《Goblin Progenitor》8. Alone

The white light vanished and was replaced by a gentle green glow from the girl now standing over Mercia's
She looked to be a young girl not much taller than the Boss Goblin, green flowing hair down to her waist, her body was covered in wooden bark on her shins, knees, crotch, stomach and chest and her arms had jagged bark. The bark had green glowing vines pulsing on them Connecting all the various pieces of bark between each other. Her eyes glowed green as she quickly looked around identifying all the goblins near her and Mercia's beneath her.
In her hands instantly two one hand scythes appeared with vines springing out from her Wrist pieces onto the bottom of the scythes as she spun around into a kneeling position. The goblins all still reeling from the sudden blinding light in this completely dark cave got slashed up, several of them all falling back onto the ground dead with completely sliced off limbs or deep gashes that none of their primitive rags or skin could protect again.
The goblin boss managed to block the initial attack - despite blinded, but he was forced back as the scythe connecting with his club - blue sparks springing forth from their impact against each other he quickly slammed his club out to hit the intruder. Roaring out a command that caused the cave outside to become active with goblin shrieks and yells.
"Interloper!!! Come chop and fight you useless gobs!!!!" (Goblin Boss)
The girl crossed her scythes and blocked the club directing the attack away and use the momentum to slash across the chest of the goblin boss. His chest armor getting torn to shreds as black greenish blood sprayed out over the girl. The goblin boss screamed out with two deep gashes across his chest. The armor did nothing to guard against the scythes at all.

The girl was silent through all of this, simply methodically and effectively slashing and cutting down the goblins. Her eyes cold and calm from the impeding threat - she did not move away from Mercia and having pushed the goblin boss back, she promptly attacked the nearest goblin that was still somehow alive having survived the first assault, it tried to slash at her leg but before it could the scythes lopped its head off.
The goblin boss held onto his chest plate black blood leaking out, he grabbed two knives from his belt with one hand and threw them at the monster of a girl that suddenly appeared and effortlessly slaughtered his minions. The daggers sped forward just about to hit the girl in her head, as her focus was on the goblin she just killed. A wicket grin on the goblin
Sparks flew as she moved to fast and blocked the two daggers with one scythe, The goblin boss stared in disbelief as the other scythe was thrown by the girl - the vine extending as the scythe flew through the air and sliced the goblin boss's arm off and then instantly pulled the scythe back to her hand.
[Vine Wall] (?? Girl ??)
The girl pointed a flat hand at the door and vines suddenly erupted out of the rocks and covered the doorway completely - just as swarms of goblins outside were getting near it. The vines then grew fierce thorns and hardened to become immovable.
The room was lit in a gentle green glow from the girls armor and magic runes that started to appear underneath her and Mercia, she briefly looked around the room at the goblins and the women in the room. Emily next to her raising a hand up towards the girl. The girl looked down at her. Her eyes still looking clear and unmoved from the carnage she did or the desperate hand being lifted towards her. The runes beneath her spinning faster and faster their glow intensifying

[Return] (?? Girl ??)
The runes flashed and enveloped the girl and Mercia - and just as quickly as she appeared, she vanished along with Mercia. Emily's hand slumped down on the ground releasing a sob as the room once more covered in complete darkness. The vine wall beginning to crumble away, the goblin screeching and yelling became louder and louder from the other side.
The goblin boss breathing and gasping. Sitting up. holding his arm where it got cut off snarling loudly and deeply. The vine wall crumbling completely and goblins poured in and looking at the dead goblins and then at the boss.
The boss suddenly howled out in rage and anger, spittle flying from his mouth, all the goblins followed suit clamoring and screaming their hate - the screams resonating with the anger of the entire goblin tribe, having been assaulted and robbed of one of their major prizes, through the entire cave system.
In the darkness sat a single basket.. Through small holes in the basket two purple glowing eyes could be seen burning with a passionate fire.
"..Bye.. Mother..." (Lurk)
