way too good…..

“Void brought us, he was pretty frantic, as for the students…...they don’t have the energy to even move an inch~”

“Ah, I see, you got a good training session in then….did you prepare the soup properly?”

“Yep, it’s my first success at cooking too!”

“I see….that makes sense, ne, Raina, you grew up here right? Why didn’t you tell me about it!?”

“I thought you might run away if I told you, after all, meeting my parents would make it harder for you to escape my proposal…..though I suppose that won’t really work out now….”

Ah! I hadn’t thought of that, in this form, I definitely won’t have to marry Raina!....Still, to think she laid out a trap like this…..it might be better to get her focused on a new victim as soon as possible….

“Yeah, you can’t marry me now! Do you have anyone else in mind.”

Raina still for a moment, clearly thinking it through.

Tch, I had Zale work with Raina so he would attract her attention, she should have noticed what I realised a while ago…..Wait, Raina doesn’t think like a normal person….

“Then, what about any interesting people? Did you find anyone with good potential?”

That’s right! Raina only thought in terms of training, her brain isn’t wired for love!

“Hmmm, well…..You promise not to snatch him?”

Eh? Why would I want to snatch him…..Ah, I see, she wants to keep the toy to herself.

“En, I already I plenty of playthings, I won’t steal yours.”

“Alright, that Zale guy has an interesting build of muscles, if it were to be polished properly…...but he’s making me practice manners before I can train him…..it’s so painful……”

Hah! So she had noticed….but Zale…..I clearly hadn’t given him enough credit, he’s actually trying to tame Raina a bit…..but still, I need to figure out a way to fully unleash Raina on Zale…….

“Ah! Raina, how do you really know if he’ll let you train him? The manners thing could just be a way to avoid training….”

Raina stiffened, her hand gripping fistfulls of my thick fur, I felt her murderous intent burst out as she began to turn slowly.

“.......I KILL HIM!”

Whoops, I may have pushed the wrong button there….

“WAIT! If you kill him, you won’t be able to train him! All you need to do is figure out a way to tie him to you so he can’t get away!”

Raina froze. her murderous intent fading away.

“Ah, that’s right….but how do I tie him to me? He’s the one whose skilled in that bindy magic stuff…..”

Phew, the bomb is diffused, momentarily at least….

“Think about it, you need a husband, and you need to bind Zale to you, it’s like killing two birds with one stone!”

Raina considered my words for a long moment, her hands slowly relaxing, releasing my fur.

“I see…...but…..how would I get him to agree to marry me? He can use his bindy magic on me and run away…..”

I felt my snout twitch as I tried to smirk.

“Hah, it seems that you’ve forgotten where you are, and that we have an audience, one that would very much like to see you get married~”

Indeed, while Raina had been absorbed in talking with me, I had been monitoring the surroundings. When I brought up the possibility of Zale marrying Raina, his heartbeat had shot through the roof, and he had tried to discreetly move to the edge of the clearing to escape. The only problem was that all the shinobi villagers near him had latched onto him, and unlike Raina, who focused only on physical training, they were equally adept at both, and thus somewhat immune to Zale’s spells. Raina turned to see the scene that had occurred while we were talking, and I could feel Zale’s angry glare prickling at my skin as I came into his view.

“Felix!!!!”

“Heh, what’s the matter Zale? Aren’t you just overjoyed by the fact that you get to marry a beautiful woman like Raina?”

“Why you little- Why would I want to marry her!? And why isn’t anyone freaking out about the fact that you’re a freaking mutant puppy now!!!”

A new chill of killing intent killed the air, far stronger than Raina’s, it was the chief.

“And why, exactly, do you find it so abhorrent to marry my darling daughter, young man?”

Wow, that old guy packs a punch…..Zale doesn’t have a chance!

“Uh..uh...n-nothing sir?”

The chill in the air didn’t vanish, but it change from killing intent to simple pressure, which doubled in force.

“Fufufu, well then, you had better start calling me Pops, we’re going to be family after all~”

“But!-”

The pressure tripled.

“.....yes…..si-errrr, Pops…….”

Zale has been conquered! An idea popped into my mind and I let my mouth loll open in a toothy grin as I began to construct a magical formation in my mind.

“Congratulations! I would like to give a gift to the happy couple!”

Zale’s killing intent poured out at me, but I felt it shatter as I let the formation form in the air in front of me. The formation was two intricately constructed rings that were linked together, this spell was originally quite simple, but I had to tinker with it so that Zale couldn’t break it. Zale started struggling futilely in the iron grips of the villagers.

“Y-you wouldn’t dare!”

I activated the formation.

I watched mentally as the two rings separated and flew to Zale and Raina, wrapping around their left ring fingers. The spell was the marriage ritual of this world, so they were now linked together forever, Raina would always know where Zale was, no matter where he tried to flee. Of course, it worked the other way around as well, but I had a feeling Zale wouldn’t ever want to use it….

“Heh, congrats guys, well, now that that’s done, I’m going to go check on the students. Have fun on your honeymoon, you two~”

Wiggling out of Raina’s grasp, I used my wings to lift into the air and then sped for the clearing. With my current body, flying would be much faster that running. Zale cursed and yelled out after me.

“[email protected]#@! FELIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Sorry, my friend…...but I’ll always treasure your willing sacrifice in my heart.

Arvid: Boss……...that was in no way willing………..
